Some responders replying, of what concern is that to you, based on what evidence?

The SMALL picture…the Christian Evangelical right wing of the Republican Party asking President Obama, are you a Muslim? The President’s response, I am Christian have been my entire life.

The BIG picture…I need an enemy. I am unhappy trying to defend my own insecurities, so I will go on the offense, attack you and I may never have to defend my lack of a backbone or conscience. I need justification for my inadequacies. I can justify my behavior by balancing your behavior against mine. I will lash out, holler epitaphs of holier than thou, and blame, name and numb you so all you are doing is denying. I will never state the truth but supply enough innuendo to knock you to the ground catching you off guard and unable to battle fiction with fact. I will say the same lie over and over again until it is repeated so often it MUST be the truth.

SMALL minds…bad things come from bad people, identifying the bad people will make things good. Evil exists in those different than me. It is that evil which has created the woeful ways of my life and once that evil is defined and labeled my life WILL get better.

SMALL minds…lets burn those witches in Salem… I am Richard Nixon and I have an enemies list…once we give those colored folk freedom the colored men will start raping our white women… women’s suffrage, why, God created Eve from Adam’s rib, she is his possession not his equal… it is anti American to protest a war, we go to war because we can, those hippies, socialists, communists should all be deported… I am Anita Bryant and I know that Gay teachers have an agenda to recruit our boys and girls in the classroom; they can’t reproduce so they recruit. "I want to make sure that a person I'm supporting is going to have my values. It's not anything about Jews and whether I think their religion is right or Muslims and whether I think their religion is right. ... I got into politics to put Christian conservatives into office. They're the people that do the best jobs over all." We are the State of Texas Republican Executive Committee. And we want to fire that Jew Rep, State Rep. Joe Straus as Speaker of the House…I can make up any fact I want to, and state the most absurd fact I wish and I will not tolerate any ‘lame street’ press to deny my first amendment right, I am the half term Miss Congeniality winner from the state of Alaska…if they don’t have to lie about their homosexuality anymore they will have anal intercourse with soldiers in the shower.

BIG minds…They used to stand up to racism, sexism, homophobia, Islamaphobia, anti Semitism, bigotry, bias and hate. They used to say enough, this is America, this is not a country built on apartheid, on apathy, on anger. They used to call the bluff of buffoons, stop the swagger of shysters, and halt the hooligans. They used to do what was right. But somehow the BIG minds have retreated, given up or given in. There is never a time to acquiesce to the SMALL minded and certainly not time to abandon all hope NOW.

I thought we were taught to learn from history? Are most of us suffering from dementia, amnesia? The SMALL minds it seems are taking control of the camera and the pictures they take are very, very scary.
