 As Millions Of Americans Lose SNAP Benefits, Trump Keeps The Party Going At Mar-A-Lago. Mar-a-Lago guests wearing tuxedos and gowns dined on filet, scallops and dessert. Meanwhile, 1 in 8 Americans are without critical federal food benefits. It’s now the second Friday in a row that Trump has hosted a party at his Florida resort. Just hours before millions of Americans lost federal food aid earlier this month, Trump hosted a lavish “Great Gatsby” themed party at his Mar-a-Lago resort. The theme of the night was “A Little Party Never Killed Anyone.” (HuffPost)

Please, Republicans, explain to America how Trump’s arrogance, ignorance, and complete lack of empathy can be tolerated by each and every one of you? This is the second weekend that Trump has had a Let Others Starve party at his one-star palace in Mar-A-Lago, adding another weekend of golf while people are going hungry.

There is no excuse for Republicans for pretending this selfish, self-serving behavior by Trump can be, could be, or should be overlooked. Almost to the person, Republicans, you pontificate that this nation is somehow a Christian nation, you love to nitpick against Trans people, people of color, the Gay Community, but when you have a real chance to demonstrate your Christian values, you remain silent as people go hungry, and Trump acts as a King. 

I might ask the question, have you no shame…but that would be a waste of time!

The Hunger Game

 Supreme Court lets Trump pause full SNAP payments for now.

The upshot is that the US Department of Agriculture will not have to immediately honor a lower court order that required it to transfer $4 billion to the key food assistance program by the end of the day. The decision, while temporary, could put at risk the full benefits for millions of Americans who rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, to feed themselves and their families. There is $4 billion available. There is money —lots of it —just sitting in some government fund. And all the while, millions of human beings are going hungry, will go hungry, and perhaps starve because people in power prefer to play politics rather than feed people.

Time, as if those who are hungry have the time to waste waiting to be fed. I do not understand, do not comprehend how anyone can pretend that people are going hungry, but somehow none of that matters, while the courts take their time to avoid this Pro-Death action easily.

Trump thinks he has a sinister tool to end the shutdown. Now the Supreme Court, acting as Gods, is also participating in avoiding a simple truth…people will go hungry…lots of innocent people will starve. What have we become as a nation, when the game playing involves playing with people’s lives?

 “All we want is voter ID, you go to a grocery store, you have to give ID, you go to a gas station, you give ID, but for voting, they want no voter ID. Where to begin. Seriously, where to begin to dissect this rant from a man who has no clue, who knows that once the Democrats take the majority in Congress, he will hopefully be on his way to prison, and a guy who is such a narcissist that he must project his own sour and sorry intentions upon others.

Of course, Trump has never set foot in a grocery store or pumped his own gas, yet from within his cauldron of lies and self-invented propaganda, he, without blinking an eye, states that Americans need an ID for doing almost everything Americans do during a day in their lives.

Then, of course, his projection takes shape as he accuses the Democrats of cheating at voting, forgetting, of course, about the FAKE ELECTORS he and his Republicans put in place during past elections. Somehow, in Trump's mentally ill world, he is certain that some creature takes mail-in ballots and changes, via some magical potion, how the votes are cast…somehow erasing the votes for Republicans to vote for Democrats.

Trump fears that his stay-out-of-jail card and his I-will-be-king card will be revoked, and that all the privileges he has received will disappear. This latest rant, of course, is all about his self-preservation and the continuous decimation of Democracy!

SIT UP

 On Wednesday, at a White House breakfast for Republican senators, Donald Trump discussed some of his takeaways after meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Reflecting on the mannerisms of the Chinese president's staff, he said, "I want my cabinet to behave like [Xi Jinping's staff]. I'm demanding that. I want them sitting up like that, just nice and straight." He continued, "I never saw posture like that. I've never seen men so scared in their lives." (BuzzFeed)

Fear and loathing are the two elements Trump loves and desires from his Cabinet.  At first, Trump just wanted all of America to be bullied and intimidated so they could NOT question his aspirations to become King…but now, after witnessing how the Dictator of China, Xi, handles his minions, Trump wants his staff, or does he think it's his peasants, to be scared for their lives. I suppose just kissing Trump’s ass is no longer good enough.

