The Republicans always pretending that they had, have and sure as hell will have a bigger, better idea for health coverage, and all they have to show for their years of promises are higher premiums, and no fucks to give!

Now, don’t worry about any of the members in Congress, most of their health subsidies are covered under American socialistic laws, whereas they pay for a small percent of their coverage, and the taxpayers pay the rest. They are cool with their coverage, so while they are on another vacation, having NOT finished health care legislation, they can have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS, while the average American can just begin to worry, food, shelter, or health care, which can I afford and which can I do without!

Vivek even disparaged Black women to curry Trump’s favor.

BUT, VIVEK RAMASWAMY’s name was not Victor Ramsey and his religion was not Fascist Christianity, and so, he is facing the same cruel punishment he bestowed on the Trump OTHERS, just to discover (DUH) that he was always and will remain THE OTHER!

And then the part regarding the legality of this whole bit of bull shit should also be of no surprise to the intelligent among us, because almost everything the Trump Regime has done is far from legal. No matter this latest effort to assure the Emperor that he is wearing clothes, it pisses me off anyway!

Trump cannot earn honor, so he delivers it to himself. He is at least aware that his actions are never, ever going to collect the accolades he so miserably desires.

But what is next, as Trump is enabled to fuck over America? Will Washington, DC, soon be officially known as the Trumpington District of Trump? Will the memorials of Lincoln and Jefferson become the Trump/Lincoln Memorial and the Trump Jefferson Memorial? And will be told to call the White House Mar-A-Logo North? So, today, first doing my breathing exercises, to maintain control of my emotions, I bravely dared to read the reviews, the editorials, and watch the videos of this 18-minute LIE-A-THON, from the perspective of the Lying Fox Propaganda Machine to the opinions of the MS NOW. 

And lo, and behold, I took a few moments to talk to myself and say thank you for not putting myself through this last, right before bed. Even now, as I write this BLOG, my stomach is churning, I feel my last nerve turning numb, and I am shaking my head in disbelief. 

Here we are, America, we have Trump in power, he lives to lie, and lying is his life. Is help on the way…so far, I don’t hear the urgent sirens of a police car or ambulance heading our way.

The hastily assembled bill does little to unify the House GOP on health care — and even less for lessening the pain of expiring health insurance subsidies. The bill as drafted neither addresses the expiring subsidies nor offers an alternative to prevent the rapidly approaching spike in costs. (MS NOW)

Screw you Americans, and bah humbug during the holidays, the Republican majority in Congress has not even a whole lump of coal to deliver, but in their selfish serving and arrogant manner, they only have half a lump of coal. But remember that the Republicans shut down the government from October 1, 2025, to November 12, 2025, amid promises that they, the Republicans, could and would come up with a fair health care package…but of course they are Republicans and of course as Republicans they lie.

And yet, without any resolution, regarding the health care crisis, the Congress is scheduled to take a winter break starting on December 22, 2025, and will return on January 3, 2026, making the break approximately 12 days long. 

So, let us get this straight, America, and yeah, you Fascist MAGAs also, we hired Congress to work for the people, but Congress has failed in working for the people. And to reward themselves for not doing a damned thing regarding the health care for the people, they are taking a vacation…you know, to be with their families!

The boys and girls of the Congress think that We The People are just saps, idiots who are only a pain in the ass, as they act as royalty, and seem to have little time to do their jobs. I thought that Congress was supposed to be the one working for the People, but it always seems that Congress is the owner of the People!

It is ridiculous that Congress somehow expects that they should take a vacation, while millions and millions of Americans suffer the consequences of their political inaction!

As he builds a $300 million ballroom, purchases gold-plated show and tell gilding, and plays golf 43 times out of the 184 days he has been in office, which is approximately 23.4% of the days, holding a million-dollar or more lavish Halloween Party in Mar-Lago, Trump, absent of any sense of reality or ethics, or morals, or values says.

And in his own illustrious way, Trump, who has reminded the public that he IS Indeed the King of the USA (and with significant assistance from the not-so-supreme Court, he seems to be), suddenly feels that he must acquiesce to his inferiors to release anything. He demurred to Bondi regarding the tapes, and now he is gonna wait until Hegseth says okay!

