Byron Donalds faces racist attacks in Florida’s ugly GOP gubernatorial primary The Trump-loving congressman is running for governor against an opponent who has continually referred to him as a slave. And he’s getting a taste of his own medicine. (MS NOW)
Byron Donalds is an American who happens to be black. He is a proud Republican who has, throughout his political career, defended Trump and the Republicans’ attacks on minorities, be it through very racist language, very racist government actions, or be it through right-wing Republican rhetoric! Byron Donalds has been a staunch ally of Trump, and has had no qualms in defending a man who brags about “good people on both sides,” and who has called largely populated nations with people of color as “shit hole nations.”
Byron Donalds somehow has dismissed the love affair the Republican Party has with such people as Nick Fuentes, Charlie Kirk, the Klan, the Oath Keepers, and Trump’s delight in racially gerrymandered districts. I am not sure I understand this, but I am not a person of color, so maybe I can’t complain.
But I am Jewish, and when I witness other Jewish Americans, like Mariam Adelson and Stephen Miller, who support Trump, and who support Trump’s support for racism, bigotry, and antisemitism, I grow angry! But I am a Gay man, and when I see people like Scott Bessent and Peter Tiehl, two Gay men, support and endorse Trump, as he belittles the LGBTQ community, I become irate and furious!