Maybe, some of Trump’s serfs have informed Trump that Just Dance is in with the Heritage Foundation rather closely, and he is being groomed to become the Heritage Foundation’s numero uno puppet…so maybe this is Trump’s attempt to make the statement that no one, NO ONE, will ever be the belle of the ball except Trump. But still it is always a delight to read one more article in which Just Dance is made the fool!

Kim Davis at it again!

 The Supreme Court will meet behind closed doors Friday to consider a longshot bid to overturn its decade-old same-sex marriage precedent, an appeal that is churning fear among some LGBTQ advocates even though the justices themselves have repeatedly signaled little appetite for reopening the landmark decision. The pending appeal comes from Kim Davis, a former county clerk from Kentucky who refused to issue marriage licenses after the Supreme Court’s blockbuster 2015 decision.

Ms Davis is represented by Liberty Counsel, a religious legal group representing Davis. “In my view, it’s not a matter of if but when it will be overturned.” (CNN)

Kim Davis, who has been divorced three times and married four, has become one of the nation’s most steadfast defenders of “biblical marriage.”

Hey Kim, which kind of biblical marriage are you talking about? The Bible states that adulterers are subject to serious consequences, including judgment from God. It emphasizes that adultery is a sin that can lead to severe repercussions, both spiritually and socially, and calls for the marriage bed to be kept pure (Hebrews 13:4). Trump and his Regime’s hatred toward any person not a millionaire or billionaire is so glaring that you must wear at least two pairs of sunglasses not to be blinded by it.

If there was truly a will, Trump and his Brown Shirts could find a way to fund SNAP. But as I see it, Trump’s inability to demonstrate any empathy, plus his thinking that the Democrats are mostly made up of empathetic men and women, will cave and give in to the devastating bill to fund the government,

PHEW, for now

 PHEW…at least for now. The knots in my stomach on Tuesday, November 4, were too much of a reminder of the last election of November 2024. Too afraid to watch the news or even look at my Facebook account, I spent the evening watching old 1950s black-and-white sci-fi movies. Watching giant spiders, locusts, and Green Men from Mars attacking the world seemed much more satisfying than witnessing an Orange Turd try to end the world.

I am an avid reader of the news, and shying away from the election results was difficult. Still, with the media, there is a lot of heresy, minus the facts prior to and during the election cycle, and this time around, I did not want the press to soothe my false hopes and then get slammed with a wham bam no thank you ma’am of reality. 

Tuesday’s results show Americans aren’t numb to Trump’s abuses. (MSNBC). I feared that too many people may have just given up, or worse, given in, and that their nonactions would provide the Republicans with winner trophies. PHEW, I was incorrect.

Of course, Trump, the psychopathic narcissist, took no responsibility and even said, “Trump was not on the ballot” (People speak in the third person, a practice known as illeism, for various reasons, including to boost self-esteem, manage stress). And so far, it seems most of the Republicans remain too cowardly to speak up, speak against Trump, and inform him that the Republican Party is the Trump Party.

But now, we must remain vigilant, because Trump is completely scared, knowing that the future is ominous for him to stay out of jail. His self-preservation antics and tactics will be full speed ahead. Trump will most likely invade more cities, increase his illegal use of ICE, and he will add scores of Democrat politicians to his enemies list. But what I fear most —and have feared —is that the 2025 election might be the last free election in the United States. The Felon, The Fraudster, The Sexual Predator, and most likely The Pedophile, does not want to go to jail, so he will, as I see it, slowly but surely, incite enough public outrage for him to have the Heritage Foundation Supremes permit him to invoke Martial Law. So PHEW, for now!

