Then-Now-Soon

NOW: The Supreme Court said Monday it would hear a major challenge to the reach of the landmark Roe vs. Wade abortion ruling and decide whether states may bar nearly all abortions after 15 weeks of a pregnancy. The justices said they had voted to hear an appeal from Mississippi that urges the court to "reconsider the bright-line viability rule" that says states may not prohibit abortions until the time a fetus is viable or capable of living on its own. This is generally about the 23rd week of a pregnancy.

THEN: Under the doctrine of coverture, put in the simplest terms: women were the chattel property of men under law until the early part of the twentieth century. Married women could not own property because they were property. A wo- man's body, her children, and the clothes on her back belonged to her husband.

THEN: The first amendment to the US Constitution states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." The two parts, known as the "establishment clause" and the "free exercise clause" respectively, form the textual basis for the Supreme Court's interpretations ... The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution says that everyone in the United States has the right to practice his or her own religion, or no religion at all. ... The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment prohibits government from encouraging or promoting ("establishing") religion in any way.

SOON and BEFORE: The horrors of Trump and McConnell have continued. The sheer indulgence of the Religious Domestic Donor Class Terrorists, to rewrite the Constitution as if it was just another Gospel of an already plagiarized New Testament, used for show and tell rather than read in a complete form, was the key to keeping McConnell well paid, and Trump in power. Look closely at the questionable morals and values of the current crop of Republican Supreme Court Activists judges, from Clarence Thomas, whose womanizing history has never been laid to rest, to “Kavanaugh” and his own Female Trouble, to Amy Coney Barrett and her subservient views of how females must acquiesce to males. Question their own motivations along with Samuel Alito’s various controversial decisions based upon the tenets of HIS personal religion. SOON, all Americans will face the denial of personal freedoms, if women are dictated to and now NO LONGER permitted to DECIDE their CHOICE regarding reproductive rights!
