Hypocrisy is the real religion that Republicans and MAGA worship. They salivate over creating false Gods, and refuse to ever acknowledge a truth that may provide them with the real facts, disrupting their bigoted, xenophobic, and nowadays Fascist ways. 

Trump has audacity galore, but he and his sycophants understand that those who have joined his cult are so hateful that, as long as Trump points out the evil of the other, his followers feel safer.

“So God made Trump…” Hmm. Trump has been found to be a fraudster, a sexual harasser; he lies as swiftly as he breathes; he is crass, belligerent, a bully, just to list a few of his attributes. So, did God have all of this in mind with this creation?

I can laugh at this bull shit, but what becomes less funny for me is the fact that way too many other Americans don’t find this form of heresy funny, but insist this flimflam is true. Who is the bigger fool…Trump and his goons or the minions who fall for this shit?

I know this paragraph sounds a wee bit overdramatic. Human extinction, come on. But take a moment, inhale, and as you slowly release your breath, wonder and ask the question: well, why not!

I am a fan of anything science fiction. I applaud the authors and screenwriters who, as they present their fictitious plots, have actually predicted future worlds and universes where bad things have happened at the hands of those who seem to base the future good of humanity not based on the good and welfare of the people, but on how much profit can be made off of those people. 

Technology is not always bad, but as I see it, technology created to increase the profit of those who support it, placing greed above morals and values, is, for me, like creating an uncontrollable monster. 

AI may have its usefulness, but as it is being created, do the inventors and investors consider its exact impact on the everyday person? Sounds wonderful that computers can make our lives feel easier, but in doing so, what is it about our everyday lives we now must relinquish?

If you have watched or read movies or books about the future, in which corporations suddenly play God-like roles, where the rich get richer, and anyone else is treated like chump change, most likely you have come to the conclusion that, in fact, civilization has become doomed. The haves have more, and the have-nots have even less. 

 

 

A quarter of a century later

 A quarter of a century, and yet the vicious, vivid, overwhelming sights and sounds resonate in my mind as if it were yesterday. Nine-Eleven, the fear, the frantic fumbles, the paranoia, the worry, the unknown smothering most of the time, frustrating all the time, demonstrating just how fragile life in this nation really could be. 

Enemies were created, scapegoats imagined, and trust was pushed far behind distrust, with confusion over who was friend and who was foe. Conspiracy theories flourished; the news seemed like propaganda; no honest appraisal of our current situation seemed to find fruition. We seemed lost and oh so much wanted to be found.

 That was the year 2001. It is now 2026, and from my point of view, so many of the feelings and emotions I felt way back then have reformed, re-emerged, been re-invented. Conspiracy theories regarding who the Other is (Immigrants, The Trans Community, Muslims). Distrust of anyone who is not white, Christian, or male. Propaganda flowing freely from the Trump Media machines, never focusing on the crimes and grift of members of the Trump Reich, but on anyone who is not them. Fear of what might come next: which nation will be bombed, what tariffs will be expanded, who really should be able to vote, and who should be denied.

Planes were flown into skyscrapers; then, buildings imploded; lives were almost immediately ended, and now lives are being ruined; crumbling foundations of democracy are everywhere, but this time, this year, 25 years later, the terror is not coming from across the oceans but emanating from Trump and a cadre of billionaire terrorists.

Was there a lesson we were supposed to learn? No, seriously- no snark on my part- was there a lesson to be learned to help us heal? I wonder. To those who became heroes, to those who still mourn the loss of those they loved, I remember you. 

 

Third time ain't no charm

Promises, or are they bribes? He lies, and so far, he has gotten away with it. He breaks the law, and so far, he has gotten away with it. He is a con, a criminal, a charlatan, a convict, and yet he remains in office and is primarily the most powerful man in the political world.

I suppose the old adage of “the third time is a charm” is exactly what his sycophantic Fascists have told him. They must have added that your base has no memory of being kicked in the balls; they are full of amnesia, forgetting each promise and snake oil recipe you have provided them, and as long as you continue to list a bunch of scapegoats, your masses will overlook being had, due to the fact that as long as you hate the folks they hate, you remain a hero!

And yet… no one within the Republican Party or the Billionaire Class has the conscience, the spine, the moral fortitude to say Donald Trump, enough is fucking enough already! Sad!

So, the Republicans who have supported the Trump-Iran War, which is still going on for exactly 193 days, won’t be talking about that issue at their HUGE Midterm spectacle. Nor will the Republicans be discussing the fact that it has been 266 days since, by law, all of the names in the Epstein Files were to be released to the public.

