Food Banks Are Running Out of Food Exactly When More Americans Will Need Them
‘The most challenging situation I’ve seen in 17 years.’ Cuts to food stamps and other federal programs mean some people go home hungry. (The Wall Street Journal)
Hungry, what an awful feeling, hungry with nowhere to turn to eat, must be an even more inhuman pain from which to suffer the consequences of a political Party identifying more with billionaires and Corporations than human beings. And to think that this government must hope that Food Banks will solve the problem of hunger is outrageous, to say the least.
And since way too many Americans do not go hungry, they are not limited to perhaps, if lucky enough, one meal a day…who exactly will remain the advocates for the poor? Homelessness, lack of medical coverage or care, and now starvation are always the fault of someone else; the people with no collateral are always considered some kind of low life, some kind of animal that deserves their injustice by a society that is too far distant.
I call it Republican Pre-Meditated Murder, and those Republicans who supported the Big Beautiful Bill are Pre-Meditated Murderers.
