HMMM, WHY?

 Questions, I have, for which I also have answers…BUT if I don’t ask them out loud, they will probably have me implode.

So now, with the latest Republican-approved Mass Shooting, it seems that we are placing gender-identifying adjectives prior to the words of the “SHOOTER/the ASSAILANT/the MURDERER,” by saying using the word, TRANS.  Somehow when we had the “SHOOTERS/the ASSAILANTS/the MURDERERS,” from Columbine to Parkland, to Uvalde, to Newtown et al, no one ever used the adjectives of Heterosexual or Straight. HMMM, WHY?

 

So, today, I think, at his usual time of between 3:00 am to 5:00 am, TRUMP tweeted on his TRUTH SOCIAL (truth as defined and defiled by the GOP) the message, in all caps of course, “WHERE’S HUNTER?” And of course, the Republican Propaganda Media and the Insurrectionist Approving GOP politicians are doing their damnedest to make Hunter Biden a BOOGY MAN, while readily overlooking all and anyone from the Trump Family. Where is the outrage toward the Kushner Family as in Ivanka (even though she’s my daughter, I would think of doing her) and Jared (my daddy is a felon, and my stepdaddy is charged with a felony) who both were employees during the TRUMP regime? HMMM, WHY?

 

President Biden went to Rolling Fork Mississippi, speaking to the town’s citizens regarding the devastation of the saying, saying, “…Feds ‘not leaving’ Mississippi town hit by tornado until the community is back on its feet…” Good for him. But the Mississippi, Tate has often signed and encouraged bills, which he said involved too much Federal Government input. Bills which went against the will of President Biden and his “Communist and Socialistic Wokeness,” Tate has told the people of Mississippi, that they should be afraid of the Democrat Liberals' agenda. But now that Mississippi actually needs the Federal Government to help via FEMA, suddenly the “Communist and Socialistic Wokeness,” is a blessing and not an issue of WOKENESS. HMMM, WHY?

And since this time, these school closures, we’ve seen a dramatic increase in trans-identifying children, which is not something that was normal nor common many years before this, and I think that’s completely devastating.” (ADVOCATE)

 

So now, according to Margie Putin-Greene, who I assume is also a Mental Health Professional, a Medical Expert, and a Social Scientist, being Trans, is all about school closures, watching too much TV, and TIK TOK. And because she has the BULLY PULPIT, her facts will be perceived, by the already clueless MAGA as being TRUTH!

 

On Monday, Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene and other Republican members of Congress questioned Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents conducting an inspection of a gun store in Smyrna, Georgia. In her tweet, Greene wrote that "the ATF showed up with 16 agents, most from out-of-state from cities like LA and San Francisco, to 'inspect' Adventure Outdoors in Smyrna, GA." "This visit was unprecedented. The sheer amount of agents from the bluest parts of the country is unusual and unnecessary to conduct a routine audit," she added. (NEWSWEEK)

 

Once again, Margie Putin-Greene is talking about two separate countries within the USA. The Red Nation, and the Blue Nation. And this THUG pushes the notion that the Nation of Blue has no authority to do anything about the Nation of Red. Seems once again this THUG with tons of power is calling for a Civil War. Ron DeSantis' likely presidential campaign. The bills include prohibiting pronouns in schools, banning children from drag shows and outlawing gender-affirming care for transgender minors and expanding the state’s Parental Rights in Education law, known throughout the country as “Don’t Say Gay.” (POLITICO)

It is not stopping. It is continuing. It is for DeSantis a ploy to become the Republican nominee. It is just rampant HOMOPHOBIA by the Republican Legislators in Florida.

 

This may be about scapegoating the LGBTQ community now, but this is the cancerous tumor of hate, given the permission to spread, will not stop with Drag Queens, Pronouns, or Gender Affirmation, NOPE, BIGOTRY is like wildfire, once it ignites it spreads and spreads and spreads.

 

I have to wonder, why those parents in the Fascist Banana Republic of Florida, who actually raise their children with empathy, intelligence, and acceptance, remain quiet, silent when somehow The Parental Rights in Education Law, just seems to support those parents who place HATETRED above LOVE.

OH YEAH and become a REPUBLICAN POLITICIAN. Leave your morals, and values behind as you collect your blood money from the NRA or the Gun Manufacturers.  AND somehow insist that your bull shit is of a religious nature, so it can never smell.

another day to pray

 As I watched some of the coverage, of yet another Mass (acer) Shooting, I heard two comments, one from some Tennessee Police Official, and the other from an MSNBC Reporter. Both bothered me, yet both seemed, to be the most honest answers to how this nation has normalized Mass (acer) Shootings. 

