A war that we won, then one we didn’t quite win, but in reality we did win, but it depends on who defines the word winning, a war claiming the lives and welfare of way too many is still in process, and yet the people whose salaries are being paid by the taxpayers of America are nowhere to be seen, WORKING!
The Government is partially shut down; perhaps some people will get paid, perhaps not, depending on the lies the President tells. Gas prices have risen almost as fast as grocery prices, but not quite as high as health care costs, yet the people who were hired to handle these everyday concerns of American citizens and consumers, and who are still being paid by the American taxpayer, are on vacation. Yeah, they will pretend that what they are doing is working by holding town halls or meeting their constituents, but that is a bunch of bull shit.
Mike Johnson, to avoid the wrath of his Lord and Master, Trump told his House to stop working. Now I understand that the House of Representatives play by some archaic set of “Good Ole’ Boys’ rules, none of which is set in stone by the way, but one might imagine if life in the United States is at the edge of the Twilight Zone, and Too Fucked Up To Be Believed, one might hope that those in the House decided to call mutiny on Mike Johsnson and DEMAND that he open his House, so that real business, the business of the PEOPLE could be handled. One could hope, but this is the US Congress doing what they do best, which seems to be doing nothing at all!