 

Historians

 As Trump’s approval rating sinks, Republicans have a decision to make. The question isn’t just about the president’s fractured relationship with reality. Just as notable is what his GOP allies intend to do with the facts. (msnbc)

Nothing new in that headline, but why I am writing this blog has a whole lot to do with that headline and what worries me about it! Anyone with an IQ higher than the average MAGA minion has known that Trump and reality do not fit in the same sentence. We could use words like delusional, demented, and devious to describe Trump and his layers and layers of lies, and in fact, we should use words when talking about Trump. 

Trump has been quoted as saying, "If you say it enough and keep saying it, they'll start to believe you."  This Trump statement is very similar to the quote: "If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it.” This phrase is widely attributed to the Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels (or sometimes Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf), who described the concept as a propaganda tactic. Trump’s American Nazi’s enablers seem to have little to no problem in spreading lies, as Johnny Appleseed had no trouble in spreading apple seeds. 

I write this blog hoping that some current historians understand facts and truth who are writing about our current state of Fascist affairs in America and are keeping a detailed journal. For what I fear is that unless we find a way to stop Trump and his ilk from lying, all of Trump’s lies will suddenly become an American truth. The Republicans have been keen on burning books, so it would not surprise me that these Republicans would have little trouble in banning the truth. I hope that those historians or journalists who still believe in freedoms and liberties, and democracy, write the truth, but I also hope those authors find a very, very safe and secure place to hide their books, for fear that they too will be burned.

I imagine most pay the minimum amount of taxes. I imagine they all voted to keep Trump and his Fascism in power. I imagine none of them have little empathy for the hungry, the homeless, the unemployed. And oh yeah, maybe this was a private event, but exactly how much of my tax dollars were spent to fly Trump and his family to Mar-A-Lago, and how much of my tax dollars were spent for the Secret Service to protect Trump!

As an American who, among many attributes of my life, happens to be Jewish, I am not shocked by Cruz’s sudden revelation regarding the love of Nazi’s and Fascism by the Republican Party…I am, of course, disgusted, but Trump himself has surrounded himself with Nazi types for a long time, so once he gave the “okee doe kee” to chum around antisemites, his followers and voters just followed suit. 

As an American who, among many attributes of my life, happens to be Pro-Democracy, I am not shocked by Tucker Carlson’s love for Nazis, as he has made his antisemitic and pro Fascist philosophy very clear each and every time he speaks. However, I am dismayed that he still has sponsors who remain quiet about this kind of hate.

It has been very clear where the Republican Party is heading. They need the Nick Fuentes and the Charlie Kirks so that the Republicans can continue to intimidate and bully and eventually divide America and Americans. The Republican base is a cauldron full of bigots, haters, and Fascists.

Hey Mariam Adelson, you are Jewish, you gave $100 million to the Trump campaign, and your Adelson Family has donated to the Trump Ballroom…does any of this even phase you? Or do you actually believe your wealth will keep you safe?

 Shutdown effects bear down on millions more people after crucial deadline passes. Despite a judge's ruling ordering the administration to fund SNAP benefits, President Donald Trump said that November's payments were likely to be delayed. (NBC News)

 But the East Wing continues to be demolished. But the Trump/Epstein Ballroom continues to go forward. The $40 billion bailout was to buy the presidency in Argentina. The Congress, even when not in session, continues to get paid. Trump’s golf trips and overseas trips continue to get reimbursed. Oh yeah, and ICE agents, Trump’s newly minted Secret Police, continue to get paid.  

Another program that will be forced to shutter in states across the country is Head Start, which provides free learning programs, health screenings and meals to young children from low-income families. (NBC News)

Trump must prefer hurting people, so he can remain in place, shooting fishing vessels, invading blue cities, and having Pam Bondi weaponize the Justice Department. Trump must prefer homelessness, unemployment, extravagant health insurance, and starvation just to keep the Epstein Files from being released.