The Tennessee Police Official started off his part of the Update, by saying he offers his PRAYERS, to the victims and the families of those victims. And then, I observed, in a very cocky manner, said, yes, I offer PRAYERS, and I know some people will get angry with that, but here in the SOUTH, this is what we do we believe in PRAYERS.   A bit later, one of the always Talking Heads, this time a Reporter, commented that perhaps a few of the students at the school ran freeanother before the Police arrived. To run free he added is a tool the FBI, has promoted as a part of their Mass (acer) Shooting drills. The kids, once they are aware of a SHOOTER, are trained to run and hide or if they can exit the school.

 

As I mentioned both of these commentaries made me even angrier, and more fucking frustrated.

 

To the Tennessee Police Official, if all you do in the South, regarding Gun Violence, is use PRAYERS, and refuse to pass laws to keep those who died to continue to pray, you are nothing but an accessory to any and all Mass (acer) Shootings. Exactly what are your “this is what we do in the SOUTH,” PRAYERS, to keep anyone from obtaining, purchasing, and using a weapon of MASS DESTRUCTION, from MURDER?

 

To the MSNBC Reporter, I get it, you were trying to let us know that some kids were brave enough to run from an active shooter in their school, BUT, what the fuck, THERE WAS AN ACTIVE SHOOTER IN THEIR SCHOOL, WITH AN ASSAULT WEAPON.

 

And now, we will pretend somehow that it's too soon to talk about saving the lives of the innocent because to do would mean the majority of Politicians who receive Bribes from the NRA and Gun Manufacturers, might not get paid to play!

worse than China

 I was going to write about the lowest-hanging Chinese fruit within America, TIK TOK. I was going to say, how easy of a choice for Congress to go after, the social media platform. Indeed TIK TOK may be a part of the Chinese tactics to spy on Americans, to create algorithms promoting favorable propaganda towards China, and unfavorable propaganda to the people and politicians and corporations China fears. And rightly so, because right in front of our eyes, millions and millions of Americans are falling into the trap set by China, to collect data, and in turn, turn all of that data against anyone they choose.

I was then going to add that if the American government remained as diligent as to stop the Chinese from advancing any policy of unrest, Congress might actually call upon the MYRIAD OF CORPORATIONS, who use cheap Chinese labor, to produce over 80% of the products in this nation, from the precursors to medications, chips and batteries for automobiles, computers, telephones! Corporations make profits because they have decided cheap labor overseas, is more important than maybe, just maybe helping democracy thrive, employment rise, and inflation become less. 

 

I was going to rant and rave about how the BUSINESS OF DOING BUSINESS in the USA, is not about anything more than making profits, and that by making those amazing profits, supporting the economies of China seems to be a priority. Imagine what pressure we might have regarding limiting China’s reign of terror, by actually making a REAL effort (not a PR pretend effort) to stop producing our products in China! As I see it, right now, it is China who can squeeze Uncle Sam by the balls, and insist we play their game.

 

I was going to say all of the above, but then TRUMP, and his party of Republican Fascists, continued to act more as an enemy of the state than China. I am, so far, more terrified of the TRUMP Party than any external enemy!

The majority of Republicans in Congress may privately say TRUMP is a common THUG, but publicly they either take his side, or remain silent, and remember SILENCE DOES EQUAL DEATH! YEP, the core voters, who make or break the GOP candidate's chances of becoming a Politician, have no idea they are being screwed both with their own rights and finances, and they embrace this THUGGISH Behavior.

Three bills have been introduced in the Legislature that would further restrict the ability of schools to teach students about sex and gender. And a new rule under consideration at the State Board of Education would block classroom instruction about sexual orientation or gender identity for students all the way through 12th grade. For me, there is NO COMPARISON.  PRO-LIFE as in how you acknowledge how people live their LIFE. WOKE, as in not being DEAD or ASLEEP in keeping LIFE, a well-lived one!

 There are way too many stories saturating the NEWS of this 21^st Century, that have made me feel as if the world is imploding. As if this world has been inhabited by Pod People. I have tried my best to ACT UP/BE PROUD/ shout NEVER AGAIN/ and swear WE SHALL OVERCOME.  I will not go to my grave, without fighting for Justice/Liberty/Equality and the survival of Democracy, without trying my best for the generation of my children, and their children to THRIVE/LIVE/SURVIVE!