One must wonder if the issue of affordability, or, in the case of Trump and the lackluster action on behalf of the Republicans in Congress, the lack of affordability, will be a topic of discussion. Oh yeah, and now the burden of paying for the newly minted tariffs on Canada, with their price increase for Americans- you bet that won’t be mentioned.

Will the Republicans talk about the exact cost to the taxpayer for things like the ballroom, the MMA ring built on the White House grounds, and the actual price of tearing it down and redoing the lawn, or the Trump Arch, and the plans he has for making the public golf courses in DC look like his private clubs?

Perhaps FOX will cover this sham and say that Trump and the Republican Party have made America great again, and provide details about how the Trump Reich has made measles great again, or civil rights great again, or voting rights great again, or American allies great again? As P.T. Barnum once believed, “there is a sucker born every minute,” and tonight and tomorrow night Trump and his billionaire donors will try their darndest to make “suckers” out of most of America, once again!

 

 

 

Tuesday after Labor Day

 This is Tuesday, immediately after Memorial Day; it should be a moment when a variety of emotions rise up. This unofficial but significant day marks the end of summer. Jokingly, for some, wearing white is Tres taboo. Summer loves most likely have been left for pages in a diary. Too soon for Christmas music, but not soon enough for College Football. Perhaps the romanticizing of autumn and its coziness, its let’s take out our sweaters motif, seems like a well-needed break. 

But as I write this blog, two sentences seem to be gnawing at my gut and running rampant in my brain. “The value of things that do not contain profit” is the first. As I look around, read, watch, and witness the arrogance of the billionaire class, under the guidance of Trump and the vast majority of Republican politicians, who prioritize anything but health care and the climate, and the impoverished, placing profits over people, I become angry. This demographic goes on and on, getting wealthier, planting more roadside bombs to deter almost everyone else from doing more than survive.

The other sentence that burns my brain is, “manufactured fear!” Once again, Trump and his willing accomplices seem to freely decide who will be the newest demographic to hate, to judge with the indulgence of great hypocrisy. Knowing that most of their cultists are drowning in insecurity, breathing in a lack of introspection, and always looking to point their fingers at the so-called others, it is without any pushback that Trump and the Republicans can invent the newest villains with the snap of their fingers. 

The coming of the Fall season, full of change and mysteries ahead, has for me become just another moment in this current moment in the life of this nation, as scary, not romantic, but a bit ravenous. And once again I worry.

Dumb hires dumber

 Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy on Tuesday said President Trump tapped her husband, Sean Duffy, to be Transportation secretary “because that was all that’s left.” “He said he wanted to serve the president in any way,” Campos-Duffy said. “He ended up in Transportation because that was all that’s left.” Duffy is a former Fox News host. There are a plethora of really inadequate people serving in King Trump’s Cabinet, and if you have read the headlines, almost each and every one of his dumb a dirt selections have tried to out dumb one another. Some of the Cabinet picks were people who gave Trump and his PACS tons of millions of dollars; a very few were provided to Trump by the Heritage Foundation to promote their plans to Christianize the American government; and then we have the selection of the clowns who served as the dupes on the FOX Network.

Sean Duffy makes Pete Hegseth, another former FOX entertainer, seem smart, savvy, and sure-footed. Sean has spent our taxpayer money to film a reality show of him and his family traveling the United States because, of course, he is the Transportation Secretary, and for him it makes more sense to transport himself, once again using our money, rather than using our taxpayer dollars for things like improving infrastructure and rebuilding roads and highways damaged by Mother Nature.

Now, remember this: people like Sean Duffy could not have been given the power to fuck things up for the rest of us if the Republican Majority in the Senate actually gave a fuck about what is better for the people of this nation rather than what was in their best personal interests in doing the bidding of another dumb as shit person, Trump!

He hates poor kids

 Trump is waging a war on America's children — and he's winning. I often wonder and am aghast at the inability of the people living in poverty who proudly claim that they are MAGA. They purchase the Red Hats, buy into the hate, and somehow think that if you are not a person of color, then somehow your own poverty is not the same as those you consider the other! Statistics have proven that a high percentage of Caucasians suffer the same ills as those who are not Caucasian and somehow lack the ability to introspect. It is as if being a racist or bigot will provide some kind of protective shield against the rust and ruin of poverty.

Trump and his Reich pretended to be Populists, advertising him as a man of the people. And if the people who voted for him, find him a cult leader or a golden calf, had the ability to look beyond their own insecurities, they would discover that this billionaire, is only out to be popular for his friends and family!

