 Predicting two terms in the White House should he defeat Donald Trump for the Republican presidential nomination next year, Ron DeSantis said he would go on to “destroy leftism in this country”. “I will be able to destroy leftism in this country and leave woke ideology in the dustbin of history,” the Florida governor told Fox News. I am WOKE. Since the political rhetoric and terminology of being about freedoms/equality/democracy/fairness/empathy equate to being on the Left side of American politics, I am thus a LEFTIST. So, I must be a WOKE LEFTIST, when all along I just thought I was an American trying my best to pursue LIFE, LIBERTY, AND HAPPINESS, not just for my family and me but for all other citizens.

 

Women’s Reproductive Rights, by women and for women are to me, Basic Human Rights. Trans Rights, permitting the trans community to decide who they are internally, and externally, and to identify any which way they believe is who they truly are, are Basic Human Rights. Dress in Drag, be as beautiful or comical as you wish, Basic Human Rights. Your skin color should make no difference as does the color of your eyes, or hair, you were born that way, and you should be able to afford every and any opportunity, Basic Human Rights. Poverty, homelessness, if society has turned its back on your need to survive, it is society's responsibility to find the means to get you back to the normal requirements to live a good and fair life, Basic Human Rights. Religious, other than Evangelical Christian, or Christian, celebrate your God, but remember your God is just that, YOURS. Not religious, celebrate whatever it is in the Universe that brings you pleasure, Basic Human Rights. Pro-Life, then promotes all lives, provides education, health care, nutrition, shelter for all and equal opportunities for all, basic Human Rights.

 

I fear, not only people like DeSantis but the people who are way too eager to support his war on WOKE and LEFTISTS. I believe in this day and age, when so many people like DeSantis, insist that anyone who is not like them, is evil and must be removed from our American Society. For me, you must be WOKE, or you are DEAD. For me, you must be on the LEFT side of politics, or you are WRONG!

It ain’t “brain surgery”, as the phrase goes, to understand that unless controls are established during the creation of technology, space travel, medicine, and science the future becomes a little more bleak and worrisome when the priority is seemingly based on PROFIT!

 

Yes, advancements in how we live, what we do, and how we do it are wonderful, but if no one is actually looking at the CAUSE AND EFFECTS of modernization, the effects may cause more harm than intended. Fiction has turned into fact, right in front of our faces, and the more this societal fiction ferments, the more poisonous it becomes leading to rot and ruin!

Let me guess, it, wasn’t the guns that murdered and maimed, it wasn’t the bullets that found their way into the bone and flesh. Nope, none of that will be the issue as 16 people died this Memorial Day, 2023, at least from the responses by almost every single Republican Congress person (yeah even you pretend moderates like Romney/Collins/Murkowski). It will be Mental Health issues, as in if the Republicans just throw out the phrase mental health, it will miraculously stop murder by gun. Or it will be Gangs, or Antifa (amazing isn’t it, that somehow to be Anti Fascism is a bad thing) or it will be the Leftist Agenda (because if the Left somehow were more aware of the 2^nd Amendment instead of actual lives lived, all those extra guns would not be necessary)

 

Memorial Day, once a holiday to celebrate the men and women who fought Foreign Wars, fighting against Tyranny/Despots/Dictators/and Enemies of the State, too many losing their lives to GUNS to preserve our liberties and freedoms. But Memorial Day 2023 the war has become Domestic and just as Dangerous!

 Memorial Day, which is celebrated on the last Monday in May, honors service members who have died in military service to the nation. Our Troops fought wars to keep our Democracy alive, and to keep it thriving. Most to many of the wars fought were against, an assortment, of DESPOTS/ Authoritarians /Dictators/Fascists/Communists…all of which had no room for Freedom of Speech/Respect for Individuality/Freedom of the Press/Freedom of Choice/and the ability for the purpose of Education.

 

BUT HERE IN AMERIKA, 2023, somehow all of that, all that our Troops died for, or became injured both mentally and Physically, seems IRRELEVANT.

 Iowa has joined the ranks of several other red states by enacting a “don’t say gay” measure as part of a regressive education law that removes certain books from public schools.

Republican governor Kim Reynolds signed the legislation Friday. The new law bans any lessons on sexual orientation or gender identity before the seventh grade, requires teachers to alert parents if students wish to use new pronouns, and prohibits any books in schools that depict sex or sex acts, The Des Moines Register reports. REGRESSIVE EDUCATION. BANNING BOOKS. DON’T SAY GAY.

 

Additionally, the new law reduces the amount of arts and language courses required to graduate high school. The new also codifies, in lawmakers’ words, a “fundamental, constitutionally protected right” for parents to make decisions about their children’s medical care, extracurricular activities, and “moral and religious upbringing,” according to the Register. CONSTITUTIONALLY PROTECTED RIGHT for parents…But not for the parents of Trans kids. MORAL AND RELIGIOUS UPBRINGING…but whose religion is this based upon. So, if one is a parent of an LGBQ child, or of a Trans child, your rights are of no concern…If one is a parent not practicing any religion, or not practicing Evangelical Christianity, your rights are of no concern.

 

This tired trick of hate keeps on going and going, with the pretense that everyone has the same rights, EXCEPT if your rights are to support your LGBTQ child…then your rights become WRONG. HOW THE HELL CAN THAT BE!!!!

Agree in Silence

 If all the American People hear, from the Republicans, IS, that Trump is a loser, or that Trump can’t win, INSTEAD of them ANNOUNCING that in FACT, Trump is a TRAITOR, an INSURRECTIONIST, a FASCIST, a WANNA BE, DICTATOR, a THEIF, a CRIMINAL, then it should be EVIDENT to the sane, democracy-loving, true Patriots within this nation, that the silence of condemnation by the Republicans is, in fact, support of all the evil Trump has done and will continue to do.

Silence by the so-called mainstream Republicans is just a means of agreement that it matters NOT about the CRIMES, MISDEEDS, CONSPIRACY, and DOMESTIC TERRORISM, generated by Trump, but that becoming the majority party, NO MATTER WHAT damage is done…IS OKAY!

 

To not CALL OUT the attempt to overthrow the Constitution, by Trump, is just as subversive an action, as those who helped plan a COUP!

Families left to their own grief. The “thoughts and prayers,” have expired, the loss remains, and the business of MURDER in Texas still thrives, thanks to the Republican Governor, and the Ultra Majority of Republicans in the Texas Legislature.

 

Dead people are still dead. Corpses were buried, and at least the pieces of people shattered and destroyed because nothing says destruction like an attack from an Assault Weapon. Human flesh and bone were placed in a coffin. Services were held, survivors of the murdered cried, asked why, and wondered how in the world. But nevertheless, the GOP of Texas prioritized the NRA, the Murder Cartel, and their own Political Futures above any loss of life.

 

A year later and of course, nothing, nada, zilch, zero, had been offered as a solution to the murder by Assault Weapon.

 

But in Texas, the Texas Republicans, are busy BANNING BOOKS, DENYING WOMEN ANY RIGHTS REGARDING THEIR REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS, CALLING OUT DRAG QUEENS, AND INSISTING THAT TRANS KIDS ARE FREAKS. 

 

Act up, Fight back, be loud, and remember that Silence Equals Death. If not, imagine the consequences!