 

But now as a 73-year-old man, who among many attributes happens to have been born as a human identified by others as a Homosexual, I can NOT simply protest the HATE, the FEAR, the RELIGIOUS HYPOCIRCY, the REPUBLICAN ATTEMPT to villainize, exactly who I was, who I am, who, until I die, WILL BE. I had the 50’s the 60’s the 70s, and even the 80s to try and fool myself and others as to what I wished, what I wanted, to be, and I permitted myself to dictate, the rules and regulations of living MY LIFE. Perhaps not anyone’s problem but mine, but at the time I was insecure, unsure, and sure that who I thought I was, was not someone GOOD.

 

I am human, I love, I am afraid, I am kind, I am insightful, I am introspective, I am a father, a husband, a son, a brother, an uncle, a friend…and for those who MUST feel more secure in calling me some THING, I am GAY.

 

It has become too easy, too, simple for the most insecure to SCAPEGOAT, the Black, the Brown, the Asian, the Immigrant, the Women, the Transgendered, to pretend that by doing so, makes them feel more SECURE. I fought my own demons way back then, and I REUSE to fight them now. It is a battle about me, and I will fight back as hard and as much as I can!

 Where oh where are the so-called Moderate Republicans?  No where to be found when it comes to honestly addressing the criminal activities of Trump. Many are shouting that his crimes are nothing but Political retribution. (You know when republicans feign indignation because suddenly the bull shit they pulled is actually not bull shit, but actual truth in motion!) 

I am so sick of hearing any Media personality explain that the possible indictment of Trump is unprecedented. Instead, they should begin by stating, it is unprecedented for an ex-president while being the president, and now no longer the president, to have committed such an array of crimes, that he might even be INDITED. 

 

And please, PLEASE, Media, stop pretending that there will not be any sort of violence OR seditious and treasonous similar to January 6^th, if and when Trump is INDITED. Have any of you no idea that the Fascists are still dreaming of overturning our Democracy. Have you no idea, that there are hate-filled enough, Domestic Terrorists groups from the Oath keepers to the Proud Boys, or the MAGA or the American Neo Nazi’s or the American Christian Nationalists, or the FOX Viewers, and the Republican Freedom Caucus, begging for a Second Civil War. PLEASE Media stop saying things like because Trump is not president, his followers will be less motivated to try and destroy America!

Margie Putin-Greene, who adoringly seems to be a big fan of Vlad Putin, must not understand the definition of Communism, nor the machinations of Communist leaders wishing to be total authoritarians and dictators. I am not surprised at this lack of knowledge, as Margie Putin-Greene has made it abundantly clear of her limitations within education. Margie had no idea where in the world Ukraine existed. Margie, also has no idea of the meaning of Fascism, thinking it means something Christian-like, as she always uses her definition of Christian values to take away the rights of Immigrants/People of Color/Jews/Muslims/and of course the LGBTQ community.

 

Then, having ABSOLUTELY no abilities to be INTROSPECTIVE, and lacking any and all capabilities of INSIGHT, Margie Putin-Greene, states that “Fear and Anger,” will make voters motivated to vote, she says, to vote against the Democrats. “Fear and Anger”, Margie, like chasing down pregnant women and their doctors, like scapegoating Trans Kids, sending Proud Boys and Klan’s people to threaten Drag Queens.

 

And to top it off Margie, proudly states, using her typical “this is what I know,” schtick as if what she knows is based on reality instead of Q-Anon; Margie calls the Dem corrupt. Corrupt, really, corrupt as Banning Books/Restricting Voting Rights/Critical Race Theory, Judges from local, state, and the Supreme court, who tip their decisions on what would THEIR OWN PERSONAL JESUS DO?  

 

I know Margie Putin-Greene could care less, but I write this to vent my frustration, and to plead with any folks who still believe people like Margie are not dangerous, TO UNDERSTAND JUST HOW DANGEROUS SHE AND THEY ARE.

 

 

 

Again violence threatened!

 Trump’s arrest call to arms was bad. Kevin McCarthy just made it much worse.

The speaker's Saturday morning tweet was an empty threat against Manhattan's district attorney — but both distressing and unsurprising.