Bone Spurs at it again

Oh yeah, and we, the taxpayers, still don’t know the final cost of this, and who, actually, in the end will pay to stroke Trump’s ego.

But Trump’s distaste and hate for the military should come as no surprise, because just recently he said: Trump Makes Jaw-Dropping Insult to the Dead of His Own War. President Donald Trump has dismissed his war in Iran, in which 18 U.S. service members have been killed, as “small potatoes for us.” The president, 80, was taking questions in the Oval Office on Friday when he was asked how he would describe the conflict with Iran. And remember this: Donald Trump reportedly made disparaging remarks about dead soldiers and those who were captured during his presidency, including calling fallen soldiers "losers" and "suckers" in 2018. (PBS)

Bone Spurs Donnie, the rich coward, has made it very clear that the Military is beneath him, that they are nothing but a bunch of lower forms of life. He, I believe, considers them to be like a box of plastic soldiers that he can play the game of “war” with. He is the Commander-In-Chief, and as the Commander, Emperor, and King, I believe he believes that the lives of His soldiers are meaningless. Talk about red, white, and blue! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He doesn't care

I read this entire article, and the one sentence that truly frightened me was “…the president deploying a nuclear weapon in a fit of rage but not really understanding the absolute devastation it would cause.” For me, this sentence sums up the entire actions, decisions, and intentions of Trump, by Trump and for Trump. The man is too mentally unstable to understand that there are consequences for his behavior. Mainly, I believe this because he has seldom had to own up to his negative personality.

Trump is dangerous. He is stupid; he is selfish, self-serving, greedy, gluttonous, insecure, unable to understand, let alone discern wrong from right, good from bad. And if we look at Trump’s life experiences, this monster has hardly ever been held accountable in a legal way, a moral way, or an ethical way.

Perhaps if he were anyone else but the President of the United States, surrounded by lackeys and lemmings, a Mob Boss, Trump might face the consequences of his actions, but to this moment in his life, very few people with the power to rein in his terror have done so.

Imagine this: this moron’s ego gets hurt- really hurt- and his first reaction is to “get even,” reacting without thinking about his actions, and, in his mode of revenge, he acts to drop an atomic bomb! Far-fetched? Am I suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome? Am I full of hyperbole? Look closely at each and every perverted Executive Decision he has enacted; think for a few seconds…

Interesting, ain’t it, that now, just a few months before the Mid-Terms, that Heir Trump and his cadre of “Brown-shirted, White hooded, Red Capped, Nazi’s present their newest attempt to bring back his base, who just love their segregation, with a large touch of American Christian Nationalism. 

Just as some of the MAGA base seemed hesitant to continue bending at the knee of their Golden Idol, Trump, the sadomasochistic sycophants have brewed a plan to keep hate alive in America, and loudly and proudly are insisting that the white population is truly suffering from the Liberal propaganda of inclusion.

One interesting sidebar, as I see it, is the folks so involved in keeping anyone who isn’t white as The Other. Today we have the Secretary of the Treasury, Scottie Bessent, proclaiming that if any college dares not follow the principles of the Confederacy, they will be punished…I find it quite appalling that a Gay man has no problem denying other people their rights. I suppose because Scotty is white and a billionaire in his own right, he supposes that in the land of Christian Nationalism and White Supremacy he is welcomed. Oh dear, Ms. Thing!

 

 

A name is a name...or is it!

 Trump suggests renaming the Strait of Hormuz after himself, causing fresh trouble for the GOP. The president’s effort to rename Lake Ontario was not popular. He’s nevertheless already eyeing a rebrand for yet another waterway. (Maddow Blog).

In a normal world, aka a world without Trump as President, and not having Republicans in the majority, kowtowing and bending at the knee for every whim and wasteful wish projecting out of any of the Trump orifices, we would be in shock and awe, to have the President of the United States, in the middle of a war he started, ignore the death and destruction, the affordability issues he created, and somehow decide that his ego needs a little more soothing, by naming a foreign part of the world after himself. (Wow, that one very long sentence).

But when the President is a mentally ill person suffering the dire consequences of being a malignant narcissist, and this President believes that he and only he is King of the World, and the same aforementioned person surrounds himself with eunuchs, headlines like renaming the Strait of Hormuz after himself are sadly just another day in the life of Americans. 

It was a war, then it was not a war, then it was, as Trump stated, just “an excursion”, then it had a wham bam no thank you name, Operation Epic Fury. It was indeed an epic mistake, and the Fury somehow has lasted since February 28, 2026, so its fury has just evaporated! 

