I ask, “BUT WHY”, I think I already know the answer, so perhaps I write my question with a touch of the rhetorical, BUT nonetheless, I still beg for the answer to “BUT WHY?” Trump continues to sow doubt, deceit, and discredit democracy, and if was, anyone else, I might suggest, that whoever else he was or would be, WOULD BE considered a traitor, promoting treasonous acts, and actually would be held accountable for his disparaging actions by at least the FBI if not the Justice Department. “BUT WHY” is he permitted to continue to remain in office, and not considered a threat to the security of our nation. Is there NO consequence for ANY Trump insidious and enemy of the state words or deeds? I know, I know, I fucking know, it’s Trump, the GOP fear his temper and are intimidated because they place their own future as a priority above the welfare of the nation, and somehow a gnarled misinterpreted definition of being THE PRESIDENT, usurps this glaring defiant attitude toward our Constitution, and Bigotry, Hatred, and Racism, play an important part in the lives of the White American who must fear that within their lifetime, they will no longer remain the Alpha Citizen, so holding on to a Fascist as long as they can make them feel safe, for the moment…I still ask “BUT WHY?”
Are we all just relegated to the whims and mental illness of a wanna be AUTHORITARIAN, who is a CON, RUSSIAN ASSET, acting more like Benedict Arnold, then even Benedict Arnold could have dreamed about? We know, the GOP knows, the Christian Crusaders know, the 1% Domestic Donor Class of Terrorists know, even Sean/Laura/Jeannie/Tucker and the FOX and FIENDS know that BAD THINGS are emanating from within the confines of the White House and the Trump Administration. And yet, somehow, because a tyrant with the maturity of a slab of poop left in the abandoned restroom of a gas station located on Route 66 (or is that Route 666), who is nothing but a self-serving, depraved for love and empty of empathy, fearful of prison time, or worse, not able to accept bribes and the fruits of holding others hostage, says jump, all we as a nation say is “how far,” I still have to ask, “BUT WHY?”
So, as he remains in power, the Trump Administration is creating enough small fires hoping once they ignite, once Biden assumes power, that those campfires will turn into bond fires then a Towering Inferno, all we are supposed to do is pray he does not have a complete meltdown and are left to count down HIS remaining days, shaking and full angst as we do so. The latest “BUT WHY,” for me is that the Biden transition team still has no official permission to communicate with the Pentagon, YET, YEP, YET, Trump who is Putin’s puppet, not to mention a debtor to the Royal Saudi Family of Murderers, and a potential cash client to any other DESPOT paying enough, is STILL has an all-access pass. “BUT WHY!!!”
