In TEXAS

Though the Court’s Monday order in Department of Homeland Security v. Texas was a victory for the Biden administration, it was also an ominous sign that many of the justices are eager to shift power away from the federal government — and toward state officials like Abbott, who are eager to impose more draconian enforcement policies. The legal fight over whether Texas can seize control of the border, explained The Constitution gives the Biden administration nearly exclusive authority over matters of immigration. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott wants the courts to change that. (VOX)

Some states prior to the actual outbreak of the American Civil War, decided that slavery was as American as say the Confederacy. STATES RIGHTS, they insisted, we should have the ability to enforce subhuman existence to humans, well because we never considered them anything but subhuman to begin with. And lo and behold, many in those states found some passage from some Bible, interpreted for them by some Preacher, that God’s real will to enforce slavery is TRUE RELIGION!

Once upon a time, I suppose Supreme Court Justices actually read the Constitution, instead of wanting to rewrite the Constitution to justify their own political and religious beliefs and realized that the United States to remain one nation, actually needed a Federal Government from which some sense of normalcy evolved.

Now, I can understand each state deciding on what color license plate they issue, even if there should be a license plate in the front and the back, let each state pick and choose their own state flags, and gosh darn it let them decide on which flower represents their state. BUT HOLY SHIT, now the states think that somehow each and every one of them ‘oughta’ pick and choose who can enter their states, as if the other 49 states are enemies, as if other nations are enemies, as if, with maybe the support of this Republican Activist Insurrectionist Supporting Supreme Court, agreeing to IGNORE THE CONSITUTION, and help create a new kind of Civil War!

Makes wonder if Gregg Abbott wants to be the next, Jefferson Davis!