As pathetic as it seems, for Trump to even consider out loud the name change, what should really be worrisome is the fact that this idea is even being considered, and NO consideration is being given to ending this Trump-Iran War at all. And even worse, is the fact that now that Congress is back from yet another vacation, no one with the power to stop this madness seems to be making an attempt to do so!

 

 

 

some DEFIANCE!

 There is a plethora of angsty, sad, sickening, sobering, and downright “just how fucked up as a nation we have become stories for me to rant and rave about as I write my blog. I mean: Senator Mitch McConnell was hospitalized on June 14, 2026, and as of September 1, 2026, it has been 78 days since his hospitalization. (PBS), The Iran war began on February 28, 2026, and is ongoing as of August 24, 2026, making it approximately 178 days long. (PBS), The Epstein Files Transparency Act required the Department of Justice to release all files within 30 days of its enactment on November 19, 2025, which means the deadline was December 19, 2025. As of today, September 1, 2026, it has been over 255 days since that deadline (Britannica)…just to name a few.

But as I ponder and worry, feeling the pit of “that is just not right”, pain in my gut gets worse and worse, wondering if there will actually be free and fair Midterms, if Trump will try to invade Canada, concerned about Trump’s love affair with Putin, and Trump’s lack of love for anything that has to do with domestic health and welfare, I came across a very hopeful headline, which at first seems a bit whimsical, but once I read the article, it became a much needed act of DEFIANCE, against the absurdity that is, in fact, so Trumpian.

The mere fact that the art of denying Trump the last word is lost is not good enough for me. So when a person or entity actually says NO, no matter how small a gesture it may be, I find a ray of hope. Imagine if the Supreme Court, or the Congress of the United States, finally said No, you are a crazy person, and not only crazy but wrong.

The Republicans are very bad for America, but they are also very good at doing everything they can to divide, scapegoat, create enemies, and hate. Knowing that, by most estimates, the Republicans cannot win elections if it is a fair and equal playing field, the Grand Old Party has discovered the very useful and deceptive term of THE OTHER.

The devious Republicans have fine-tuned the art of looking over there to keep their horde of racists, bigots, antisemites, homophobes, and misogynists too occupied hating rather than have any of these cultists actually examine how they have been fucked over by the Republican Party.

Trump administration wants Supreme Court permission to ban transgender military members. (MS NOW). Currently, it is hating the trans community, and while you hate them, don’t forget to be on the lookout for the immigrant, especially if they have brown skin. Never forget that women are a little too bossy and need to be reminded to be subservient. Keep in mind that black folk might become too uppity, that Muslims want to burn down the Christian churches, and, for shits and giggles, remember that Canadians really do hate America.

The one lesson the Republicans seem to rely on is that hate and loathing can win votes. Fear will bring out the masses, and the masses, according to Republicans, are too petty, too stupid, too ignorant to ever realize that they are the ones being screwed!

Darline Graham and the Dark Ages

Ms. Lindsey Graham’s sister, Darline, when she became a Trump/MAGA candidate for the South Carolina Senate primary, dropped her married name and decided that some South Carolinians might still think her brother was running for office. This person’s only qualification for the job was her last name, so why not make the best of it?

I digress; this blog is not nepotism, nor the sheer lunacy of Republican/MAGA voters of South Carolina, but of a more concerning commonality which oozes from within the depths and depravity of anyone wearing a Red Hat, a White Sheet, or a Brown Shirt. It is the idea that even though they insist they are the Party of Life, most too many of their policies deal with dying, a slow, awful, and tiresome death.

Ms. Graham, no, not Lindsey, but his sister, pontificates about guns somehow being holy and increasing our likelihood of living longer, living long enough so she says that you can actually work until the day you die. Government health care, she proudly pumps her bosomed chest, is just a ploy to make you lazy and makes you more Un-American. Abortion is bad because somehow her God will become angry, so have that kid, but make sure that when it is born, you do not have the money to pay for the child’s health care.

Normally I would say, well, South Carolina Republicans, you reap what you sow, and by voting for this insincere, your life is here on Earth just work and work and work, so be it, but here is the problem: if Darline wins her election in November, she will be one more vote to try and end Medicare, Medicaid, and medical care. One more vote to help America fall back to the days of the Dark Ages

 

  

UNREQUITTED LOVE

For this group of ass licking, spineless sycophants, if you have the audacity to actually be anti-corruption, anti-criminal, and actually have a conscience, fighting back against Trump, you are suffering from some form of mental infirmity!

