We were told the BLACK LIVES MATTER were terrorists, but no words about Russians having Bounty Hunters paid to slaughter our troops in Afghanistan. The economy would thrive and survive, we were reminded, if any mention of unemployment, the desperation of living day to day, feeding your family or paying your rent, it was an empty promise of it will get so good you won’t believe just how GOOD!

fourth, 2020

This IS not a celebratory day, symbolizing a revolution from tyranny and oppression, it IS not a day when the Flag of Stars and Stripes reflects the union of many to care for the few; and it IS no longer a day in which we reflect and pretend that the history of what we have become was filled with perfect pretense and pure intention. Into what kind of nation have we morphed, or better yet, have we finally realized with even the best motives and rational we have yet to become united.

The Fourth of July, 2020, a tyrant runs around ignoring human rights, defies the science and medicine to save lives. A wannabe dictator lies and lays in the same bed as sworn enemies of the state. Minions of creatures once, only finding a home under rocks are now emerging and corrupting any ideals or ideas of independence and freedom. 

I love my country, but this birthday, I am not eager to celebrate its past, but wish for a future brighter, bigger and better!

I was walking the back roads of my new town North Truro, (on Thursday, July 2, 2020) situated on the Cape, admiring the quiet, watching the wild turkeys pecking and pawing at whatever turkeys decide is dinner, observing the variety of birds, seemingly flying free swooping and diving, had on my mask in case the occasional bike rider or jogger passed by, listening to the best of Crosby, Nash, Neil, and Young, recalling my years in college…almost living in a perfect day during a wonderful time, and just being in the Here and Now, albeit playing the music from a time long ago, when I thought the world could and would be mine! And then, the Road by happenstance is named Yellow Brick Road, I saw two signs on the lawn each stating Black Lives Matter. I smiled and thought even here in the midst of a nomads environment sane people dwell, and sensible people understand what is important and what is not. But alas, this sudden jolt back into reality caused my brain to once again perseverate and run amuck, declaring, to me, Trump is still alive, he is still in office, and he is still a schmuck, and most importantly, there are minions of mindless bigots who worship his every movement; no matter how phony or plastic, and are still the problem and not the solution.

So even with the best of CSNY blaring in my earbuds, I began to think and realized I needed to vocalize via my blog, my disgust with what reality has turned into, nothing but hypocrisy. I returned home and out of pure habit had MSNBC spilling the latest beans on the nonsense which has become our politics and after 10 minutes of being reminded how selfish some Americans have been, and perhaps always were, I turned off the TV, and returned to my trusty computer, my brain awash with all too much indecent incidents of regarding the bull shit of the MAGA and the Republican Party who so well enables all of the crazy which is Trump.

More folks are all pissy and pouty that their personal freedoms are being denied ranging from their inability to get plastered on alcohol at their favorite bar, old geezers unable to ride their golf carts, or play golf, young dudes who feel that the steroids they take make them immune to COVID, so gyms should be open for them, to the females who say girls just want to have fun. And I said to MYSELF…what the fuck…ya want to talk about NO FREEDOM and THIS BEING A FREE COUNTRY…well here are some real examples douchebags! The LGBTQ community still has to worry about walking down the street holding hands and even coming out at their workplace. Females are still being denied access to health clinics, from which they should be able to freely decide about their reproductive anatomy and their choices on abortion…people of color still have to worry that just being black or brown carries a stigma looking like a round circle for target practice. Dreamers, born and raised or brought to this nation as young kids are still paranoid and wondering if they will be returned to a country which is a foreign country for them. Muslims and other non-Christians must worry that the God they believe in is not as American as Jesus, and even if you believe in Jesus and are not an American Evangelical Baptist, you too have wonder if you will have permission to pray. Damn, it just won’t stop, even when I think I have a moment of peace, the hypocrisy and self-serving privilege of a select group of fucked up folks still flows in the air as would the stench of a landfill overflowing from toilet waste!

AND yet NOW that Trump is aware of the BOUNTY HUNTER Putin, and his attempt to MURDER American Troops, Trump dismisses this as a HOAX.

Speaking to Fox Business’s Blake Burman on Wednesday, the president again speculated that, perhaps, the virus will simply pack up and leave.

