The state of Oklahoma is underwater, the ground has been saturated, and even the parking lots in front of each and every Baptist/Evangelical church are no longer accommodating cars, but only cater to canoes. “Reach out and touch faith Your own personal Jesus Someone to hear your prayers Someone who cares Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers Someone who's there…” (Personal Jesus/Martin Lee Gore/Depeche Mode). It makes one wonder, (and I AM being very SARCASTIC), exactly how much of God’s messages men like Senators Inhofe and Lankford listen to, versus how many Lobbyists with whom they communicate? 

I also wonder, and this time (with less Sarcasm, but enough to cause a slight sunburn) what kind of Earth do Senators like Inhofe and Lankford think will be left for their next generation of Christian children and grandchildren? When these two men discuss life, love, and loss with their Personal Jesus, do they actually think that he too, thinks that the horrendous climate and weather conditions we have suffered just within the past two decades, is a joke? Tis the season, (ever since the Coming of the Prophet Trump, as denoted by Falwell Jr/Graham and the ever-racist Ingraham) for a more hard-core He-Man kind of Jesus, a hard-drinking, womanizing, capitalist, so maybe all of this Climate Change IS nothing but Liberal/Progressive/Atheist BS.

So perhaps all the people of Oklahoma have to do is go to church and after they say AMEN, they should join in a round of a toddlers favorite song, “Rain, Rain Go Away!”