But lo and behold, wham bam thank you ma’am, the real injured folks are those who have placed Trump upon a golden calf, those who have willingly taken kickbacks and paid bribes to Trump, and those whose sense of honor is to prioritize devotion to Trump to make more profit for themselves.

But when it comes down to it, the one douchebag who suffers the greatest from Trump Derangement Syndrome is Donald Trump himself. He is such a sad, sick, malignant narcissist that he is unable to see the truth, incapable of any thought less than total adoration for himself, and is so blinded by the false prophets around him as to not see anything that is real.

As this article states, Trump believes that the whole world of Republicans and MAGA is nothing but devotion, appreciation, and love for Donald, and somehow, if his PEOPLE don’t do so, they are the sorry ones. And so far, Republicans and MAGA in Congress, sitting as Judges, and red-state officials have done nothing to show that Trump is wrong to believe this.

And now, because no one has ever told the Emperor that indeed he has no clothes, the Emperor demands from his cultists UNREQUITTED LOVE!

 

 

More for the Cult

 ICE is arresting soaring numbers of immigrants with no criminal record. Federal immigration officers are shifting their targets and tactics to increase arrests. More than half of those detained last month had no criminal record. (The Washington Post)

This headline is very troubling for me. The first obvious reason is the mere idea that the Trump/Stephen Miller Gestapo has now decided to pick and choose anyone they so desire to arrest and place them in America’s Concentration Camps. At the whim of the ICE Brown Shirts, without any real reason or rhyme, anyone with brown skin can easily be whisked away and, sadly, almost never be seen again. This is happening in America in 2026, and so far, all we seem to do is watch, wait, and worry!

It seems to me that there is another reason why there is suddenly a major uptick in kidnapping people in America by the Fascist Government run and ruled by Trump: once again, the Trump Reich is playing one of their “look over there” tactics. The Trump Iran War is lingering and lingering on; prices are rising; affordability is unattainable, the polling numbers for Trump are dismal, so, as I see it, the Trump Reichstadt, needs to try and lure his racists and bigots back into the cult, and the best way to do is to gather up the brown skinned people, to prove that Trump and his gang of goons can MAKE AMERICA WHITE AGAIN!

The MAGA crowd loves to watch the OTHER become the scapegoat; Trump and his Fascists know that if the MAGA is busy hating on the OTHER, then they will be too preoccupied to realize that, in reality, they are the OTHER, and that they too are being raped and pillaged. Keep the dumb mesmerized by their own hateful ways; thus, they will not realize they are the ones being fucked!

Anyone with intelligence, awareness, and a conscience want to argue with this? You may be miffed, you may have a pain in your gut, you may want to scream, but even so, once you have experienced all of that, look closely at all of the crimes, corruption, felonies, farces, and fuck ups, created by Trump, and so far, very little to no consequences coming his way.

The Supreme Court has granted Trump almost total immunity for his illegal and unConstitional actions; the spineless, lacking backbones and balls, Republican majority cowers in the corners and has not applied stopgap actions, and for the most part, most of the Media placates Trump for fear that they may not be invited to the Oval Office!

Trump has a track record of destroying our country, and the same statistics apply to destroying any other nation he deems bad for his ego. No one in the Trump Reich dares to try to stop him; Republicans prefer their professional power over the power for the people, and with a few lower-court judges actually demonstrating legal courage, Trump has had easy access to destroy anything he touches.

I believe that whatever percentage of Tech Bros and Billionaires who support MAGA have zero conscience and only thrive on greed and gluttony, they may or may not be bigots or racists, because all they are focused on is their bottom line, and they seem to be willing to partake in any action that may fuck over anyone who is not them. And I wholeheartedly believe that a very, very large percentage of MAGA are, to put it precisely, DUMB AS DIRT!  For example:

And it is not just the blatant disregard for education; nope, these same MAGA morons seem to believe that if you use the word America in a sentence, then somehow you are the essence of Patriotism. And once again the Trump Reich knows how to play these MAGA morons as major fools.

Nothing screams Pro-Life like giving the great KABOOM to proven medical advice and procedures. I wonder: did Governor DeSantis and his wife, when they were young, receive the childhood immunizations? Of course they did; otherwise, they wouldn’t be alive, or at least well enough to support the death and destruction of children.

Now, read the fine print of this news, VERY CLEARLY, because this new premeditated murder decree from DeSantis and his so-called Surgeon General ONLY states that public School children will not be required to be fully immunized, as in, not those Floridians who can afford private school.  During that time, Congress has spent 107 legislative days in session as of August 26, 2026. They receive a paycheck no matter what: whether they work, are on vacation, or decide to close up shop so as not to get in the way of Trump.

