ZOMBIE LOVERS

I have always been a Zombie fan. Whether it was the Zombies from the Caribbean nations coming alive with spells from voodoo priestess shown on Chiller Theater a local and most amazing Saturday night Pittsburgh horror fest, or George Romeo’s ‘Night of the Living Dead’ to the ‘Walking Dead’ and beyond. Like most ideas as they grow from infancy, the whole genre of Zombie movies has transformed evolved and re-evolved. There used to be very strict rules regarding Zombie behavior (And just like all the new permissible rules we have for Vampires), things have changed. It seems in many a Zombie movie, we now see characters who understand the soul of the person they once loved is dead, but somehow keeping that UN-DEAD person alive is most important. One could view this as unconditional love, I view it as selfish love, serving the needs only of the ALIVE person.

When I watch, with great angst, anger, and aggravation, anything, Trump on television followed by remarks from his puppets or worse the phony Republican politicians, my mind flashes the words BEWARE THE ZOMBIE. Pretending that they (people like Ryan, Mccain, McConnell) have a conscious, and truly think America is Beautiful, have recently managed to pretend they are appalled at the words clearly spoken by Trump…but they NEVER, EVER…no matter how disgusting, how un-truthful, how Un-American, the vile and vomit ejects from Trump’s orifices, the majority of Republican politicians,STILL state they WILL support Trump. BEWARE THE ZOMBIE, and THE ZOMBIE LOVER.

It seems as the Republican party decides that Party TRUMPS Country, we have more and more ZOMBIE LOVERS. Many Republicans understand Trump is a dead soul. They see how he can infect large groups of people with his racist, bigoted rhetoric (Just like a Zombie infects the folks it bites). Yet, these ZOMBIE LOVERS prefer to protect Trump, hoping in doing so they can protect their own political positions. The Republicans have always insisted it is their party to keep America safe, but somehow, that safety NEVER, EVER means stopping the TRUMP ZOMBIE from continuing to run wild and ravage this nation. Trump is one ZOMBIE, I totally afraid of.

You're Purty

For all you ‘purty’ Lassies who work (You do know the Evangelical Jesus prefers you stay home, cook the meals for your master and lie down and let him produce more kids), but if you are a Gal who feels a bit contrarian toward any orthodox religious discrimination toward women and happen to earn a pay check, Donald Trump and his acorn son, Donnie Junior (Misogynistic insecure males never fall too far from their Daddy’s wallet), have some Manly words of advice for you.

On Tuesday, both Daddio Donnie and is son Daddio Junior, when asked about the many complaints by female employees who worked for Roger Ailes (at the propaganda headquarters for the Republican Party, FOX) regarding HIS workplace sexual harassment accusations; both Trumpies did not miss a beat and played their usual game of avoidance. In the manner America has become accustomed to, neither men answered the question about both the illegality of sexual harassment or their thoughts about Mr Ailes alleged actions.  Nope, instead of being forthright and honest both men stated very clearly that it was the female who needed to be more assertive. Go to PR and complain…just quit…find another job for God’s sake. 

Yep you ‘Working Girls’, shit happens, so deal with it. You are a female, what do you expect? If you had the same balls as your male supervisor, you wouldn’t complain that he broke the law…no indeedio…pick up your too frail little missy ego and get another job. Men are just being men, come on this is America or at least the America of the 1950’s.

“How can he top that”, many of us who want democracy to at least survive a little longer in this nation, EXCLAIM! But Trump does even better. He not only tops it but goes to the next extreme to do so. Those who only need to hear the soothing words from a Cult leader assuring them that the faults in this world are NEVER of their making but THOSE of the enemies around them, encourage bigger, better and the most outrageous statement.And he complies. On Tuesday, he called Hillary the Devil and did not silence one of his cultist Trump Youth Brigade followers when he continued to call Hillary a Bitch. With no sense of obligation to anyone but himself, he continues to disparage, degrade, and deploy the most vulgar, venomous and vile rhetoric. All narcissists care about is SELF. Trumps only cares that he may be found out and his response is just one more empty promise of threats.

