Meta is ending its fact-checking program in favor of a 'community notes' system similar to X
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced a series of major changes to the company's moderation policies and practices, saying that the election felt like a "cultural tipping point." (NBC News)
It seems now, in the land of the billionaire Tech Oligarchs, the way to survive for personal gain is to play by the Republican propaganda rules indicating that anytime one of their lies is called out as false, it is a form of censorship.
Using the bull shit explanation that this election “felt like a cultural tipping point,” Mr. Zuckerberg has decided that what is best for him and his META universe is a priority above and beyond what IS better for Democracy.
Cultural tipping, Mr. Zuckerberg, once again, Trump did not win the majority of popular votes, so it seems that the majority of the culture once again did not change their minds regarding Trump’s lack of leadership morals or values.
A major success for any wanna-be AUTHORITARIAN is dismantling any GUARD RAILS that might hinder their rise to becoming a Dictator. Remove the Legislative roadblocks, remove the Judicial roadblocks, and remove the freedom of the press to tell the truth and showcase the facts.