Donald Trump has played golf for 125 days during his second term as president, which accounts for approximately 21.5% of his time in office. (trumpgolftracker.net).

The Congress, under the leadership of the Republican majority, has only been in session; doing the math, Congress has only been in session 89 days more than Trump has played golf.

Gasoline prices are still high, tariffs are still a priority with Trump, and those who have received money back from any tariff considered illegal have been Corporations, who can now double-dip by passing on the cost of tariffs while also getting money back from the government and still charging consumers higher prices.

Floods, fires, drought, have been severe in this nation and most blue states, and now a whole lot of red states are still waiting for government assistance; however, there seems to be enough money to pay for the Reflecting Pool, the Ballroom, renovating golf courses in Washington DC, gold plated arches in DC, and of course renovations of the Qatari bribe, oops I mean plane given to Trump. 

There is so much more, BY THE WAY, but as I sit here and wonder and worry, as I write my blog, I thought I might mention these glaring truths. And I beg the question, truly, I do ask out loud, what the fuck can I, you, us do about any of this?

Back to school- oh, the memories, not only mine a million years ago, but the times when my children were of school age. It seemed as a given, by my parents and to me, that vaccinations, inoculations, and basic matters of medicine were non-controversial, vis-à-vis the mere fact that we, as parents, were able to become parents and remain alive because we as parents had been given the same medications that we were expected to provide for our children! There was no conspiracy, there was no mystery, but there were reasons, rhymes, and real science to provide the answers.

I wish I could be amazed and surprised that the people who usually vote Republican, because they pretend to be Pro-Life, are the same individuals who are doing everything in their power to end life!

We are told that private companies will help pay for this Trump ego display, just like we had been informed that private money was going to pay for the Great State Fair, the MMA bout, the Reflecting Pool, and of course the Ballroom, but the evidence has proven that most of the cost of these “let them eat cake” activities by Trump have been and continue to be dumped in the pockets of the American taxpayer.

As a Democrat, I worry about Democrats

 I have been concerned, perhaps the better word is WORRIED, regarding the upcoming midterm elections. Let me begin this dissertation by stating that I was born into a Democrat family and grew up on Democrat policies and talking points, even before I could vote myself! I have lived a political life preferring progressive ideas, liberal leanings, and choosing candidates who prioritized the people. 

This year in particular, this election, this midterm, as I see it, will either permit the beginning of the end for the Trump/MAGA/Republican Fascist direction for our country, or if the Blue Wave does not materialize at all, as I see it, there is no future of our nation, just authoritarian governance based on fear, loathing, corruption, and criminality.

That is why, as a Democrat, when I read headlines like the following, I begin to wonder: will it actually be the attempts by Trump and his Reichstadt, or actual actions by my fellow Democrat voters, to deny a Blue Wave from ever forming?

A progressive scored an unexpected upset in Florida’s Democratic primary for Senate, a left-wing breakthrough in President Trump’s home state that tees up a tough, GOP-favored fight this fall. (The Hill).

Come on, Democrats, stop for a moment and consider what I believe to be some hard facts. Yes, it might feel good right now to show the nation that we are progressive in our thinking. Yes, it seems delightful to fight the system. Yes, it is enticing to elect those who seek and want change…but will the Independent voter, the anti-Trump voter, actually support a far-left-of-center candidate…and if they do not, what EXACTLY have we, the Democrats, done to regain power?

I must wonder, and worry, that as much as we want change, this year, this election, perhaps we should spend more time on becoming the majority party in Congress and less time showing the nation how angry we are with the status quo. I believe we must first find candidates who will appeal more to the center, so we can build a foundation where, in 2028, we CAN make the change we seek permanent!

We have Trump’s personal attorney, Todd Blanche, as head of the DOJ, a man who has made it very clear that his allegiance is with Trump. Blanche’s continuous support for the criminal actions of ICE, his lack of following the direction from Congress to release ALL of the Epstein Files, and his inability to put anything in writing to demonstrate his priority to the people of this nation raise HUGE RED FLAGS for anyone who is still concerned about our free and fair elections.

There may be sightings of a huge blue wave in November of 2026, but when the number one priority of the Trump Reich is to keep Trump as King, watch out for all of the illegal floodgates to rise and turn back the blue tide.

Uh-huh, once again Trump’s sick, sad ego, generated by his sick, sad malignant narcissism, is the priority for Trump in deciding the future of Democracy in South Korea and, for that matter, perhaps all of our allies in the Pacific. 

