go figure

“Knowledge is responsibility, which is why people resist knowledge.” ― Stefan Molyneux
“Silence is a lie that screams at the light.” ― Shannon L. Alder
“The first stage of ignorance is illusion, due to lack of exposure to reality
The second stage of ignorance is delusion, or the refusal to acknowledge reality.
The third stage of ignorance is the rejection of altruism.” ― Justin K. McFarlane Beau
Ryan McCarthy On September 26, 2019, Ryan McCarthy was confirmed as the Secretary of the Army and was sworn into office on September 30, 2019. The Secretary has remained quiet as the so-called church mouse, in speaking out against the threats, the slander, the innuendo, and outright accusation that by doing his job protecting the Constitution and not the Trump criminal behavior against one his truly Patriotic Troops.

Tuesday, November 19, 2019 Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the National Security Council’s Ukraine expert, Testified before lawmakers on the House Intelligence Committee. He was immediate, surrounded by the GOP, all of them attempting to dismiss the crimes committed by Trump, but rather make Lt. Col. Vindman the bad dude, excusing any and all behavior of the Commander-In-Chief. Rep. Jim Himes, D-Conn, coming to the aid of Lt. Col. Vindman, replied“ The three minutes that were spent asking you about the offer made to make you the minister of defense, that may have been cloaked in a Brooks Brothers suit and in parliamentary language, that was designed exclusively to give the right-wing media an opening to question your loyalties,” “I want people to understand what that was all about. It’s the kind of attack — it’s the kind of thing you say when you’re defending the indefensible,” he said. Laura Ingraham, during her comedy hour, kind of like the TV show Hee-Haw, for the mentally challenged Republican viewer, questioned the patriotism and loyalty of National Security Council member, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman.

Defense Secretary Mark T. Esper asked for the resignation of Navy Secretary Richard V. Spencer on Sunday after losing confidence in him over his handling of the case of a Navy SEAL accused of war crimes in Iraq, the Pentagon said.
Spencer’s ouster was another dramatic turn in the story of Chief Petty Officer Edward Gallagher, a Navy SEAL who was accused of committing war crimes during a 2017 deployment. Gallagher was acquitted of murder but convicted in July of posing with the corpse of an Islamic State prisoner.

A truth-teller, a member of the Military who believed in the morals and values not only of the United States and Constitution but of his duties as a soldier, is lambasted and lampooned by the Republican Party as ragtag cultist group dedicated to suppressing facts, while a criminal, an arrogant son of a bitch, cocky dude, ignores all precedent and practice retains his war hero status, lauded and applauded by the GOP. One might ask the question, “Go figure…” but then reality is nothing but a dream, replaced with a nightmare of deceit and distrust, and the demise of democracy!
