Closer to another war, all depending upon the mood, the mind set, the mean spiritless of the guy siting in the White House. In one episode of the Twilight Zone, there was a little boy who amassed great powers, enough such, that if you EVER disagree with him, he might send you to a far away place, might put you inside a never ending television show in which you are continuously blown to smithereens, or just have you vanish. His parent and relatives walked cautiously around him, all agreeing as best they could for fear they might his next victim. Finally a trusting teacher steps in and builds trust with the young boy, hoping her best to dissuade him from his horrific ways. But that scary character was fiction, and at least the author tried to create a scenario in which good could triumph over evil.
Those departing GOP spineless anarchist politicians are leaving the Ship of Fools, which they helped craft, create and cater to. Some feel by just leaving the war they created they are heroes. Some are whispering aloud that perhaps they made some bad decisions, and some thinking that admitting to the public what sham of a man Trump was is and will be, somehow is a confession, from which they can find salvation. Others, of course like Paul Ryan, use, the “It’s for my kids”, excuse, and demands he is leaving to be a full time father rather than a full time FART! Amid all of this the screws of some mind of justice are hopefully being driven tighter and tighter by Mr Mueller, and if you listen close enough you might hear a bit of screaming coming from the Oval Office. But sadly for this nation when Trump screams, he has the ability to make the citizens of this nation SCREAM, and the world go to war. If there IS no conscience, no soul, no real means of sanity, just an empty insecure narcissistic shell of a man, how could anyone even consider dealing with Trump.
I have tried to listen to the Trump supporters, explain that they hated Hillary, it was Bernie or Bust, that Trump even though he never demonstrated, via facts that he was the Businessman of the Century, and that they still believe that HIS form of governing will work. But I grow tired of being the bigger person, and permitting them to continue deny the wreck and ruin running rampant in this nation, because Trump is immoral, immature and unprepared for this position. The thing for me, about good and evil is simple. After a while when bigotry, bias, hate and almost every kind of negative policy is enacted to hurt, the poor, the immigrant, the elderly the homosexual, the woman, the people of color, is repeated and repeated and those who support Trump STILL do so, I must wonder do they understand good from evil right from wrong. How much more of a conversation is necessary when time after time, the only places that come from Trump benefit him, his family or the very one percent of wealthy donors, who seem to hate America and love they money. Debate is necessary, but when who you debate a rock, it only leaves that discussion in a hard place. If Trump continues to succeed, who really wins?