THREE WEEKS

 THE COMING OBAMACARE CLIFF. Health-care costs are about to spike in a way that Americans can’t afford. For the 22 million  Americans who receive the ACA subsidies in question—is that policy makers in Congress and at the White House also can’t figure out what to do. They’ve been immobilized on the issue for months, consumed by indecision and infighting that led to a record-long government shutdown. There’s a growing feeling that not much of anything will happen before the year runs out, which would lead to massive premium hikes for most people on ACA plans. (The Atlantic)

So, with only just THREE WEEKS left until the price of healthcare for millions of Americans goes off the chart in expense, and in those THREE WEEKS, Congress will go on break on December 19, 2025, leaving only ELEVEN DAYS for them to give a “rats ass”, regarding the lives and deaths of their Constituents.

It’s not as if the cost of health care is new to Congress, because in the BIG UGLY BILL created by Trump and endorsed by the Republicans and eventually 6 Democrats, it was clearly stated that the Affordable Care Act was to die an ugly death. No worries chimed the Republicans; we have time to create a BETTER/BEST/BIGGER health care plan. And between the Epstein File Release Shutdown, and now, not one BETTER/BEST/BIGGER plan has found fruition.

But not to worry, however, because none of this rise in prices or lack of affordability will affect Congress. No, Members of Congress, who receive health insurance through the DC Health Link, with the federal government covering approximately 72% to 75% of their premium costs. This means that they pay around 28% of their annual healthcare premiums through pre-tax payroll deductions, will continue to receive tax payer funded healthcare at the same bargain rate they have gown accustomed to!

 

RELAX!!!!!!!

 It is gloomy outside. Having grown up in Pittsburgh, December gloom is nothing really new, but for some reason, today, it seems rather irksome to me. I promised myself not to read news anymore, having written a Blog earlier in the day, I hoped it would satisfy my need to say something, to do something, but the gray-laden clouds and the cold air almost dared me to look, just one more time, at the world outside of my window. And damn it, I am serious, damn it, I had to read more frustrating, gruesome, irritating, intentionally incitive articles, which directly or indirectly affect me and the vast majority of people. 

Now, even as Trump this week dismissed the affordability furor as a Democratic “hoax,” Republicans seem to have homed in on an affordability message of their own: Blame former President Joe Biden, and — as House Speaker Mike Johnson suggested — “relax.” 

“Relax. We are exactly on the trajectory of where we’ve always planned to be,” Johnson said on Thursday. “Steady at the wheel, everybody. It’s gonna be fine. Our best days are ahead of us.” Vice President JD Vance struck a similar note in his own interview with NBC News. “I think what the president’s saying is the idea that, 11 months into the administration, that we could solve all of the affordability problems created by Democrats — (MS NOW)

So, now as Americans sit in their homes, those lucky not to be homeless, deciding what is the priority to pay for, be it rent, or mortgage, or groceries, or medical bills, or the cost of drugs, the answer from the people who helped create chaos and confusion in the United States, Trump and his Republican Fascists, are now telling us to RELAX. 

Taking zero accountability for their inaction, Just Dance Vance and Mickey Johnson’s only retort to the crisis they have helped create is to tell us to RELAX. What the fuck. What the holy fuck!

But as is the case with Pistol Pete and the bevvy of bozos in the Trump orbit, no statement could be uttered without oodles and oodles of hypocrisy. He states we are not involved in regime change, yet he and his Military thugs, under the direction of Trump and administration thugs, are doing their very best to effect regime change in Venezuela. And when Pistol Pete speaks about our nation’s concrete interests, he omits the part where he mentions Trump’s desires to become King, Leader, and Dictator, placing Trump’s concrete interests first.

Trying his hardest to pretend once again that he and Trump are true Populists, Pistol Pete does not mention how, in the United States, the wealthier are getting wealthier, how the corporations and industries that pledge their undying support to Trump get wealthier, and exactly how the common man and woman always will remain the common man and woman. 

Another guard rail is going away, we will no longer have a Military to support the American people, but instead have Trump’s private cavalry to ride roughshod wherever and whenever he decides to do so!

