I cringe, find myself feeling nauseated, every time I listen to a Republican Trump apologist make the following comments…He (Trump) is a novice at running an election campaign, when his handlers talk to him, he (Trump) gets it and is less offensive, the next time. Cut the guy a break, they say, he’s new to this and as long as he states his hateful comments no harm no foul!… Then of course they must break into the cheatin’, lyin’ Hillary trope trying defer the truth about Trump and make it Hillary who is the one not to trust. And then I am even more disgusted when the interviewer refuses to ask a simple question which should sound like this: There are countless of hateful, biased, bigoted and racist comments that Trump has made about others. There are a whole slew of comments made about himself, ALL when fact checked are not true. So even when you insist to cut the guy (a break) you NEVER talk about Trumps’ lies. So how do you say Hillary is the one no to trust….
I cringe even more, when I then hear these Republican Trump surrogates smirk and say, do you really think Paul Ryan and Mitch Mcconnell, will permit Trump to override the Constitution? I of course know that the current batch of so called political interviewers will never respond with this question: “Well according to the Constitution the Senate has the responsibility to at least hold a hearing on a Supreme Court nominee no matter which party holds the office of president. OR, If a majority of American citizens are in favor of at least some discussion about gun violence and gun safety why wouldn’t the Speaker of the House Paul Ryan at least acquiesce to a floor discussion then a vote. PA-LEEZE, don’t tell me that Mcconnell and Ryan will be the watchdogs of the Constitution if Trump is president.
I NOT only cringe but actually go into convulsions when Trump is asked a yes or no question, changes the subject, pretends he never said or immediately blame Obama or Clinton, and the interviewer does not respond: This is a yes or no question Mr Trump. Then they should ask the same question and when the Trump dance of denial begins again, the interviewers don’t respond by saying: Because you can not answer a simple yes or no question, we have nothing more to discuss. For Trump, NO interviews…Being called out for his lack of honor…Told just answer the question…would be like Vampires either walking into the sun and catching on fire, or running out of blood to suck.
