 3 states pass major gun control reform packages:

Governors in two states passed major gun control legislation this week and a third is poised to do the same soon.

On Friday, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis signed the legislative package that included a longer waiting period for firearm sales, and an increase in the minimum age to purchase a gun.

Colorado's move came three days after Washington state became the 10th state in the nation to ban assault rifles and handguns after Gov. Jay Inslee signed a gun reform package.

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore told reporters this week that he will sign a gun control package that includes prohibitions for civilian gun owners to bring their guns to schools and other sensitive locations. (ABC NEWS)

 

For all of those RED MAGA SAD REPUBLICAN BANANA REPUBLIC STATES, pontificating about zero tolerance for women’s reproductive rights, screaming about Trans people, wringing their fingers regarding Drag Shows, demanding that their Second Amendment rights are the only thing that makes sense in the US Constitution…TEN BLUE STATES have just demonstrated the definition of Pro-Life, as in not murdering innocents by using weapons of mass assault.

In Amerika, more than ever, since the Trump Putin-inspired Regime, we have been erecting a myriad of walls. Be it Trump's Mexican Border Wall, to the Gerrymandered Red State’s Legislatures, Banning Books/Drag Queens/Trans Kid/Voting Restrictions/Anti-Immigrant Legislation/Homophobia/Anti-Semitism.

 

The one wall however which is being torn down, is the Constitutional Divide between Church and State. Thanks to the rise of American Christian Nationalism, or as I see it Christian Fascism, the wall which once guaranteed this Democracy a FREEDOM FROM RELIGION and RELIGIOUS PROSECUTION has been, with great zealotry had torn down. Walls torn down by the American Christian Fascists are actually letting the enemy into our place of employment, our medical offices our schools, our homes, and OUR FAMILIES!

How easy it is to PROCLAIM your undying love for Israel, assuming that EVERY JEW in the world certainly loves Israel, if indeed they want to remain a good Jew. Trump told Netanyahu that HE was almost the American Messiah when it came to Israel, loving that country even more than most American Jews do!

 

Among the many attributes in my life, I was raised Jewish, and still practice my religion. Luckily I have been to Israel 7 times in my life. I have friends and family in Israel, but I am an American. I do worry about Jews in MY country. The freedom of Israelis is important to me, but MY freedoms in MY country are MY priority! A 2017 LifeWay poll conducted in the United States found that 80% of evangelical Christians believed that the creation of Israel in 1948 was a fulfillment of biblical prophecy that would bring about Christ's return. Trump requires the dollars from the peons and peasants to remain rich. Cruz believes that cooperating in a Coup will provide him with enough Republicans to keep him rich. Graham will say anything, so his donors continue to keep him rich. McCarthy remains the key puppet for his Puppet Billionaire Puppet Masters to keep them rich.

 

Never is it about the welfare of the nation, but as I see it, ever since Reagan and his love of the rich, it is only about GLUTTONY/GREED/GRIFTING.

Clarence Thomas is not alone. Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch has also benefitted financially from parties with an interest in the high court's business while neglecting to disclose the relationship, growing concerns over corruption within the institution.

Politico reported on Tuesday that Gorsuch had been trying to sell a piece of land in Colorado for nearly two years before Brian Duffy -- the CEO of Greenberg Traurig, a law firm whose cases often find their way before the Supreme Court -- bought it on April 16, 2017.

 

Gorsuch noted on federal disclosure forms that he made between $250,001 and $500,000 on the sale. The forms included a space where Gorsuch could have disclosed the identity of the purchaser, but he left it blank. Politico notes that Greenberg Traurig has since had 22 cases come before the court, and that in the 12 instances in which Gorsuch's opinion was recorded, he sided with his benefactor's firm on eight of them -- including one that damaged the Clean Air Act. Imagine if you will, if the humble, you or I, just gave no shits about admitting the truth in front of a Judge. Imagine how quickly justified justice would be handed down, because the humble you or I, decided we were above the law, and that our interpretation of ethics, is just that, OUR INTERPRETATION!

 

GORSUCH/THOMAS, sit, for their entire lifetime, if they choose to do so, on the once profound, and pious Supreme Court. DICK Durbin, wtf

Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Dick Durbin, D-Ill., gave a curious response to that simple question on Sunday from NBC's Chuck Todd on "Meet the Press." The question followed recent reports of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ undisclosed financial ties to a GOP billionaire, which prompted Durbin to announce hearings into the high court’s low ethical standards.

 

Durbin told Todd that he assumed Thomas would ignore the committee's invitation, so he didn’t extend one. (MSNBC)

 

Spineless Democrat Senate Leadership. Cowards within the leadership of the Democrat Senate Majority. Democrat Leadership somehow leading with their asses or with their own heads up their asses. So far, at least to me, it seems that Dick Durbin is following in the dismal shadow of Chuck Schumer, in providing any fortitude to save Democracy from the Republicans/MAGA/ and the Right.

 

So Dick Durbin, just knew that Clarence Thomas would not accept a request to appear, so NO NEED TO EVEN TRY! How about a subpoena Dick Durbin, as in Clarence Thomas you must respond? Imagine, once the GOP regains the majority in the Senate, how easy it will find it to subpoena ANYONE!
