Wooden ships on the water very free and easy
Easy, you know the way it's supposed to be
Silver people on the shoreline let us be
Talkin' 'bout very free and easy (Crosby, Stills, Nash)
Any excursion, any experience, any expectation can be filled with angst and the possibilities of why not; but WHY NOT, just free and easy? Stay docked at the wharf, plant your feet firmly on terra firma, linger in the lost, dive into the denial! OR be free and easy, seeking the sights seemingly blinded by hindsight instead of the glorious glow flooded with foresight.
Journey’s need not only be on oceans with the frenzy of maddening waves, but more like sojourns upon the sea’s with the ebb and flow of chance, choice and the consideration of consequences both tedious and triumphant. Wooden ships…sailing, AND as the captain it’s our decision to decide the next destination.
