It is called GOVERNMENT GUILT. It is called a cover up. It is called propaganda. And IT, is what the Trump Reich has always been very good at doing, knowing that a large percentage of his cultists desire how to be instructed as to what they see, what they hear and what they should feel. It is called TOTALITARIANISM: Totalitarian regimes typically violate basic human rights and deny common freedoms in maintaining total control over their citizens. It is called AUTHORITARIANISM: Through largely passive techniques such as propaganda, authoritarian states work to win the blind, voluntary submission of their citizens.

Both TOTALITARIANISM and AUTHORITARIANISM are key building blocks to keep a Dictator in power, and to provide free access for their own Army of protectors and enablers to inflict as much pain on the population, erasing many personal freedoms.
ICE, I believe, Trump’s intended private militia, seems to be immune from any crimes they commit. His legion of doom lackeys understands that their allegiance to Trump keeps their power in place, and Trump knows very well that inflicting fear and violence is what keeps him in power. How many more Americans will be murdered in cold blood before change happens in this nation is a sad question to be asking!
