That is not so Christian… It seems if the matter of health care comes up and is spoken from the words of President Obama and is designed to encourage better living, healthier living, equality in coverage for health then it is not so Christian. Seems that a true God, Jesus for the Christian community, would not want all his flock to stay healthy, maintain their health, or have the same access to health care, say, as do the wealthy in this country. If the Muslim loving, non citizen Black President wants it, it is not God’s doing. So to hell with Jesus’ flock they say (the ones closer to God) anyone would be better off dead then have any organized medical coverage.
DETROIT — A federal judge on Thursday rejected an attempt to stop some key provisions of the new national health-care law, saying Congress has the authority to require people to get insurance by 2014.
The ruling — the first in a challenge to the Obama administration's health care overhaul — came in a lawsuit filed in Michigan by a Christian legal group, the Thomas More Law Center, and four people who claimed lawmakers exceeded their power under the Constitution's commerce clause. AP Press
That’s not so American… All citizens in this country are not created equal and it takes a self righteous fear toting man to decide just who is. George Bush may have been the ‘decider’ but Senator Jim DeMint is the ‘determiner’ or is that the ‘terminator’. The Senator from South Carolina has apparently climbed the mount spoke with God, the same God who wrote the Constitution of the United States and has decided that certain people born, raised, living in the US are demon seeds. Senator DeMint all cleansed and cleaned of any sin will now bring back the good old days of witch hunts (glorious period of history for this country kind of like the days of Anita Bryant in 1978) and will determine who has the morals and ethics to teach American youth.
Have you heard the outrageous comments from Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., who has anointed himself as America’s morality police chief?
DeMint thinks America is on a downward spiral because of gay teachers and single women who have premarital sex. If he had his way, he would banish teachers who are single women having sexual relations with their boyfriends and he would not hire educators who are gay or lesbian. SDGLN
That is so not big government…It seems BIG government is too BIG when it is not dispensing the ‘do not’s’ of those who would like to control the lives of those around them. It is too BIG when the rich are not getting richer, when the lobbyists are not happy, when the common man or woman is being served. There is too much government when it helps educate or medicate or mediate or manage the daily stresses of life, and is not BIG enough when it just ‘ain’t’ Christian enough!
In a segment that has gone unnoticed since it first aired, the Tea Party-backed candidate Sharron Angle told the Bill Manders show -- a favorable platform for Republican candidates -- that she opposed abortion even in cases of rape and incest. A pregnancy under those circumstances, she said, was "God's plan." Huffington Post
So the mid term elections are coming up and there is still a sense in this country to ‘throw the bums out’. There is outrage that those in office are not as attuned to the needs of the average American and they need to be taught a lesson on how true Americans really want to be treated. Really! Americans want to stay with no medical coverage, go back to witch hunts, become a Christian nation?
We still have some time to bring back intelligence, fairness, consensus, equality in this great country of ours. I amaze that we still are talking about the crazies from the Republican/Tea Bagger Party still having a chance to be elected. If we want to teach those ‘damn’ politicians a lesson by, ‘throwing the bums out’, just who do we think will really pay the consequences when we vote in the Republican/Tea Bag Brigade?!!!!