South Korea did not come to help Trump climb out of his own ass during the Trump/Iran War, so now, because Donnie’s pride is hurt, he has decided to play cards with his newest soul mate, the dictator Kim Jong Un. It doesn’t matter if the North Koreans have been threatening the world with their nuclear program, or that human rights are nonexistent; nope, if you ever cross Donnie, you get screwed.

And, like the situation with our other ally, Oman, South Korea will suffer the consequences of trying to do the right thing, but will suffer because they chose not to do the Trump thing. And once again, there will be no Republican in Congress brave enough to tell Trump to shut the fuck up!

But recently, my list has been placing the “RIGHT IN YOUR FACE” corruption and contempt for laws as a priority among crimes committed. There is no longer any reason to hide anything from public view, because there is no longer any guardrail of “checks and balances” in place to stop the Trump Crime Family and his Mobsters of Donors and billionaires from breaking the law.

It seems that when you agreed to work for Trump, you agreed to kiss his ring, his ass, and to become just one more robber baron, reaping the rewards of snake oil, con, conspiracy, and taxpayers' money. 

There is no Congress to stop you, there is no DOJ to stop you, and most of the time there is no majority within the Supreme Court to stop you. The MAGA have no idea that the wealthy for whom they have sworn allegiance continue to walk around with “kick me I am with stupid” T-shirts, and for the most part, one more new corrupt action by Trump, the Trump Family, and the members of the Trump Reich no longer attracts media attention because there are too many, and they are overwhelming.

These self-supposed dudes have attracted an audience of self-loathing boys and men, who seem to believe that being masculine means trafficking, raping, harming, and degrading girls and women. These boys and men, who have placed the Tate criminals as idols, I would guess, have been raised by a large percentage of heterosexual couples. Barron Trump calls these brothers cool and has turned to them as role models. The Attorney for the Tates said that if the judge does not dismiss the charges against these men, he will go immediately to Marco Rubio and Donald Trump to intervene.

Very, very few Republicans in Congress have come forward to call out this heinous and insidious behavior…that is about the same number of Republicans who have come forward still demanding that the Epstein Files, in total, be released.

 Just when I think the craziness and delusion have peaked and there can be no more room for the insane or madness, I am rebuked by the newest actions of one of the most dangerous men on the planet, Trump!

The war, which was to be won in a month, give or take a few weeks; the war, which became a skirmish, or as Trump put it, an “excursion,” the Trump War, supported by one of the most inadequate and moronic Secretaries of Defense, Pistol Pete Hegseth, rages on and on and on. 

There is NO THERE, THERE, there is no long-term planning; there is only pain and suffering, and the steady pounding of Trump’s sick, sad, narcissistic ego, pretending that the War in Iran has been won, the Iranians have been defeated, and that the US can and will do as it wishes regarding the Strait of Hormuz. And because there is NO ONE identified as either a Republican or a member of the Trump Reich who dares to inform the demented Don about the truth, this idiot continues to provide a reality that he, and only he, lives in.

No snark, as I write this sentence, but seriously, how much longer can those in power permit this Twilight Zone mentality to continue without strongly intervening and taking control?

 

 

 

 

It is now 164 days later...

 ‘The boat is finally getting to me’: Wife of USS Lincoln sailor who jumped overboard shares texts. The sailor’s wife told MS NOW her husband expressed his mental health concerns to leadership during his long deployment on the aircraft carrier in the Iran war, but was brushed off.

Many family members are concerned about potential exhaustion, low morale and the mental health of those onboard, as the aircraft carrier’s deployment at sea appears to have been extended twice during the ongoing Iran war, with no clear end in sight. (MS NOW).

One more disgusting consequence is having two men who feel emasculated, who prefer to act as a superhero, who know nothing about the science behind the military, and who hide behind their delusional definition of masculinity. 

Demented Don and Pistol Pete declared war on Iran, with “bone spur” Trump proudly telling the American public that this war will only take a few weeks to be over, and everyone in America will be thankful for the military actions approved by President Donald J. Trump! Pistol Pete, huffing and puffing his alcoholic chest, with the vilest bravado an insecure male could muster, insisted that no one could match the power and might of the U.S. military.

Then the war was over, and when it wasn’t over, it was no longer a war. The US Senate, made up of a majority of spineless men and a few women who, if they had balls, lost them and were more fearful of Trump and the MAGA morons, most of whom have not enlisted, agreed that since it was not a war anymore, they, as Senators, really had no privilege to hold Trump, Rubio, and Hegseth accountable.