“I think we’re going to be very good with the coronavirus,” Trump said. “I think that, at some point, that’s going to sort of disappear, I hope.”

“You still believe so?” replied Burman. “Disappear?”

“Well, I do, I do,” Trump replied. “Yeah, sure.” Trump’s assurance about the virus disappearing is simply that it is a claim he’s made time and again. By our count, including Wednesday’s mention, Trump has claimed on at least 19 occasions that the virus will go away. Over and over and over, the same assurance. All along, Trump has considered the Chinese Flu/the Pelosi, Progressive Virus/and the Kung Flu a HOAX.

Be it on our own shores, this land called “America the Beautiful,” or in places people in America had never once been able to discover on a map like Afghanistan, Trump’s HOAX, and defiance of facts or science, or reality is just simply put MURDER! Here are some words synonymous with MURDER: agony/hell/horror/misery/nightmare/torment/torture. Words related to MURDER: killing/manslaughter/bloodshed/butchery/carnage/annihilate/eradicate. TELL ME AGAIN, how does a HOAX, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

It is the first day of July! July 1, 2020, and as the seventh month of one of the longest years in history is upon us, we have endured a series of events, which seem to pile on, pile up, push us down, and want to count us out. Summer’s here and the time is not right for dancing in any street, because along with you are the invisible army of a virus with spindly tentacles waiting to grab onto your lungs, seeping un-serendipitously via your nose, your eyes your mouth and as you dance all they want is to smother you with unloving veracity! And as dangerous as these invisible villains might be, those who sneak up on us and catch us off guard, it the right in your face newly anointed villains who we should fear more than ever. It’s the folks who prefer to proudly spit in your face and say my freedom is more valuable than your health. No one tells ME what to when I don’t want to do it, and if anyone is going to be the boss it is me and m selfish motives; motives with no meaning except to make me feel exceptional! And the CORONAVIRUS  is no longer a medical or scientific item or a fete of nature demonstrating the power and veracity of something bigger than all of us, no it has become a tool, a weapon, a light bulb on a porch on a summer evening, a ruse, and excuse a trick by Trump to divide the smart from the dumb, the ignorant from the intelligent, and the American who thinks patriotism is not being a member of the village but owning the village and banning those they believe are inferior!

It is July 1, 2020. It is 126 days until what might seem like the coming of a New Year, or 126 days until we stop counting years and begin finding ourselves in an endless dystopia, a form of a Russian Gulag Archipelago.  Our Troops have become targets shoot one, kill two murder three or more, and win a Bounty. Our president knew nothing, then knew something, then knows not at all what happened. We are led to believe from a team of liars that way back as in March of 2019 when the news of paying the Taliban to murder American Troops, even though the facts were frightening enough to share with German and Great Britain, those same facts were not fit for Humpty Trumpty, because if he heard about them he might fall off the wall. Don’t nobody bring me no bad news, his cowering spineless Flying Monkeys were told, especially if that news was in regard to Putin. So fuck the security and safety of American women and men in uniform, if Putin was doing bad things, telling Trump would only make the mad hatter even madder. And now, we still hear crickets from the Senators of the Republican Party, we are to be more concerned about the leaking of the story so the politically positioned INTEL Chiefs tell us. And Trump acts shocked and demurs’ and denies and deflects.

Black Lives Matter, we are told, except, some police continue to play ROBO-COP. Children are still imprisoned in Concentration Camps made from defunct Wal Mart Warehouses. Good Nazis and Confederates roam the streets acting as well-armed militias and no one is calling them traitors. Masks are a political plaything until the Liberal Hoax hits the Red States, then it is suddenly something take seriously. A PANDEMIC  is just for Third World Countries and is still considered one more Progressive overreach by the government to remove personal freedoms. Unemployment is catastrophic, except for those whose income was so high, that the Trump Administration decided they had too much money and needed not to pay taxes. States whose record’s on voter fraud, initiated by their Republican-led legislators and Governors now are trying to convince the inane and insane that real voter fraud (you know closing polling places last minute, leaving boxes of ballots in some basement, intimidation at the voting station will disappear and so will the chances of Republicans victories) can only happen by mail-in-voting.  And I think of the lyrics from the play ‘Pippin’, I've got to be where my spirit can run free.
