“This week, ICE’s detention of a five-year-old boy wearing a Spider Man backpack in the Minneapolis suburb of Columbia Heights quickly became a defining image of the Trump administration’s hardline immigration enforcement. Furious critics, including many local politicians, seized on Liam Ramos’s ordeal as glaring evidence that Trump’s mass deportation campaign has little to do with crime and a lot to do with terrorizing children and their families.” (The Guardian)
For me, this paragraph sums up the Trump Reich’s entire purpose regarding its creation of, endorsement of, and continued support of its ICE Gestapo actions. This paragraph also sums up, at least for me, very perfectly, Trump and his American Nazi regime's intentions and goals to run America, via fear, intimidation, terror, and authoritarianism.
So far, Trump has been successful in running the Republican Party as a Mob Boss might run his crime syndicate. He has bullied almost the entire Republican cowards, convincing them, sadly, with little effort, that to pay homage to Trump is the only allegiance that matters in American politics today. Trump, with the support of his Billionaire, pedophile donors, and his Fascist friends at the heritage Foundation have the Republican majority in his back pocket, so what is left, of course is to insight fear and terror to the masses, hoping that they too will be so overcome with his strong armed lawlessness, that they will cater to his wishes and whims.
None of this, at least as I see it, is difficult to see. The major problem, for me, is just how many people in power see this happening but prefer to still look the other way!
