Hegseth is seriously considering reducing the rank of the top commanding generals at several top posts from four to three stars, and proposing a significant consolidation of the combatant commands, which are major regional headquarters focused on areas such as Africa, the Middle East and the Indo-Pacific, several officials familiar with that planning and speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive internal deliberations told The Post.

Dictators and their private collection of sycophants understand how important it is to rid themselves of any guardrails as they inch closer and closer to total authoritarianism. Thus far, Trump has eliminated the Congress’s powers by intimidating the weak kneed and spineless Republican Senators and Congress People, he has been embraced by the majority of the Heritage Foundation appointed Supreme Court puppets, he has bullied and most of the time tamed the free press from their freedom of speech (most of the CEO’s willing accomplices), and last but least he is making certain that what remains of the United States Military resurfaces as the Trump Troops.
And the kicker in all of the Fascist intentional behavior is just how quickly Trump has decided to use his Trump Troops on the American Public. To for, all of Trump’s ducks are in order for a big fat declaration of Martial Law, perhaps as soon as this November, but most definitely prior to November of 2026. It’s not paranoia on my part, albeit each and every day I feel the walls of democracy crashing in on me, it is not some Left Wing conspiracy…it is simply put, having read history books in which the facts they present haver always pointed to Trumps power grab as the beginning of the loss of freedoms, the loss of liberties, the loss of any form of Democracy!
