Of course, there was a double standard response from the Felon/Rapist/Russian Asset/Pedophile…Trump is wise enough to understand he must feed his horde of racists, homophobes, misogynists, and xenophobes lies, fear, and loathing. These Christian Nationalist Fascists thrive on division, creating enemies, and calling out the OTHER. And Trump understands that the only way he will finally become Dictator in Chief is to sow as much hate as possible.

The Republican ass lickers pretend that they are the oppressed, that what they say and do is being misconstrued by the left, the progressives, and now the so-called Communists. The MAGA love to pretend they are the victim and the Democrats the bullies…and whenever the Republican/MAGA/Fascists are found guilty of their hateful and un-American acts, they cry foul.

How that might translate into policy has remained unclear, as the president and his aides have spent part of the last two days grieving while strategizing their next steps.

Conveniently or by coincidence, Trump is now ready to deploy his next tactic of inciting a Civil War in America, by politicizing the military even more, to eliminate the freedoms of citizens, and to not only wound democracy, but to kneecap its already unsteady balance, and to become the DICTATOR he has always imagined himself to be. 

He may use the term radical left, but his actual plan is to eliminate and possibly displace the Democrat party. No need to worry about the next election, because declaring war NOW will easily wipe away any ballots cast by anyone favoring the Democratic Party.

Projecting exactly what the right has done and is doing, against liberties and freedoms, Trump is playing the victim game, and his army of White Nationalists, January 6^th Neo Nazi’s, Racists, Christian Nationalists, at the ready, Trump is just about ready for the final conquest of our democracy.  How brilliant a move. Let’s get into conspiracy mode, and approach this latest murder by use of a gun as do the ever-ready to point fingers at anyone else but themselves, Republican hypocrites.

Charlie Kirk demanded the release of the Epstein files, but after a brief conversation, I am certain that with his dear Leader Trump, he walked back his demand; however, he did continue to tell his racist, anti-Semitic, misogynist transphobes that they should still demand the tapes. Supposedly, this bigot and Nationalist Christian, white supremacy enemy of the state, has quite a following.

What we have from the FBI are the casing that, of course, were engraved with pro trans messages. The murderer has still not been found, but you can bet when he is apprehended, he will be shot, so there will be no response as to his political leanings. All of this as Trump is trying to hide from his pedophile entanglements with Epstein, all of this as Trump has provided fodder for a Civil War, all of this as Trump prepares for Martial Law, maybe before the Mid-Terms, or just perhaps before Congress can vote for supporting a predator or finding the truth.

Any wanna be authoritarian thrives on the concept of divide and conquer, them and us. It’s a kind of tactic the KGB would use in establishing who the enemy is and who the real Patriot is. Now we are going to be concentrating on villainizing anyone who is not a MAGA cultist. Now, with the assistance of the Media, we will somehow normalize the pure hatred and evil that people like Charlie Kirk thrive upon.   And  we, those of us who have empathy, who find equality a quality of America will be chastised, and I am certain hunted down.

24 years later

 September 11, 2001, I can remember where I was, what I felt, and just how terrified I had become, at first not knowing why, wondering where the next target would be, thinking about my family and friends, and anticipating horrors beyond imagination.

Was this the beginning of a war? I remember asking those around me. Has our government been destroyed? There was the stench of chaos, the acrid odor of paranoia, and the palpable thumping in my heart of helplessness.

And then as the endless hours rolled on and on and the news broadcasts became clearer and clearer, there was this din of death and destruction, an endless barrage of nightmarish videos haunting, horrific, and a rancid version of reality being showcased. 

Twenty-four years ago, our nation was attacked by a foreign menagerie of people who hated democracy and the principles of freedom, justice, liberty, choice, and justice. We vowed to unite to fight back, be strong, and unite. That was twenty-four years ago, and twenty-four years later we have headlines like this.

Divide and conquer, us versus them has been the theme at first by the Republican Party, which has morphed into the MAGA Party, which eventually will be called the Trump Party. People of color are not as equal as Caucasians…Homosexuals are not equal to Heterosexuals…Non-Christians are not equal to Christian Nationalists…Women are not equal to Men…Poor people are not equal to Billionaires. 

Trump has trained his cultists and the army of Republican politicians (more concerned about their own futures than those of their constituents) to act as the bully and find strength in victimizing anyone else who is not them.