Donald Trump is Freddy Kruger who has stepped out of your dreams and now is willing to slash your throat in the daylight while you are wide awake. He has in the past been permitted to do so by a media enamored by the ratings he brought to their corporate masters. He has been permitted to do by the Pray for Pay nasty bunch of Evangelicals who read the 11th Commandment as thou shall be a hypocrite. And as I said earlier, by a population permeated with lies, bigotry, re-writes of history, and a love for country, called the Confederate States of America.

“How can we stop him”, many of us scream in fear. But what we get in response is almost as frightening as the mad man we are trying to stop from becoming the President of the USA. The majority of current elected Republicans, so afraid of their bigoted base, insist that Trumps words in NO way represent the Republican Party, but the cowards these Republican politicians have become, they stop and even in John McCain’s case, get pissy that we would have the audacity to ask them to Un-Endorse Trump. The reply from these band of spineless anarchists is “He is our parties choice. Party over Country (Something, most active Communist nations, and those countries run by dictators recite every day). Or we hear supposedly intelligent reporters/journalists try to ask questions, many with a simple yes or no, only to be embarrassed by inane and insane non responses of the surrogates, providing nothing more but campaign bullshit. For me, Donald Trump will run away, deny, and lie and in his world there are no consequences for those behaviors. I am afraid of this man, but I am VERY, VERY scared of those who have the power to diminish the flames of hate and refuse to do so. And I am most worried, that win or lose this nation will suffer. Trump wins, freedom dies. Trump loses many Americans will still die, as his band of militia will demand a revolution.  

I CRINGE

I cringe, find myself feeling nauseated, every time I listen to a Republican Trump apologist make the following comments…He (Trump) is a novice at running an election campaign, when his handlers talk to him, he (Trump) gets it and is less offensive, the next time. Cut the guy a break, they say, he’s new to this and as long as he states his hateful comments no harm no foul!… Then of course they must break into the cheatin’, lyin’ Hillary trope trying defer the truth about Trump and make it Hillary who is the one not to trust. And then I am even more disgusted when the interviewer refuses to ask a simple question which should sound like this: There are countless of hateful, biased, bigoted and racist comments that Trump has made about others. There are a whole slew of comments made about himself, ALL when fact checked are not true. So even when you insist to cut the guy (a break) you NEVER talk about Trumps’ lies. So how do you say Hillary is the one no to trust….

I cringe even more, when I then hear these Republican Trump surrogates smirk and say, do you really think Paul Ryan and Mitch Mcconnell, will permit Trump to override the Constitution? I of course know that the current batch of so called political interviewers will never respond with this question: “Well according to the Constitution the Senate has the responsibility to at least hold a hearing on a Supreme Court nominee no matter which party holds the office of president. OR, If a majority of American citizens are in favor of at least some discussion about gun violence and gun safety why wouldn’t the Speaker of the House Paul Ryan at least acquiesce to a floor discussion then a vote. PA-LEEZE, don’t tell me that Mcconnell and Ryan will be the watchdogs of the Constitution if Trump is president.

I NOT only cringe but actually go into convulsions when Trump is asked a yes or no question, changes the subject, pretends he never said or immediately blame Obama or Clinton, and the interviewer does not respond: This is a yes or no question Mr Trump. Then they should ask the same question and when the Trump dance of denial begins again, the interviewers don’t respond by saying: Because you can not answer a simple yes or no question, we have nothing more to discuss.  For Trump, NO interviews…Being called out for his lack of honor…Told just answer the question…would be like Vampires either walking into the sun and catching on fire, or running out of blood to suck. 

McCain

"Arizona is watching," Sen. McCain said in a lengthy statement. "It is time for Donald Trump to set the example for our country and the future of the Republican Party. While our Party has bestowed upon him the nomination, it is not accompanied by unfettered license to defame those who are the best among us.”

