aspirin between your legs

Foster Freiss, the wealthy investor bankrolling a super PAC for GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum, appeared on MSNBC Thursday to argue that social issues are largely irrelevant.

“This contraception thing, my gosh, it's so inexpensive,” Freiss told host Andrea Mitchell. “You know, back in my days, they'd use Bayer aspirin for contraceptives. The gals put it between their knees and it wasn't that costly.”

And Mr. Freiss is the billionaire whose dollars and influence pave the way for Mr. Santorum’s hate, loathing and bigotry to move forward and perhaps move into the White House.

Mr. Freiss recalls those wonderful days of yester’ year, the days when a coat hangar was an able assistant to terminate a pregnancy (Gee, a woman could go into her closet remove that old winter coat and apply generously) very little overhead cost to that. No hangars, try the shed down by the creek drink a shot of whiskey and have some lady in a babushka try her best.

The Evangelical Christians who are the base of the slime that call themselves Republican/Tea Party voters have declared war on the poor, the ill the Gay and now the Women. Based on a sour attempt to interpret the Bible as a book with greater power than the U.S. Constitution, this group of heretics, swear God is on their side and has granted them permission to hate the health and welfare, fair and equal of some Americans.

The sarcasm, the sinister, the insincerity, the lack of respect for personal freedom the salivation at the mention of sex, sexual practices of others, the disregard for dignity, the arrogance toward life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness encouraged by those whose own life is limp, limited and and loser shouts loud and proud.

...Bayer aspirin between the legs, women as chattel, rape as a gift, personhood at inception, internal trans-vaginal ultrasound wonder who and what is next...

In Germany they came first for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up." (First They Came... by Martin Neimoller).
