Trump to Name AI Czar While Rejecting Safety Risks as a Hoax. (Bloomberg)
Ya gotta wonder just how much private money Trump and his family are receiving from the Tech Bros. I wonder if it is the same amount of grift that Trump and his cronies have already received from the Fossil Fuel Cartel; I mean, how many times has Trump declared windmills to be evil! Not to mention how ready Trump has been to open up US National Parks for mining.
And then Trump added this: “President Donald Trump said he would name an artificial intelligence czar as he continued to push tech companies to race ahead with development despite growing fears safety. He rejected concerns that the quickly evolving technology may pose risks to humans as a hoax, comparing it to the alarm over climate change and the scandals that led to his two impeachments during his first term.” (Bloomberg)
Greed is the only motive behind everything Trump does. With greed comes power. Power and greed seem unstoppable for Trump. Add to that the fawning parasites who also thrive on power and greed, and we have a very dangerous cocktail when drunk persuades a person that he or she is limitless in becoming a God-like creature.
So far, the Supreme Court has acquiesced to the wanton wishes of the wicked King. The checks and balances written in the Constitution are mainly words written in pencil for Trump and his allies, thanks to the hateful Republicans in power who despise American Democracy. Add to that his cult-like followers whose only priority is that Trump hates the people they hate, and there is little to no stopgap in place to stop Trump.
I strongly believe that as long as Trump can make a bigger buck, he will never weigh the health and safety, the morals or values, good over evil for anyone else but himself.
