we the who?

Written in 1787, ratified in 1788, and in operation since 1789, The United States Constitution is the world's longest surviving written charter of government. Its first three words – “We The People” – affirm that the government of the United States exists to serve its citizens. (Senate.gov)

The Supreme Court is the Nation's highest court. Eight Associate Justices and one Chief Justice comprise the membership of the Court. Like all Federal judges, Supreme Court Justices serve lifetime appointments on the Court, in accordance with Article III of the United States Constitution. (Google)

Federal Judges: They are nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate, pursuant to the Appointments Clause of Article Two of the U.S. Constitution. The U.S. Constitution gives federal judges life tenure, and they hold their seats until they die, resign, or are removed from office by impeachment. The premise behind instituting lifetime appointments was to reinforce the judiciary's role as an independent branch of the U.S. Government. (Google)

WHY! A life time. A whole lot longer than the President who appointed them is permitted to remain in office, BUT so far, because the Senate has NO TERM-LIMITS, almost as long as many Senators who, for POLITICAL REASONS AND MOTIVATION, vote for them to remain in the office!

WHY! A LIFE TIME! The same people, for decades to come, remain free and able to continue a prejudice, and irrational jurisdiction not based on the values and requirements of current society, BUT on stale and personal bias…demonstrated in the past few years based on Religious Dogma and Plain and Pitiful Politics.

If, “We The People” – affirm that the government of the United States exists to serve its citizens. (Senate.gov). was the intention, but “We The People” are replaced by LIFE TIME people, who EXACTLY is it with the power to govern?