McCarthy told reporters in January, after finally gaining enough votes to win the speaker’s gavel. “I don’t think anyone should doubt his influence. He was with me from the beginning.”

That indebtedness — or at least perceived indebtedness — helps explain McCarthy’s cowardly response on Saturday to the looming threat of indictment that Trump faces in New York City. A few hours after Trump claimed he would be arrested on Tuesday, McCarthy called Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s investigation into Trump’s alleged hush money payments to Stormy Daniels “an outrageous abuse of power by a radical DA who lets violent criminals walk as he pursues political vengeance against President Trump.” (MSNBC)

 

The Speaker of the House, the 2^nd in line to become president of the United States, the man who sold whatever was left of his soul to members of his Caucus who aided and abetted an attempted Coup against our Government…KEVIN MCCARTHY has once again demonstrated, in public his disdain for Democracy, his dangerous allegiance to a wanna-be Dictator,  and just how much DISTRUST any American who believes in the sanctity of nation, should have.

 

Trump's threats and warnings should be heeded, not ignored. The Dems sitting, especially in the House of Representatives should immediately press Kevin McCarthy to clarify his support of TRUMP. Then the Dems in the House should call upon the Republicans in the House, to be on record as to support Kevin’s cowardly actions or rather to support the safety of our Republic. I am AFRAID because the Speaker of the House is leaning toward violence and not justice.

But the UNBORN

 Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon (R) late Friday signed into law a ban on abortion pills, as the state adopted what appears to be the nation’s first such state law. Gordon said he inked the bill because it bolsters “protections for the unborn.” (The Washington Post) 

PROTECTIONS FOR THE UNBORN.

 

But for Republicans once that UNBORN is BORN it seems that protections no longer are the Governments concern because by being concerned it might make that Government too much of either a COMMUNIST or SOCIALIST kind of ICKY Government. 

 

Once the UNBORN is BORN: Forget Universal and Affordable health care. Deny Proper Nutrition Program or Pre-School-Education. Do not provide a living wage for families to provide Housing, Insurance or Food for the BORN. Insist, because not having a degree in Medicine or Mental Health, or Science, that the BORN be either Male or Female. Teach the BORN how to hide under desks or find a safe room, while permitting a free flowing of Guns.

 

Make laws so tough on a Female, who has been raped by a stranger, or whose father, or brother, or uncle or grandfather, or nephew raped her. Pretend Incest is just a part of family planning. Insist that if a woman seeks an abortion she could be executed, because once again, it is only about the UNBORN.

 

I know, I know, I know, how much HYPOCRICY is apparent. I know, I know, I know, this concern for the UNBORN is based on a nasty case of Misogyny, and Christian Nationalism, no longer having the protections between CHURCH AND STATE. BUT, what I want to know is when will Democracy ever rise up and stop this MADNESS?!?!

Now the top stories are focusing on Hunter Biden’s emails, his computer, and somehow a manufactured idea that whatever Hunter may have done, did not do, or might have considered doing is TANTAMOUNT, to anything the SPAWN from Trump had actually in REAL LIFE done. The SPAWN,  as in Ivanka and Jared actually working within the West Wing, Dumb Junior, and Dumber working for the Trump organization. So now, as if the vile, villainous, volume of GRAFT, GRIFTING, and GREED by the Trump Klan (The Chinese government granted 18 trademarks to companies linked to President Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka Trump (apnews) and Jared Kushner ($2 Billion Saudi Check )(Vanity Fair) and Don Jr. and Eric Trump racked up nearly $250,000 in Secret Service costs in one month, watchdog says (Politico) IS NO LONGER AN ISSUE, but the MEDIA now has a sharp focus on HUNTER BIDEN.

 

Once again the Media, is pretending they are presenting news rather than INVENTING news. Once again, VIA the smart TALKING HEADS AND MERCHANTS OF PROPAGANDA within the CABAL of Republican Politics,  the Media pretends that their dismal history of enabling lies and fiction to reign supreme, maybe for ratings, or maybe to soothe some kind of misconstrued lack of conscience!

 Today, I had one of those “Like Duh,” a whack on the side of my head kind of revelations. Of course, this moment of relevance came to me as I was reading about the vast amount of Fascist oriented POGROMS (A pogrom is a violent riot incited with the aim of massacring or expelling an ethnic or religious group…), sponsored by Gerrymandered Republican Majority Legislatures located in the Red States. 