 Part of the disconnect here is that Trump has never needed to worry about high prices. He’s been rich his whole life, never wanting for anything. It’s likely that he hasn’t gone grocery shopping in decades, if ever. So while he may know inflation is a problem, he doesn’t feel it the way a regular person does.

He called himself, and still claims that somehow, he is a POPULIST. A man of the people, he has marketed himself. He swears that HE and only HE can place the needs and desires of the common man (this is Christian Nationalist America, so I can only say common man) as a Government priority. And as usual, because his base lacks proper education, the word Populist sounds doable, the correct way to be an American, they never ever challenged him on identifying as a Populist.

It mattered not to his base, and the newly minted base of 2024, that Trump was a billionaire, that Trump only hung with billionaires, and that a great majority of his Cabinet are billionaires, nope, because Trump said all the correct words, did the correct PR, and told the correct lies to his followers, so why question who Trump truly was and is?

As this article states, Trump never had to worry about the same things that most Americans do. He was never of the people. Most likely, he hated the same as the people, having that in common, but more than his bigotry and racism, the billionaire Trump and the common, everyday non-millionaire or billionaire have nothing in common. This is Brooke Rollins. She's the Secretary of Agriculture, and TBH, I'd never heard of her before today. But oh boy, I'll never forget her thanks to some controversial remarks she made during Tuesday's cabinet meeting.

"As Joe Biden was working to buy an election a year ago, he increased food stamp program funding by 40%. So now, as we continue to roll that back, so the partnership with Making America Healthy Again is also in food stamps, but a lot of what we're, Bobby and I, are doing together is really remarkable," Brooke said. But just to make certain she too got to leave the Clown Cabinet Meeting with a large round ORANGE ring on her lips, she creep added, "But again, just gratitude and joy for this work. And so, so grateful to you," she continued, apparently addressing Donald Trump.

Gratitude and joy to keep kids hungry and keep the poor in this nation starving. Wow, one more Trump asswipe!

The Fog of which war is the question the Senate should be asking. The imaginary war created by Trump as a means to have the nation look over there, so as not to look for the Epstein Files, or the kidnapping of Americans in America? The Trump War to end all wars, war?

I had no idea drugs from Trump’s perceived enemies were more poisonous to Americans than the drugs from Trump’s pals?

Think about ALL of the times Trump has PROJECTED his misdeeds, his criminal actions, his poor planning onto others or has screamed aloud how he never, ever, did it himself. Trump is such a sick narcissist that he cannot help himself from admitting everything he has done, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

ANTI WOMEN

 DOES HERITAGE SUPPORT DISCRIMINATION AGAINST WOMEN? (The Atlantic)

Why this should matter to Americans is due to the fact that Trump and his echelon of sycophants withing his Cabinet, the Republican Congress, and the Republican Activist Supreme Court Justices have been supported by The Heritage Foundation, and in fact have taken on most to many of their tenants listed in the Project 2025 handbook, you know, the one to dismantle our Constitution!

Seems the Heritage Foundation dug deep enough into the pit of insecure male egos and hired a guy named Scott Yenor, a family-policy scholar, to lead the Foundation’s B. Kenneth Simon Center for American Studies, which poses serious questions about the institution’s beliefs concerning the equality of women in the workplace and perhaps even as citizens.

Yenor believes that employers should be legally permitted to discriminate against women in the workplace, and has advocated for legal changes that would allow businesses “to support traditional family life by hiring only male heads of households, or by paying a family wage”—that is, denying women jobs solely on the basis of their sex or paying men more for performing the same job as women. He also believes that “governments should be allowed to prepare men for leadership and responsible provision, while preparing women for domestic management and family care.”

We have witnessed so much backward hate and bigotry from Trump and his gang of Fascists. And now the target de jour is women. The hypocrisy, however, remains the same. Seems that if you are a Republican female, it’s okay to look the other way, cause somehow all of these ANTI-WOMEN policies won’t affect you, just any female who is not you!

Two men, Trump and Hegseth, who brag about being the boss of everything, are suddenly nowhere to be seen at the scene of the crime, leaving the final decision about war to someone neither of them is. Both men who relish the idea of inflicting pain upon others, thinking that by doing so, it makes them more macho, macho men have nothing to do with the second murderous strike.

