It seems the “trickle” feature of the “trickle down economy theory” has been clogged by the millions of dollars the billionaires do not have to pay in taxes via loopholes, offshore accounts and bribery of politicians. The drain supposedly pointing downward has turned into a dam by the extra dollars the 1% have earned by pretending they are guardians of the economy and has turned into a cesspool of business schemes, monopolies, PACS, and glorious salary manipulations providing CEO’s with parachutes and bonus’s even when they fail at their own jobs. Lots of rhetoric as to the notion that if the rich stay rich everyone else will benefit but if you look closely to the actions of the wealthy our economy remains a “tickle up” Ponzi Scheme. No raise in minimum wages, rents skyrocketing, home prices escalating, refusal to want to pay for benefits as if workers are greedy, and a continuation by the wealthy to buy politicians and presidential candidates just help to create a vast lake of trickle up money which has yet to reach the roots of this American economy!
And as for the “trickle down” money well it hasn’t found its way to the average American, and really can’t or won’t as long the Corporations who are people don’t act like a civilized human. These Corporations who the Supreme created as living beings don’t really have the lungs to breathe polluted air, don’t have the soul to help the homeless or those in poverty, don’t have the heart to willingly enrich the lives of those barely living on social security and certainly do not have the capacity to understand that the Earth may have reached its ability to provide a safe and healthy sanctuary for anything in need of oxygen and H2O.
The “trickle down” money however has created quite a flowing river for the politicians. Why there are millions of millions of dollars to rig a campaign, buy your favorite politician making he or she your puppet, dirty marketing advertisement and of course white mansplaining who is the enemy and who the hero should be. Infrastructure, pensions, pharmaceutical needs, Veterans needs, affordable housing are like deserts waiting and waiting for a spritz from the “trickle down” money. The Republicans love them some austerity believing that less is more, less will enable you, less will help provide you to become a true Patriot, and less is exactly why Jesus never really lashed out at the bankers, never feed the poor, and for God’s sake believed taxes for the wealthy was a curse of the Devil!