And all of his Christian Nationalists remain silent, pretending to be Pro-Life by eliminating abortion rights, attacking Trans People, and profiling people of color. 

Trump and fellow Fascists had no intention of making America great again; their only sociopathic intentions were to increase the divide between the wealthy and the poor, to increase racism, and to eliminate any hope for anyone who is not them.

A Facebook post from a MAGA voter on SNAP is going viral after she called out her mother-in-law for refusing to lend her grocery money because she decided to vote for Donald Trump. People in the comments had a range of opinions, with one user claiming that since the woman voted for Trump, she was "fine when other people were going to suffer." (BuzzFeed)

And there you have it in a Trumpian America nutshell. Ya voted for Trump because he promised you that the OTHERS would suffer. He promised you that you were better than the OTHERS. Ain’t no bad thing gonna come your way, because the liar Felon, Sexual Abuser, and probable pedophile, was only going after the OTHER. And DAMN it, you thought you were so far removed from the OTHER. If you were a female and voted for Trump, you knew your kind of femininity was unlike those women who wanted to take over masculinity. If you were a person of color, your skin color was not exactly like your brothers’ or sisters’. If you were a Christian, well, your Jesus was the same Jesus who anointed Trump in the first place. If you were an LGBTQ person, fuck it, you were not as Gay as those other Queers. If you were a Jew, you knew that Mariam Adelson gave millions of dollars to Trump so of course you were safe.

With MAGA, it has always been, "fine when other people were going to suffer." Why, well of course it’s never your shit that stinks!

 

  

Getting away with murder

 Even when the government was open, Trump and his Gestapo paid little attention to the rule of law. It was more annoying for Trump and his Brown Shirts to get away with Trump shit. Still, since the Heritage Foundation Supreme Court and the majority Republican Congress played Trump’s anti-democracy games, Trump and his fellow Fascists mainly triumphed in screwing the Constitution and the American Public.

But interestingly enough, some Republicans found a wee bit of their backbone and actually decided that even their Lord and Savior, Trump, might have gone a little too far for their limited Christian values, and pedophilia with young girls might be a bit icky.

Conveniently for the 34-Count Felon and accused Sexual Harrasser, keeping the government closed bought him some more time to remain in power, and to remain as a Führer. But let’s look into this, shall we? I mean, after a while, a few more Republicans might have thrown Trump under the bus, for their own political ambitions, and a vote could have been taken to RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES.

But here is the kicker, here is the really SCARY thing. The hesitation, the blowback, the intimidation must not be coming just from TRUMP, in fact, it must be echoing from the palaces, the mansions, and the bunkers of some VERY ELITE, POWERFUL, and DANGEROUS men and women—people who just might be powerful enough to get away with murder. 

Trump wields a lot of power, but Trump, I believe, aside from being Putin’s puppet, has a lot of very, very, very cadre of evil doers pulling his strings and those of the Republican Party.

Kennedy Jr. admitted Wednesday that he doesn’t have “sufficient” evidence that pregnant people’s use of Tylenol can cause autism in their children. “The causative association between Tylenol given in pregnancy and perinatal periods is not sufficient to say it definitely causes autism, but it is very suggestive,” Kennedy said. But he said it anyway, and his War Lord repeated it, and most of the Propaganda Right Wing Anti-Life Media outlets spent time repeating it. And now it has, for the uneducated, the reluctant to read, the people who thrive on Conspiracy Theories, become real science. Once again, as Republicans do too well, they just added fiction to the conversation, knowing that the masses who adore them for being loathsome and give zeros shits about lying. Remember when Haitians were eating dogs and cats in Springfield!

As it seems the case has become, there is no remorse from the Republicans in lying, and worst of all, it seems there are few consequences for the lying Republicans. The people hurt, as far as the Republicans go, should not be so stupid as to believe a word Republicans say.

