The sideshow is no longer of interest to me. The circus has come to town and all of its crafty, sparkly bling has left me numb, not from the lights, glitz or glamour, but from the sad makeup on the clowns, the caged animals, the poor guys following the elephants sweeping up the giant turds dripping, the performers who now have arthritis and whose elbow and wrist joints crack as they reach for the high wire rope, and who can hardly raise their hips to sit upon some wooden slat, which may or may not swing from one side of the Big Curtain to the other. Con men, with their sleight of hand, and smoke and mirrors, the fast-talking barkers, the fat lady reading your palms, all have used up each and every trick, and sadly you can see the string that once looked invisible which kept all of these grifters active, sagging and in some cases ready to snap!
It took me only a few seconds to watch as the Dems played pretend Democracy by holding a hearing on contempt charges regarding William Barr’s instance to ignore his Constitutional Duties, and not releasing the Mueller report to the Judiciary Committee. The camera focused on the same spot where William Barr had not appeared before this committee a week prior, and the same spot I assume Don Mc Ghan was to have sat and provided the American public with facts, not cherry-picked fiction as the Trump Crime Family would prefer.
I tried to get involved with playtime at the House of Representatives, watching a stern Jerry Nadler acting in what he considered the best interest of the law of the land, but then, James Daniel Jordan (is the U.S. Representative for Ohio's 4th congressional district, serving since 2007, as well as the current Ranking Member of the House Oversight Committee. He is a member of the Republican Party, and a founding member of the Freedom Caucus.), with his shirt sleeves rolled up, no prissy sports coat for him, all disheveled, leaning into the microphone, as if he was sitting at the bar asking for another boilermaker, and ran his mouth as if he was at the Daytona 500, and began spewing distortion, distraction, and actually diarrhea of the mouth filled with ALL the evidence he needed that Trump is innocent, it was Hillary and the Russian, the FBI is the Compromised Agents in this scenario, and all the Dems want is to take down the honest, the sincere, the Christ-like Trump. Jim (Freedom Caucus) Jordan was finished with his re-election video stunt, and Chairman Nadler continued with the Side-Show.
Before sighing so loud, that my dog Chance looked at me as if I was about to die, a quick spark of indignity or maybe indigestion came over me, and I wondered, when will the Dems start playing by the street, the gritty urban street rules that the Republicans have set in motion, way back when McConnell instructed his GANG of GOP to defy anything, Obama! Turned off the TV, and realized I have a blog to write!
