 Texas Gov. Greg Abbott wants to undo the guilty verdict of a white army sergeant who fatally shot a Black Lives Matter protester back in 2020, according to USA TODAY. Though the jury found the man guilty as charged, Abbott said he plans to pardon him based on the state’s “Stand Your Ground” law. (The ROOT)

Texas begat George W. Bush as Governor, who begat Rock Perry as Governor, who begat Greg Abbott as Governor. As far as I am concerned, all three are prime examples of how voter restriction, voter bigotry, voter gerrymandering, and voter stupidity begat nothing but BOGUS idiots, whose only claim to fame is to make themselves famous, wealthy, and powerful.

 

I tend to think that Greg Abbott is doing one of a few things, as he overrides a Jury’s decision regarding a murderer. Greg is auditioning for the role of VP for TRUMP. Greg is silently waiting to announce a run for President, knowing full well, that what will get him the GOP nomination is to go as low as you, and if he goes lower than DeSantis or Trump (unimaginable how low that will take him), he will be a shoo-in. Or maybe Greg just craves more 15 minutes of shame.

 

It seems that Justice/Honor/Law are no longer words regarded with any respect by the Republicans. Pro-Life only remains for the Fetus. The Constitution only contains the Second Amendment. And Snake Oil is served on a daily basis.

Justice Thomas Says He Was Advised Lavish Gifts Did Not Need to Be Reported In a statement, the justice said that he had followed past guidance from others at the court, but that he would now comply with new guidelines and disclose gifts and free travel. (This excuse is like saying the DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK). Of course you have the PREMIERE sack of lying shit, TRUMP, who is just appalled that his bribes and payoffs were legit, and he was trying to save his marriage.

 

And then one need only go to the tapes of the MAGA/TRUMP/Republicans trying to murder police, attacking police, and threatening with bodily harm, POLICE, during the January 6^th Insurrection.  Then go no further then to Texas, where the slimy sack of shit Governor, Gov. Greg Abbott backs call for pardon for Daniel Perry, who killed Austin protester in 2020 The governor says he asked the Board of Pardons and Paroles to expedite review, recommend clemency one day after Perry was convicted of murder.

 

These are just a bunch of recent examples, Democrat Politicians and those very expensive talking Heads you hire. Silence is NOT GOLDEN. Silence EQUALS DEATH. You know how quickly and fastidiously the Republicans would be forcing jail time, resignations, and impeachments if any of the above were ignited by a Democrat. Day After Tomorrow People of Color

 To my friends who happen to not be Caucasian. To my Family members who happen to not be White. To the individuals, I know and do not know, who happen to be born, and now identified as People Of Color. I SAY that we have come face to face with THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW. And hoping and wishing this was not so, is not a hope but a delusion. This delusion is predicated on nothing but the poison of bigotry, bias bogus, and bullshit! THIS, however, CANNOT BE TOO LATE TO FINALLY FIGHT BACK.

 Among all the bombshell moments of the expulsion hearings of the three lawmakers now known as the Tennessee Three, former Rep. Justin Jones, D-Nashville, comment about an “admitted child molester” in the House raised a lot of eyebrows.

“For years, one of your colleagues, an admitted child molester, sat in this chamber. No expulsion,” Jones said.

Jones was referring to former Rep. David Byrd, R-Waynesboro.

 

A series of WSMV4 Investigations revealed that three women accuse Byrd of sexual misconduct when they were teenagers and he was their basketball coach. First reported by former WSMV4 investigative reporter Alanna Autler, one of the women, Christie Rice, made a recording of her conversation with Byrd, where he apologized profusely, but never said what exact for. “But I hope you believe me when I say that it’s one of those things that I think about it all the time, and I always ask forgiveness for it and I hope you forgive me,” Byrd said in the recording. A series of WSMV4 Investigation then revealed that Michael Edwards, the boys’ basketball coach at the time Byrd was coaching the girls, said that Byrd admitted to him more than 30 years ago that he was inappropriate with a student inside the school.

 

Rep. Gloria Johnson, D-Knoxville, then filed a motion to expel Byrd from the House, writing that “disorderly behavior as described by credible victims in multiple reports.” The motion was ultimately moved to a subcommittee and was never re-introduced. (WSMV 4, Nashville)

 

 But the Tennessee Trump Republicans expelled state representatives, Justin Jones and Justin Pearson, because they participated in a peaceful protest against GUN VIOLENCE and the murder of children.  Two Black legislators, trying to save the lives of children. But one White legislator an admitted child molester ruining the lives of children is fine and dandy to have remained in office. Nah, Nope, Nada, DO NOT TELL ME THIS IS NOT BLATANT RACISM, based on anything but RACISM!

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas said Friday he had been advised “by colleagues and others in the judiciary” that luxury trips financed by a close billionaire friend and conservative activist should be considered personal hospitality that did not have to be disclosed. (Washington Post)

 

Thomas was certain that Roe V. Wade was unconstitutional. Women had no jurisdiction over their own bodies. Thomas was certain that same-sex marriages were not constitutional. Love is not love when it is of the same sex. He was CERTAIN and FRORCEFUL, and PREJUDICED.

 

BUT somehow, he now says, he had been advised “by colleagues and others in the judiciary” that his UNETHICAL machinations were OKAY. And he is a Supreme Court Justice, serving a lifetime term.

 

How do we the people end this CRIMINAL’S free reign continue. He and his wife Ginni are making a mockery of law and order, justice, and the Constitution. ENOUGH is ENOUGH!
