As a teen, yesterday’s grey, thick-laden clouds, almost touching the ground, would have begged me to lie on the sofa in our living room and watch old movies, filmed in black and white. This film noir, always where emotions ran high, with the background music in a minor key, the action in seedy hotel rooms, or mansions spooky and dreary was a perfect escape into a wonderland of just forgetting about the day. On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, I just wanted to hide beneath the covers, and beg and plead with the powers that be, to just let me ignore this unbelievable world I find myself living, and just sleep, and finally awaken from this endless nightmare. I read the headlines my head and neck feeling tossed and turned as if both an earthquake and tsunami grabbed me and left me reeling like a noodle.

 

So, I did not write a BLOG, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, protesting, ranting, raving, complaining, fighting, hoping, distrusting, and promising myself, that on that day, I would try to just fade in with the gloom.

 

But, since I believe SILENCE DOES EQUAL DEATH, I knew I must proceed, and continue to ACT UP, ACT OUT AND REMAIN LOUD. Today, Wednesday, August 24, 2022, I, as has become my usual morning ritual, read the headlines, read and re-read the continuing madness about Mar-A-Lag, TRUMP, the Republican Anarchists, Christian Nationalism, trying my hardest to deal with this UNREAL, REALITY. Let’s start by re-establishing the focus on EXACTLY what the HISTORY of this story IS all about and finally stop by providing the TRUMP HISTRIONICS! What was and still IS UNPRECEDENTED about this whole TRUMP created debacle is the UNPRECEDENTED theft by an Ex-President, stealing and hiding Government documents and then lying via his Attorneys that HE took them, and when asked to return ALL of them DID NOT! 

 

UNPRECEDENTED is what TRUMP did in office and continued to do out of office. UNPRECEDENTED is the fact that TRUMP raised his middle finger, once again towards the Democracy of this Nation, by STEALING important documents and lying, lying, lying, lying to this Nation.

The Republican Nominee (what other political party, except the GOP), one Tudor Dixon, has decided that RAPE, is a kind of gift, nature’s way of giving back, what your Father, Brother, Uncle, or Stanger took away from you when HE RAPED you… your piece of mind! YEPPERS, this callous but self-defined Christian woman, seems to know best, that when you (FEMALES) are traumatized physically and mentally, HOLD ON, HOLD TIGHT, and wham bam thank you, Ma’am, a fetus is in your future; and after the shock and horror of RAPE, keep that fetus inside and become happy again, whether you believe it or not!

And even more BAFFLING for me, which when I consider it, actually makes my heart beat too fast for my health, to state that she is Isn’t ‘Mature’ Enough for Abortion’, but THAN is somehow mature enough to carry the child, and then nurture the child…MAKES NO HUMAN SENSE WHATSOEVER!

I thought that my neighborhood, my street, my house, was safe, safe enough from NAPALM, POLICE BRUTALITY, POLITICIANS WHO MADE IT CLEAR THAT HATE IS A VIRTUE!

The guy, who in my opinion, had been hacked into office by intentional intervention by the Russians, TRUMP (my mother always said to my siblings and me, if you complain about the actions of others more than once, you might be the real reason, your life seems so bad) warned us, prior to the 2020 election, that he knew elections could be tampered with (remember the thing about TRUMP, is that when he knows something he finds it difficult to NOT mention it out loud). The TRUMPIST Party leadership has never admitted publicly that January 6, was more than a bunch of Patriots demonstrating their opinions. I woke up very early, today, Tuesday, August 9, 2022, and hesitated to look at my phone, worrying that I might have just dreamed of some kind of attempt to bring justice to one of America’s most CORRUPT citizens, and maybe, I was hopping and wishing and my desire to see TRUMP imprisoned was a false flag (you know the false flags every single hypocrite Republican pretends exist).

 

As should be the case, the FBI has said nothing. As IS the case, all we hear from the TRUMP FASCISTS is that an innocent man was being manhandled, manipulated, and mauled. It was 1964, and I was fifteen years old in my freshman/sophomore year of high school. After having been in an elementary school from kindergarten to the eighth grade, this new frontier was a bit daunting, and a whole lot scary. Eighth-grade kids were kings in my elementary school, but now I was just a peon and those seniors in high school seemed old enough to be my parent's age. But now, somehow I realized there was a responsibility on my part to make a difference. I am now that age of being as old as my parents. I have woken up every day since the end of NORMAL TIME, aka TRUMPS theft of the election, and more and more and more and more, I grow afraid, I grow worried, I grow angrier and angrier as I witness, the insanity, of mere mortals who desire to be like the Gods of Mt. Olympus. Bad women and men, becoming louder and louder. Evildoers with more evil-minded intentions and at the ready to have the world implode if they do not get their wishes and wants. I will be loud, I will Act Up, but I am not certain what effect I might have!

