The Republicans do not believe in science or history (among the many disbeliefs that they cherish), but somehow the Republicans of 2023, certainly know how to build their own WAY BACK MACHINE. So it seems, even as they disregard the facts of history as a perverted, contorted form of propaganda conceived to do bad things by the so imaginary ANTIFA Democrats toward Republicans, the crop of GOP leadership as well as their Republican Donor Owners, have discovered that hand-picked history can be a useful tool. After all, why invent HATE-FEAR-LOATHING-BIGOTRY when all of those evil qualifications once worked so well.
Embracing TRUMP by not EVER calling out his behavior, machinations, or commentary for the FASCIST/ANTI-SEMETIC/AUTHROTITARIAN that he and they represent, is a perfect way to bring back the days of Hitler and Mussolini during the 1940’s. Embracing your own politicians who cozy up with White Supremacists/ and Religious Leaders espousing Replacement Therapy is a perfect way to take us back to the days of the KKK and segregation during the 1950s. Embracing Misogyny, and banning books is a great combination of the 1940s and 1950s.
The Republicans swear science is the enemy of their God, and that history is lies used ONLY to make Dictators, Fascists, Bigots, and Racists look bad. But right in front of our faces, (YEP, even those out there who refuse to look at this perverted hate right in its eyes), the Republicans have built their own WAY BACK MACHINE, and are trying to take this nation.
