MOURNING

June 1, 2021, the day after Memorial Day, the day after the day set aside to memorialize those who have placed country before self, purpose before pride, the village before the mere mortal, and fruitful above feckless. And yet as we face the dawn of the summer season, a kind of rebirth from the disease of the CORONAVIRUS, from which we sought shelter, hid our smiles, hoped for health, wished away the onslaught of the ignorant, it is not necessarily MORNING GLOW we heed but a MOURNING BLOW to the foundation of a nations freedom, laws, fair play, justice and the demise of democracy.

 

Think about the energy and enthusiasm, ALL negative and dangerous, put forth by the DOMESTIC TERRORISTS, identified as the REPUBLICAN PARTY, the men and women who to this moment support, caress, cheer on, lie for, cover-up and continue to ENABLE Donald Trump; whose agenda fits perfectly well into the vile and venomous schemes of Vladimir Putin. When asked at a rally in Dallas, "I want to know why what happened in Myanmar can't happen here?" a member of the audience, who identified himself as a Marine asked Michael Flynn (Trump's first national security adviser), appeared ready to endorse a Myanmar-style coup in the United States on Sunday) as HE responded, "No reason, I mean, it should happen here. No reason. That's right," (CNN/politics) As Memorial Day Weekend began, Moscow Mitch and his Grand QAnon Party decided to comfort the ego of Trump and cover their asses and denied the American Public to learn the true facts of the INNSURECTION on January 6. The Banana Republic of Texas joined the Third World Wanna be Fascist states of Florida, Arizona, and Georgia in trying to deny the right to vote to millions of Americans. It seems to me MOURNING is coming fast and furious and make the Preamble to our Constitution meaningless.
