MY OH MY…All those folks in Congress pretending to actually give a shit regarding our NATIONAL SECURITY. The Congress seems to only look where it is convenient to see things. Maybe TikTok is a major player in the Chinese Government’s continual plan to undermine American Leadership and American Democracy. But hey, CONGRESS, have you looked at the President-Elect and his cadre of Russian and Chinese-friendly appointees?
Do you remember when Trump told Russia? If you are listening…remember when Trump’s babe, Ivanka, somehow received a whole bunch of Copywrites from the Chinese Government? Do you remember the time Trump invited the Russian Foreign Ministry to a private meeting in the Oval Office? And do you remember ALL OF THE DOZENS AND DOZENS of Boxes marked CONFIDENTIAL/SUPER CONFIDENTIAL/AMAZINGLY CONFIDENTIAL were kidnapped and taken away without any regard for the lawlessness of doing so?

Lawmakers have told Google and Apple to be ready to remove TikTok from their U.S. app stores on Jan. 19. People who have already downloaded TikTok can keep using it for some time, but it will no longer update, making the app buggy and eventually useless.
TikTok has a stunning 170 million users in the U.S., but according to a Pew Research Center survey, just 32% of Americans support a ban. But lawmakers and experts have identified national security reasons to restrict the app as long as it holds its connection to China, including the spread of misinformation and espionage. (AXIOS)