No money, hmm, I suppose the jet from Qatar, the kickbacks from foreign companies towards anything Trump incorporated, the golf trips each and every week, the ballroom, do not equate to money. But okay he is the KING of GRIFTING, so he does not have to account for his blackmail and bribery scheme.

Trump’s march to the position of Führer can only succeed if he is the sole authority to play judge, jury, and executioner. 

Trump has already demolished the Constitution; he is well on his way to destroying Voting Rights, he has initiated his own Secret police, ICE, and he has demolished and weaponized the DOJ. Freedom of the Press is limping along, and the entire idea of free speech is now a muffled scream. With the government shut down, Trump can be Dear Leader, Chairman, Dictator, and, as mentioned before, Führer. 

But if you ask me, and even if you don’t, I will add the following fact: why I believe Trump wants to keep the government shut down, and that his most crucial rationale is to keep the Epstein Files closed, never to be seen again. Yes, with the ass lickers in the Republican Congress, and the ass wipes of the Heritage Foundation Supreme Court, Trump has been able to run things his way, but keeping the government closed leaves him with little to no opposition to become the all-powerful OZ.

When Trump says, “With us it's the opposite,” he is a special kind of liar, pretending that the Republicans en masse have done anything to lower health care costs, and to increase any or all benefits toward Social Security.

Trump, once again the DIVIDER-IN-CHIEF, uses words like THEY’RE as if we, the people of the United States, who do not suck at his entrails, are some foreign items, not of this nation, an enemy. This entire Trump-initiated showdown is not only dangerous, but it is getting deadly!

You have two prominent Gay Men, Peter Thiel and Scott Bessent, both with very high power and prestige in the Trump Administration. You got a Trans person, Caitlyn Jenner cheering on Trump. You got a bunch of Latin dudes, like Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and the head of the Proud Boys, Enrique Tarrio, showcasing tons of their power. You got African Americans like Clarence Thomas, Tim Scott, and Candace Owens, each preferring to separate themselves from people of color. You got females like Erika Kirk taking over the CEO of Turning Point, Pam Bondi, Karoline Leavitt, all at the helm of the shit that falls from the Trump Administration.

So explain to me how the Racist, Anti-Semitic, Bigotry, Homophobia, Transphobia, Misogyny “we hate you, you are the enemy, you are the OTHER” thingie is supposed to work? Could it be who has lots of money? Could it be who has a large Fan Base? Could it be who Trump needs at the moment? Please, someone, explain this to me. I am impressed that the unofficial count states that I joined approximately 7 million other Americans, peacefully, and within our Constitutional rights of Free Speech, and the Right to Peacefully Protest. I know a great statement had been proclaimed, I know our voices were loud, but what I am uncertain of is what exactly comes next.

TRUMP and his low-life lifestyle have rotted yet one more USED TO BE RESPECTED, part of US culture. Now, a man who has spoken about racism being correct, bigotry as a basis by which to live, misogyny as a perfectly macho kind of hate, and how homophobia is very American, has received the Medal of Freedom.

Oh, TRUMP, you just can’t stop asserting your lack of taste, ethics, or morals upon this nation. You strive to be Emperor, yet you continue to run amok without clothes. You thrive on wealth, yet you demonstrate nothing but poor judgment, poorer actions, and purely poor actions. 

Added to your list of WTF and OMG, what did you just do? You have removed any respect for recipients of the Medal of Freedom. Your takeover of the Kennedy Center and removal of the Board to replace them with MAGA Fascists has now diminished the quality of the artists of the USA. Instead, you are replacing them with people who hate exactly as you do. Then you ruined the status of the Oval Office with your gold-plated gaudy thingamabobs. You paved over the Jackie Kennedy Rose Garden with lackluster cement and remnants from your shabby Mar-a-Lago shake shack. 

And now to prop up your distorted ego, thinking that bigger will somehow make you a bigger man, you are planning to turn the White House (once considered the people’s house) into a palace with a multimillion-dollar ballroom.

