when an action is a reaction

The latest hostage video released by Hamas is disturbing, manipulative and revealing. Three women sit on cheap plastic chairs pushed against a tiled wall, somewhere in Gaza. By the end of the video, Aloni is shouting, her voice rough: “Free, free us now! Free their civilians, free their prisoners, free us, free us all, let us return to our families now. Now! Now! Now!” (Washington Post)

I gladly can only imagine, the grief, anxiety, stress, fear, and madness felt by these hostages, kidnapped by Hamas. To be one of them must be almost unbearable. I have nothing but respect for these hostages, I have anxiety for these hostages, and can only wish for their release. Hamas of course blames their being kidnapped and held against their own free will, as Netanyahu’s responsibility. Was it he and his military who kidnapped these innocents? Was it he and his military who have kept these hostages in captivity? Of course not, but Hamas is very good at ignoring facts and creating their form of faction as truth. Imagine if Hamas, the Terrorists who have made these people prisoners, said, “…we will free them now…” “…we will free them all…” “…we took them from their families, and will let them return to their families…”

As do most of the liars, murderers, kidnappers, and terrorists of the world, Hamas wants to present their own actions as the result of someone else’s actions, pretending that they initiated their actions as a RE-ACTION.
