“See Something, Say Something,” cute phrase, huh? It is even kind of catchy, makes you feel so empowered. Bull Shit. Today I saw the Federal Reserve cut interest rates after Trump threatened its leadership. Now we are talking about Trump, the guy who has gone into bankruptcies with his personal investments, the guy who is so afraid to provide his tax returns for fear that we will all discover how much in debt he has become to whom he is indebted to…this guy has threatened the federal Reserve into changing their predictions, which in the end will result in two things, a fucked-up economy and lots of tax revenue coming Trump’s way! So what I see IS one more US Institution erased of its power and status and grabbed by the Executive Branch leaving the US with even less “checks and balances,” then say yesterday!
First it was the Republican Party (that was easy as those politicians hated democracy what with it’s ideal of one person one vote, then it was the division between church and state, again, easy because, the Evangelicals never wanted this country to be free from a national religion, and Putin had photos of Falwell Jr. and his cadre of boys, Trump promised Huckabee Senior that his inept, unintelligent daughter would have a place in the spotlight, and told Franklin Graham, have at the Gays, and oh yeah Trump lied to the ultra-Christian treasonous Mercer family by pretending that Mike Pence, the first or second Gay VP would have leeway in the Trump Administration. Then it was the office of the Attorney General, which, finally when William Barr, (just unzip your pants Donald and I am your court jester) became the private attorney for Trump. There was the Supreme Court, permitting a co-sexual harassment dude, along with Clarence Thomas and Trump himself, to become a Justice, and now the Federal Reserve…all falling into place as Trump begins to declare himself Chairman or King, not certain which title he relishes!
And now there is talk of another tax cut. One which is courted with smoke and mirrors. Most of this tax cut will remove any taxes Trump and his Crime Family pay, he is promoting it as a Middle-Class tax cut…but for all you eager beavers who believe in the Flat Earth…here is the thing…#Moscow Mitch will cry false tears and say to YOUR faces, as the deficit grows again…it is the Entitlement Programs which are the culprit. Now all you MAGA/Farmers/Coal Miners/so-called Real Americans who still fly the Confederate Flag, YOU…yes YOU will reap the negative results of this newest tax cut and cut in interest rates. HOW? Because the word ENTITLEMENT, the word you think means SOCIALISM or Black People, includes YOUR Social Security checks, your Medicare payments, your Food Assistance, your lack of affordable health care, and no more possible way for YOU to be educated enough to earn a living other than NOT doing the jobs that the Immigrants from Mexico and Central America readily perform!
So, today I saw something and have been saying something…but the silence and the blindness of most Americans is not only amazing but deadly!
