Chief Justice Roberts has shown, if anything, more concern for his donors at the Heritage Foundation than the principles of the US Constitution. He and his band of owned and operated court jesters decided that an Imperial presidency was the way to go and that the president is above all kinds of laws that would place an ordinary citizen in jail.
As is usually the case, Roberts finds himself on the attack end of Trump's machinations and suddenly feels the same kind of threat towards his power that Trump delights in destroying and diminishing from others.
Victor Frankenstein is a fictional character who first appeared as the titular main protagonist of Mary Shelley's 1818 novel, Frankenstein; he created a monster and found that controlling such a creature is impossible. John Roberts helped create the monster Trump and is the one with blood on his hands, and he is trying to wash that blood away!
