Klaatu

“I am fearful when I see people substituting fear for reason. I am leaving soon, and you will forgive me if I speak bluntly. The universe grows smaller every day, and the threat of aggression by any group, anywhere, can no longer be tolerated. There must be security for all or no one is secure. Now, this does not mean giving up any freedom except the freedom to act irresponsibly.” (Klaatu/The Day The Earth Stood Still/by Edmund H. North/1951)

Aviation leaders called Thanksgiving travel an "individual choice" in a briefing on Thursday. "We have agreed we will all be tested more than once prior to our visit and after we return home," she said. "I take every precaution to protect myself and others. I wear a mask, sanitize, etc. "Right or you are wrong, people are just fed up. We need something to look forward to." (Americans and Corporations Birthed as People by the Supreme Court) And speaking of the Supreme Court, or might it be referred to as the White Person’s Christian Sharia…"The restrictions at issue here, by effectively barring many from attending religious services, strike at the very heart of the First Amendment's guarantee of religious liberty," the unsigned majority decision said. "Even in a pandemic, the constitution cannot be put away and forgotten." “I am gratified by the decision of the Justices of the United States Supreme Court, who have recognized the clear First Amendment violation and urgent need for relief in this case. I am proud to be leading the Diocese of Brooklyn and fighting for our sacred and constitutional right to worship,” Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio said in a statement. Churchgoers who agree say they prefer in-person worship instead of online. “I think it’s essential because people need to get closer to God right about now,” To be clear: On Nov. 12, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn and Agudath Israel of America asked the court for temporary injunctions against the New York governor's executive order.

My oh my, and a touch of I will be damned, if I may, Closer to God/First Amendment Violation of Religious Liberty/Individual Choice/Right or Wrong Just Fed Up/We Need Something to Look Forward To…I must ask about the 266,000 DEAD AMERICANS and exactly how fed up they must be, and the families of the 266,000 DEAD AMERICANS what exactly are they looking forward to. Maybe it’s the 180, 536 newly diagnosed COVID Americans, are they attending Church or Shul, will they be riding on that AIR-O-PLANE…And the already 13.3 Americans, I suppose right or wrong BUT, they still have symptoms or are asymptomatic but possibly contagious, and participants in any Super Spreader EXTRAVAGANZA! And where are Pence and his COVID Task Force, we know that Trump is suing democracy and playing golf! Spoiled/Bratty/Self-Imposed/Narcissistic/UGLY Americans, who JUST ARE TIRED OF ALL THIS CORONAVIRUS BULL SHIT! As if the care and love for another is just too much to ask as a priority over YOUR OWN SADAS SHIT SELFISH NEEDS! (Spoiler Alert…this DOES NOT END WELL!)

Friends and family may swear they’ll keep to their separate tables or corners of the room beforehand, but at the moment, it’s all too easy to fall back into our old habits: Masks get taken off so we can hear each other better, we get closer, we try to sneak in a quick hug goodbye. We’re social animals, after all, and though this has been the longest eight months of many of our lives, we’re still acclimating to life with COVID-19.