First, the second strike never took place, then suddenly it had. Trump and Hegseth would have never ordered the second strike, but suddenly, Admiral Frank Bradley took it upon himself to order the kill strike. Nothing to see here, so say Trump and Hegseth, just some Admiral usurping both of these narcissistic sociopaths’ orders. Uh-Huh!

Yeah, TRUMP

 The president added that "we'll look into it" and that he wouldn't have wanted a second strike. 

"The first strike was very lethal. It was fine. And if there were two people around, but Pete said that didn't happen," he said. "I have great confidence."

Trump added, "Pete said he did not order the death of those two men. (Axios)

So, we are to believe a few unbelievable things. First, that “Shoot 'em dead, Pistol Pete, never ordered a second strike. This is the guy who out Cos-plays Kristi Noam, sending selfies of himself dressed in military drag, hoping that by doing so, it creates more testosterone.  And second, we are to believe Trump when he says he wouldn’t have wanted a second strike. Really!

Hey, Trump, you are the guy who gave directives for kids to be dragged out of their apartments and have them cuffed while standing alone outside, with your personal private army aiming their weapons of war at them. Hey, Trump, you are the guy sending Americans who just happened to be of brown skin to Honduras torture prisons. Hey, Trump, you are the guy who instructs ICE to grab wives from their husbands to kidnap fathers from their children.

Yeah, Trump, you are void of empathy or caring about true justice. You hired people like Pistol Pete Hegseth, Stephen Miller, and Kristi Noam to follow your orders of terror. Of course, you believe Pistol Peter, cause now that the Senate Republicans are actually doing their job of checks and balances, you find yourself in a real hot seat. But no TRUMP, we don’t believe you would have not directed the second attack, you love to see people suffer, and or die!

TOO BIG TO FAIL, again!

 The cost of Trump’s bank deregulation could be catastrophic. Unfortunately, the Trump administration is tearing away every layer of protection that was designed for the next economic crash. (MS NOW)

It is also brought to the US citizen by the same guy whose companies have filed for bankruptcy six times, primarily involving his casino and hotel operations. These filings occurred between 1991 and 2014.

Regulators are gutting the capital requirements that are sensitive to the riskiness of banks’ businesses, the ones that are risk-neutral, the ones determined by banks’ performance in annual stress tests, and the ones that require additional protection for the  “too big to fail” banks. This wholesale deregulation will allow banks to load up on more debt and have less of their own money available to absorb losses when their investments go south. (MS NOW)

It seems that the big banks, the big corporations, the big billionaires, who bought and paid for Trump’s presidency, are at it again, insisting that any guardrail established to help the average American is one too many guardrails keeping them from making even more enormous and out of proportion profits.

 Hacked materials from the powerful rightwing thinktank the Heritage Foundation show that applicants to a Project 2025-branded effort to create a talent pool for the Trump administration cited the influence of Nazi political theorists and other far-right thinkers on their political views. As bad as it has been getting in this nation of ours, regarding the hatred, bigotry, racism, and antisemitism, we at least have more insight as to when and where this evil began. It should be to no one’s surprise that with the Republicans’ attempts to end any civil rights legislation, the Republicans’ attempts to limit voting rights, the Republicans’ attempts to discriminate against some perceived other, that all along the way the Republicans would include Nazi’s, Fascists, Misogynists in their BIG TENT.

And amid a developing “civil war” on the right about the influence of the antisemitic far right – which has included internal dissension at Heritage – the materials show that at least seven members of a nationwide network of men-only, nativist and antisemitic clubs applied to work in the administration, revealing the extent to which the Republicans and the far-right have converged. I must wonder how the People of Color, the Jewish Americans, Women, the Gay Log Cabin Group, must be so self-loathing as to have voted for the Republicans, thinking somehow that this political party actually honestly embraces them. Is it because they have lots of wealth, so they are assured that money will save them? Is it because they think that, somehow, they are on the higher end of the rung on the ladder that no one will see them?

We have a lot to fear in this nation, and now one more fact has found fruition, and we now should be terrified!