Sorry Senator McCain, a cop out is still a cop out no matter how much red white and blue you try to decorate it or camouflage the truth. Senator McCain, when you joined the Navy as a pilot and fought in Viet Nam, that was a brave and patriotic action. You stood behind the Preamble: “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” You returned from the war not only a hero, but with an understanding that life, liberty and the pursuit of freedom is who we are as Americans. You began your political career, defining yourself as a “maverick”. 

But then Senator McCain, still a hero from your unquestionable service in Viet Nam, your “maverick” persona seemed to drip from your body and you replaced that lost blood, with a poison not of national service but of personal gain. Unvetted, uncaring, thinking that a female on the ticket would be equal to Hillary Clinton winning the Democrat primaries, you permitted your team to pick up a Conservative insect living under a rock, and found Sarah Palin. You never were brave enough to admit your failure in doing so. Sadly your Republican Party became a Tea Party, and once again personal gain was your strategy and there was no more trace of “maverick” to be seen. This year, the Republicans of Arizona have moved so far right,  permitting the bigots and racists,to lead the party, and you have joined in the dance of deceit. Your quote regarding Donald Trump is a good one, congratulations for finding your backbone. You would have found your balls had you added, I CAN NO LONGER SUPPORT THIS DANGEROUS MAN AGAINST DEMOGRAPHY. No hero here Sir, just another Republican politicians putting self interest against the interest of a nation.

ACTION not WORDS

They present this image of sounding so heroic, Senator John McCain, Majority Leader Mitch Mcconnell and Speaker Paul Ryan, telling us that Humayun Khan is a hero and that his parents, Khizr and Ghazala had every right to speak about their son’s heroism. The Senator, the Majority Leader and the House Speaker ALL said how Un-American Donald trumps word sounded. All three men wore their red, white and blue pin lapels on their suits, shaking their heads in disgust, thinking that their words about Donald Trumps statement would be enough.

Not enough for me. If these three Republican politicians were really concerned with America, they would better understand that their words of condemnation of their Party’s nominee are nothing more then feel good propaganda; their action of denouncing Trump and telling us (In the same indignant tone) that they CAN NO LONGER support Trump would be bravery. Humayun Khan understood that words can suffice for the moment but actions make the person real, lost his life doing so. Once again, AMERICA, we witness the cowards pretending that country comes first, when the only truth for these there politicians is that Party, self preservation in politics TRUMPS county.

I am not surprised, or shocked, because it is often the case with our current hybrid Tea/Fascist/Christian Evangelical Republicans bunch of bullies, they believe all you need is WORDS to make a point…ACTION is too intimidating to their base of lemmings, REALLY to threatening to their own political ambitions. The real words should be, we no longer support Trump and their actions should be to continuously campaign against him.

NECESSARY

It seems the NECESSARY, becomes too messy, and the easiest way around IT, is AVOIDANCE. The IMMEDIATE is more refreshing, then pursuing the FUTURE. Say IT QUICKLY, consider IT for later, ACT on IT never, and by all means forget IT’S RELEVANCE. Because, anything NECESSARY takes too much ENERGY to find its FRUITION.

I think about all of this, trying to discover some kind of sane rational, reason or rhyme, as how one Could, why any one Would, why you think you Should vote for Donald Trump. Is voting for Trump just easier then spending anytime thinking? Is supporting Trump,some kind of fun and thats what this nation needs more of? Is adoration of plastic people a thing? OR, is it that those who claim Trump Or Die, are really  serious about the dying part?

Republican leadership can’t Dump Trump because as cowards they are always afraid of their base of bigots. So instead of calling OUT Trump in particular, they either disagree with his meandering and meaningless statements, OR blame Hillary for causing this brouhaha for ever beginning. The media can’t control Trump and are played just like the all the victims of a good con. It seems the media tries to get a YES or NO answer from Trump and all they receive is BETTER< BEST and MOST. The NECESSARY is NEEDED and what do we get instead…NOT NOW!
