Bye Bye

Too dangerous to decide, the value of an everyday existence for the common man or woman, versus the perceived cost of losing a few billionaire donors whose tax-free existence in this country which blossomed each day with tax breaks, and lax environmental and corporate rules and regulations, initiated by Republican politicians, the cowardly paid to perform like a circus act, GOP declared they needed a break, leaving DC, and millions of individuals, and small business people not only in the lurch but in an angst-filled void, flooded with the wary and woe do I pay my rent, feed my family, take care of my medical bills.

Seems that the so-called Republican Deficit Darlings had no problem in cutting taxes for the ultra-wealthy, forging ahead with their dedication to the ever exasperating “TRICKLE DOWN /VOODOO ECONOMICS’” of Ronnie and Nancy Reagan, who at the time, never liked a guy or gal who wanted a fair share of the pie. But suddenly when a Pandemic/ inciting an economic downturn so evasive as to almost mimic the Great Depression, appears like a pie in your face, and people are counting on a government of the people by the people and for the people, to not only lend an ear, or a heart let alone a HAND, SUDDENLY the GOP can’t stomach the fact that deficit spending is necessary because people are dying both physically and economically!

The Congress is still receiving their salary, their perks, their medical coverage. The Congress, the folks we supposedly elected to represent the people made from the elements of the universe, have left DC to travel home, pretending they need either a rest from doing nothing (it takes a lot of effort to participate in something known as APPROACH-AVOIDANCE, and instead they are considering the needs and wants, wishes and well-being of the corporations, things not people, but for whom the ACTIVIST JURISTS ON THE SUPREME COURT  created as people. And each day, hour, minute and second, the CONGRESS huffs and puffs it is our house and lives are the ones getting blown to shreds. And if any of them really, truly cared, they would have never left DC, and said bye, bye America too bad!
