IT ain't a SIDESHOW

WHEN THE SIDESHOW BECOMES THE MAIN EVENT

Republicans, Democrats, and Donald Trump Agree on One Thing: Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Move to Oust Mike Johnson Is a Dumb Idea. “She is about to realize her inevitable irrelevance.” (Vanity Fair)

Irrelevant…excuse me, as an American citizen, so far Margie-Putin-Greene’s every word, misdeed, slur, and crass action has taken center stage within the House of Representatives, and I so far have NOT witnessed ANYONE from telling her she is IRRELEVANT. In FACT, it seems she dominates Republican Politics.

Donald Trump suggested he may not accept the results of the 2024 election in the key swing state of Wisconsin in an interview with the state’s largest newspaper, where he also falsely claimed he won the state in 2020. "If everything's honest, I'll gladly accept the results. I don't change on that," Trump told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on Wednesday when he was in the state for a rally. "If it's not, you have to fight for the right of the country." (POLITICO)

More brazen than when he ran for the Presidency in 2020 and actually more honest (honesty and TRUMP in the same sentence can cause seizures), TRUMP is NOW saying out loud exactly how he will handle his losses in 2024. He and only he IS the one who can decide honest from dishonest. Be afraid, folks, because even if this DESPOT is spouting off at a local rally in Wisconsin now, it will only become worse later.

"If the Russians were to break through the front lines, if there were a Ukrainian request—which is not the case today—we would legitimately have to ask ourselves this question," Macron told The Economist in an interview published on Thursday, referring to the possibility of sending ground troops.

Although Ukraine's supporters are supplying billions of dollars in military aid to Kyiv, have balked at the idea of sending troops, a move that could draw NATO more directly into a confrontation with Russia. (NEWSWEEK)

Once again, we witness the let’s wait and see what happens, mixed with the dubious facts that we know what will happen, but if we pretend it won’t happen, then we won’t have to do anything about it…of course, until it is too late. It is as if the cowardly leaders of the nations in NATO, have perfectly forgotten the lessons of WWII> Appeasement is a diplomatic strategy. It involves making concessions to an aggressive foreign power in order to avoid war. It is most commonly associated with British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, in office from 1937 to 1940. In the 1930s, the British government pursued a policy of appeasement towards Nazi Germany. Today, appeasement is usually regarded as a failure because it did not prevent World War II.
