Reuters photographer Jonathan Ernst captured an image of the inside of a folder of notes Bondi referred to during questioning by Whitehouse. But her notes had nothing to do with her work as leader of the Department of Justice, or even the embattled border czar. Rather, Bondi had collected screenshots of social media posts, prewritten comebacks, and handwritten notes she hoped could give her a good “gotcha” moment. (The New Republic)
“The Gotcha Moment!” It has nothing to do with facts, has zero substance, is a whole bunch of show with absolutely no tell, and it is what makes the folks at FOX cream in their pants with utter delight!
Deflect, ignore, demure, play the victim, but never, EVER, answer the question. If truth will set you free, prefer being in jail with your own lies and misdeeds. And so this was the game Pam Bondi decided to play, Pam Bondi, you know, the person who is the US Attorney General, the head honcho of what is supposed to be America’s law and order department.