Money, TRUMP certainly can buy a whole lot of things, but dude, in your case it does not buy you any class!                

The monster is free

 Leaders of Young Republican groups throughout the country worried what would happen if their Telegram chat ever got leaked, but they kept typing anyway. They referred to Black people as monkeys and “the watermelon people” and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies and driving them to suicide and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery. (POLITICO)

I read this article from POLITICO, not with surprise or shock and awe, but with a ton of frustration pounding heavily onto my gut. I am not naïve enough to consider that the hate filtering down from Trump and his Gestapo of Republican enablers dissipates or dries up; rather, the role model of bigotry, violence, and bullying presented by Trump morphs into some kind of oxygen for a generation who, in my estimate, were raised by thugs who themselves were denied morals or values as they grew up.

Trump is MAGA. We know this. The very terrifying fact, however, is that MAGA has now become free from the Dr. Frankenstein, Trump, who created that monster, and that monster is at the ready to rip apart those it encounters.

Together, the messages reveal a culture where racist, antisemitic and violent rhetoric circulate freely — and where the Trump-era loosening of political norms has made such talk feel less taboo among those positioning themselves as the party’s next leaders. (POLITICO)

I wonder how you say CORRUPTION in Indonesian? I know that in the US, CORRUPTION is translated into TRUMP CORPORATION and the TRUMP FAMILY!

Now, why in the world would two so-called religion, equal morals and values, self-appointed interpreters of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Trump/MAGA Administration, and the Catholic Bishops of the state of Washington wish to quell any and all assistance in stopping child abuse? Once again, the holier-than-thou folks have demonstrated their penchant for covering up abuse and pedophilia. Shame on them.

 

 

Peace

 In an appearance Friday on CBS News, Clinton said, “I really commend President Trump and his administration, as well as Arab leaders in the region for making the commitment to the 20-point plan and seeing a path forward for what’s often called the day after.” (MSNBC)

I will echo Hillary Clinton’s comments. Trump has made more of an effort to seek peace in the Middle East than he has within the United States. I am quite leery of Trump’s intentions to seek peace, wondering if it has more to do with hoping to win a Nobel Peace Prize, or to extend his family's financial business opportunities in GAZA…after all, he already sent his son-in-law Jarod Kushner to look at all of the potential seaside real estate in Gaza!

Imagine if Trump truly believed in peace rather than his own fame or fortune. Imagine him tirelessly meeting with both the Democrats and Republicans to end the shutdown. Imagine if he met with the Governors or Mayors of blue states and blue cities to discuss the so-called lawlessness of those locations.

I wish for peace in the Middle East and appreciate all and any who honestly and sincerely promote it. I also wish for peace within the United States, and would love to discover a single Republican from Trump to Congress who would make the effort to stop their domestic terrorism!

Oh no, not the truth

Not a fan of Pete (I promise I will not drink alcohol, and am able to beat up my wife) Hegseth. But sometimes, in spite of himself, due to the fact that his fear of having a micro penis will somehow emasculate him, he likes to brag about what he considers machismo actions, and will speak the truth out loud, just to demonstrate his power, his manliness.

So seemingly caught up in his macho, macho man moment, Hegseth bragged about the potential Qatari airbase in all MAGA places, such as Idaho. After all of the bribery and kiss assing stunts the Qatari Government has committed to soothe the fragile ego of Trump, why not throw in a Qatari base on US soil?

But Hegseth, in his moment of manliness, forgot that the MAGA die-hards are not only Christian Nationalist Fascists but overwhelmingly Islamaphobes.

So, Just Dance Vance, the guy the Heritage Foundation has christened as the next President, had to step in and reassure the MAGA minions that whatever words fell from Hegseth mouth were not meant to be said by Hegseth, and informed his cultists that he must have been speaking from his own ass. And to highlight all of that, Vance went on to blame “misreporting” for the confusion over the so-called facility.