It seems that these Red Legislatures, care more about the victims of DRUGS, than having any regard for the victims of RAPE, and FAMILY STYLE RAPE, INCEST. 

 

I realized why these Republicans shout out and act crazy regarding DRUGS because by doing so, these HYPOCRITES can blame the Brown Skinned folk from Mexico, or the Black Skinned folk from Chicago, for either the production or sales of DRUGS and somehow, have the WHITE FOLK as victims for purchasing and using those DRUGS.  It is easy to place your PROPAGANDA on people of color.

 

The reason, I believe, that these same Red State Fascists do not make the RAPIST the bad guy, is because in most instances the Rapist is White. He is the kind of WHITE as in someone you may live next door to go to church with or even call your brother, father, grandfather, or cousin. Insisting that People of Color are the bad guys makes the WHITE FOLKS who voted the GOP into office feel pleased as punch. If, indeed these GOP Gestapo Type of Legislatures made RAPE and INCEST as much a priority as DRUG DEALERS, why they would be calling out the CONSTITUENTS who voted them into office. DUH!

 

THEY actually DO HATE KIDS!

 The only kind of kid, the HYPOCRITES within the Republican Christian Nationalist MAGA Party seem to pretend to actually care about are the ones living in a WOMB. It ain’t the kids who attend schools with active shooter drills. It ain’t the kids who need mental health and physical health attention. It ain’t the kids who have any kind of DISABILITY. It ain’t the kid having their own kids either from Incest from a family member or being raped by a stranger. Read the headlines, all you so-called PRO-LIFE double-speak phonies. Look closely at just how many negative laws are trying to be passed or have been passed AGAINST THE WELFARE OF KIDS!

The incident adds to recent concerns about threats against public officials as well as reports of increasing antisemitic incidents across the country. It also evokes the plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer as well as the at-times threatening demonstrations against Covid-19 protocols in the state. (CNN Politics) 

I am an American. I am a man who practices and observes the Jewish Religion and is an American. I was raised to include not exclude, to accept not denigrate, and to wonder why, instead of WHY NOT. I was raised with love, learned the meaning of empathy, reminded that to learn about what makes everyone unique is being human. I am an American now 73 years of age, a Jewish American and I am frightened, scared, afraid, and angry, that the rise in HATE has swelled to the proportions of a TSUNAMI, all of which has been motivated by a large amount of Republican Politicians, catering to the lowest life forms of their base, and encouraged by those who spend their millions of dollars on promoting these same REPUBLICAN shysters!

 

Anti-Semitism is not new but what IS new is just how mainstream it has become and permitted to BE.  The overtness of hating and blaming the Jews came to the fore with Trump. Sadly Trump had a whole lot of Donors many of whom were Jewish. I assume, they believed that either being wealthy, or a Republican would shelter them from any Anti-Semitic attacks. And as Trump remained President, it seems the same Jewish Donors, conveniently ignored just how cozy Trump became with ANTI-SEMITES. How many Jewish American still supports Trump and for that matter, people like DeSantis and a large majority of the GOP, not only amazes me but pisses me off.

 

Once the Holocaust ended the Jewish population said “NEVER AGAIN,” now it seems we are stuck with shouting “NOT AGAIN!”

DeSantis is a very smart politician. He has used his Ivy League education (which of course he refuses to speak about), to manipulate a very uneducated group of Republican Base voters, to believe that somehow POPULISM is very cool and very right for their needs. His version of POPULISM is exactly like Fascism, as in AUTHORITARIANISM, as in he is the DICTATOR, and you are the PEASANT! DeSantis is the smarter version of TRUMP, he understands how to manipulate the HATE from the Republican Base, and he knows how to control their utter unintelligent behavior based on always identifying a new and more dangerous Boogie Man!

 

And of course, DeSantis is an expert regarding the use of HYPOCRISY!

 

DeSantis says that the PEOPLE need the right to agree or disagree with the Medical Community, it is an American RIGHT somewhere written in the CONSTITUTION. DeSantis insists that any vaccination is not GOD’S intention for his creations, NO, if you want to spread disease and death to your loved ones, by all CHRISTIAN MEANS, you have the right to do so. BUT, as any current Republican Politician, has stated, you DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT, if you are a FEMALE, to your own Reproductive Lady Parts, and if you are a CHILD, you certainly have no rights as a TRANS individual to your own body! 

 

And as Sonny and Cher once lamented, in the world of DeSantis, “the beat goes on…”
