Definition of tumult. 1a: disorderly agitation or milling about of a crowd usually with uproar and confusion of voices: commotion. b: a turbulent uprising: riot. 2: hubbub, din. 3a: violent agitation of mind or feelings. The first time I recall the use of this word was when around the age of five. I had just come home from my tonsil’s being removed, my mother suddenly had the flu, my father was able to drive me home from the hospital, but being a policeman, for some reason the city of Pittsburgh was emerged in an emergency, and he had to report to duty, my older sisters were in school, and my youngest sister was already staying at an aunt’s house. It was my Grandma Braff, who tried to come to the rescue, but when she showed up, and everyone was running around in crazy mode, all I heard her shout in the loudest voice ever, (I had no idea my Grandma could shout, I knew she could guilt you into oblivion, but she never used her voice to do), SUCH TUMULT! It was the raising of her voice, that resulted in a call to our neighbors (we were like family on our block, the families living there), so care was given to me, my mother, and my Grandma Braff, feeling like a queen sat and watched as everyone else actually took care of my mother and me.
So, here we are in the year 2019…25 men and women want to become the nominee from the Democrat Party for president…as if 5 or 6 minutes of air time each during a debate will make a difference…I have received at least 42 email requests from almost every Democrat candidate that with just $3 I can change the course of history and give to their campaign, and oh yeah, I should send a birthday greeting with perhaps a nice check to whichever or whomever candidate is celebrating a new year! Talking Heads are coming out of not only the woodwork but the rugs, the rocks, the hills, and the mountains, to explain the TUMULT the Trump Crime Family and Trump Crime Cabinet have caused. And oh yeah, there is once again Steve Kornacki, at MSNBC all sweaty with his sleeves rolled up running rampant from computer slide to computer slide, explaining the “this and that” of polling numbers…as if he and all of the coiffed and combed, suit and tie, earing and bracelet bunch of know-nothings pretend they have an answer…
And all the while, more separation of families of brown skin is on then off then on again…more cowards are insisting all they are doing is following orders in the molestation, murder and dismembering families…more shooting of people because they happen to be black…more threats of a catastrophic Middle East War, again on and off again, but don’t you worry, ON AGAIN…more warheads fired by North Korea, but love letters between Trump and his BFF Kim are exchanged…Clearance Thomas is predicting that the issue of Same-Sex marriage may be up for debate, and of course a Fetus enjoys the laws and love of the government, but once it becomes a baby outside of the womb, the same government officials will tell you it is too much like Socialism to help feed, care for, educate or house these once socialistic fetus’s…oh yeah almost two dozen of trumps staff, and family have broken the law and none of this current crop of crooks has seen a day in court, yet served time in jail! TUMULT, scream it loud Grandma Braff from your heavenly perch, as you look down and wonder why!