HARBINGER?

 I often feel as if I have become a HARBINGER of ominous news. And to be honest, as I read the headlines, (many times the headlines are regarding the low-lives of America circa 2022) I worry that way too many decent folks either are too afraid to make noise, too many decent folks think the chips are stacked against them, or way too often the MEDIA actually glorifies the evil in this nation. TRUMP this, TRUMP that, oftentimes NEVER followed by HE SHOULD BE IN JAIL!

 

But today, Wednesday, August 3, 2022, some actual hopeful news has erupted through the toxic Earth of politicians gone MAD…

For me, when actual VOTERS are given the permission TO VOTE for their own CARPE DIEM, and not prohibited from speaking on their own behalf, by GERRYMANDERED/REDISTRICTED/PAID PUPPET POLITICIANS, most VOTERS will choose fair, equal, honest. Freedom and liberty. Of all places, KANSAS, real people spoke up and said, FUCK OFF CHRISTIAN NATIONALIST FASCISTS!  

 

NOW, what I would wish for, is no matter how difficult voting becomes, what with the Republican restrictions and buffoonery, and blatant bogus and bull shit, that they empower the same URGE, SURGE, MOTIVATION, and WILL, as we saw in Kansas. They spring to action this November, and the REAL VOICES of a MAJORITY become LOUD and PROUD. If those Americans who have voted Republican in the past and who now smell the stench of TRUMPISM, would join the Dems who seek real Democracy, plus those who still think having their head in the sand is safe, realize that soon the sand will smother them, ALL VOTE BLUE, maybe just this once…we might have a chance of SURVIVAL!

The day Trump somehow found his way into the office of President (and if you REALLY want to talk about RIGGED ELECTIONS, please begin in the year 2016), any legitimacy available within the parameters of the US Government, began eroding from within, intentionally and directly decaying. Let us get real America, there had never been any intention regarding Trump and his Coup-loving Conspirators to abide by the Constitution, adhere to the Laws of the Land, and ever have Trump lose what he perceived as the ultimate power. With the aid and support of McConnell, and most to all of the GOP Congress People, norms, values, equality, liberties, and freedom were NEVER-EVER priorities. And as I see it if you are scratching your heads in disbelief, maybe it was because your head was actually jarred inside your anal opening!

 

Thanks for speaking out loud Justice Kagan, but DUH, as the Supreme Court is just the latest branch of government to receive an extra bit of contagion from the TRUMP virus. Congress had stopped functioning as a law-making body, preferring to break laws, and create chaos. You know as in NEVER Impeaching TRUMP. The Executive Branch under TRUMP and his Fascists, ran roughshod on any semblance of fairness and equality. And as unqualified judges only hired for their jobs as Justices because they rated high on bogus and bigotry, accumulated like the dung beetles on a dead carcass, the Supreme Court turned into the fifth or sixth iteration of the Supremes when Dinah Ross quit.

 

Legitimacy, Justice Kagan died, and we are not even being haunted by its ghost!

Why this matters to me…to bash the media (always any media which is not FOX, FOX Like, or the Right of FOX) and insist they are LIARS or FALSE, to continue to bathe in TRUMP LIES, to encourage Americans to distrust any election from which non-Right-Wing Fascist candidates might win…TO DO ALL OF THESE THINGS and more, matters to ME…because all of these things lead to the demise of democracy and the rise of Right-Wing Nationalism!

Why this matters to me…Xi Jinping, President of China, is a calculating, Authoritarianist a liar, a con man, a dictator who has a disregard for the freedoms of the common man or woman, and who has demonstrated his ill will to obtain power across the globe. From his false promises to maintain a Democratic and free Hong Kong, to his “back door” meetings with Putin, this man’s word cannot be trusted, and he seldom is held accountable. And now Xi Jinping is espousing how US Policy should be handled and making threats against our nation, trying to hold on to an ally. I would think that the US had learned its lessons way back in WW2, by thinking concessions would work as Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia, and in our current events, how Putin was considered some kind of trusted friend, even after he invaded Crimea. THIS MATTERS TO ME, because too many politicians on the left side of politics seem to think BOTH sides play equally fair!

 

Two separate stories, but for me, BOTH are similar…Lies, Hate, Falsehoods, and Anti-Democratic machinations, are equals to EVIL, while GOOD somehow is always sucker-punched!