No mental health care, weak Wi-Fi, horrible conditions in the kitchen, and all Pistol Pete has offered is shots of testosterone. And as this horrible saga is happening, the people, as in the Senate; who could actually intervene, are not at work, nope, they needed an August recess.

The silence from the Republican leadership and a majority of the Republican politicians regarding the heinous, insidious, evil, and brutal actions of Max Miller toward his wife and child is deafening. Their outrage, their usual “tar and feather” approach, seems purposely muted and muffled. Why? Easy, as I see it… If Trump can be a slime and sleaze, so can any Republican, and oh, yeah, keeping their majority no matter how immoral or inhumane the action may be is an Oath one must keep as a member of MAGA.

AND THEN WE HAVE THIS REPUBLICAN DOUBLE STANDARD: Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) — a MAGA congresswoman who has repeatedly accused LGBTQ+ people and their supporters of “grooming” children for sexual abuse — has a 21-year-old son who, as of today, has been charged with three felony counts related to sexual exploitation of a child. (LGBTQ Nation).

BOEBERT is always on stage performing her “I am a Nationalist Christian,” and only I have the capacity to know right from wrong, good from evil, and how children should be raised. She loves pointing her hypocritical fingers at anyone she deems conveniently a great scapegoat to keep her own vile MAGA followers happy. “Look over there,” she definitely screams and shouts, all the while paying more attention to everyone else's life and ignoring her own life and the lives of her family.

This is not the first time her son has committed crimes that are egregious and immoral, but BOEBERT has no incentive to pay him any attention because, like way too many other Republicans, her political career is a priority, and calling out others is what makes her happiest!

Wayne Allyn Root is probably not well known, but Donald Trump certainly knows who he is. In fact, seven years ago this month, Root, a far-right radio host and conspiracy theorist, claimed that Israeli Jews view Trump as the “second coming of God.”

Root: You have the right to declare a national security emergency for elections. If you do this in the next month, we will get photo ID, proof of citizenship, and a limit to mail-in ballots…

Prison time, maybe impeachment, paying out millions of dollars he and his family have stolen, returning gifts given to him by heads of state trying their hardest to bribe him, and alas alack no longer being a The King of the United States…these, ALL of these and probably some I have not even thought of are finding refuge in the space of Trumps brain that is not already infected and rotting from dementia and disease.

Trump acts as if any or all of his selfish and self-serving actions and intentions will not interfere with the Republicans maintaining their majority in Congress. He even brags aloud that he is not concerned with the Republican problems caused and created by Trump.

Paranoid, narcissistic, crime-ridden, and corrupt, the one thing that Trump does understand is that he must maintain his power, and Trump will, I believe, with the assistance of his Reich of helpers who hate America, hate Democracy, and despise our Constitution, do whatever he must to void out the upcoming Midterm elections.

Trump lies about almost everything, but the one thing he cannot lie about is his need to project his upcoming scheme of cringe and corruption. The writing has been on the wall; why does it seem so many in Washington seem to ignore reading it?

Move over measles and diarrhea; here come some once-upon-a-time diseases to make life even more miserable for the newest citizens of the United States. With Trump and Junior, you just can’t have enough diseases roaming free.

Regarding the current GOLF Outings by the wartime President, it seems that F-16 jets are flying over his golf courses. Seems Trump has lots of free time to play golf, while he argues that affordability is just a WOKE word. Wonder how much it costs the taxpayer for his Secret Service escort to play golf, and how really expensive it is to have F-16s flying overhead. Guess you can’t play golf in a White House Ballroom!

Trump amplifies message labeling GOP’s Murkowski a ‘traitor’ following Blanche vote. I’m hard pressed to imagine what the president thinks he’ll gain from going after a sitting senator from his own party in such a needlessly aggressive way. (MS NOW).

So, if this Senator is considered a traitor for not providing Trump’s personal lawyer to become Attorney General, then we must say that, in turn, those who voted for Blanche are considered Pedophile Protectors. Seems legit to me.

Oh, and have you noticed that Trump hasn’t called Susie (I am always concerned) Collins a traitor for not voting in a Pedophile Protector? I imagine it is because the GOP boys and girls in the Senate realized that Susie is up for re-election in a state where she is not so popular. So, I believe a deal was made for Susie to vote no, while paying off the three GOP Senators, Cornyn, Tillis, and the ever placid Cassidy.

Trump, three times today. Has zero care for the health and welfare and future of children, uses taxpayer dollars as if that bit of cash was his personal account, and hates anyone who dares decry Donnie’s pedophilia!
