Back from the cesspool, where, hidden in a hyper chamber of hypocrisy and hate, Newt Gingrich has reappeared on Faux News to elaborate on just what a complete lying bastard he was then and continues to remain now. Not relevant in his own mind, to mind the business of the nation, and I suppose having run out of merchandise to hawk for the Pay to Pray dupes, listening for the Lord’s word through the mouths of any array of Christian American Taliban, little Newtie has reemerged. Running out of excuses, as most GOP loons, it seems the newest ploy, or plot, or plan is the use, Jesus, once more, and to express deep concern that the Dems are NOT at all Christian enough, because NOW, the issue regarding the crimes committed by Trump should be overlooked because it is almost time to celebrate the birth of Christ. And how in the world could anyone with a clear conscience, ruin Christmas for this nation by holding and Impeachment vote and an Impeachment hearing…except, of course, if you had once been the Speaker of the House, named Newt Gingrich back on December 19, 1998, when, with full speed ahead, right before Christmas Day, YOU insisted on impeaching Bill Clinton!
Duke Ellington once wrote the lyrics “…If it ain’t got that swing then it don’t mean a thing…” Which translated into Republican Oligarch speak means: “…if it ain’t got that hypocrisy, then why say it at all…” Newtie, all emboldened because they dug deep enough on Faux News on the way to Hell, to bring back the symbol of Jesus loves me, yes I know, Gingrich. (Just as an aside, because, all GOP big talkers, talk shit, but mainly because they are full of it). For your reminder, Newtie had a wife dying of cancer and decided she was weighing his political career down with her damn depressed mood and dire dread of death, so he had an affair as his wife's body becomes more and more infiltrated by cancer cells. Newtie became a Catholic and married his new wife, who in essence had been having an affair with a known married man. Yet, Callista, the Catholic, soon to become the third Mrs. Gingrich, somehow, once back door deals and bribes were complete, became the US Ambassador to the Vatican. Once again a true DEMONSTRATION of both the republican and religious community, (no matter which religion), yearning for HYPOCRITICAL HAPPENSTANCE!
So, Christmas time is a poor choice to save American democracy from a tyrant. But I suppose in the demented and dystopian void which IS the Republican Party, cutting funding for the SNAP Program, providing food and medical assistance to the poor, the continuation of keeping kids in concentration camps, hiding adult women from one secret Wal-Mar Warehouse to another, and having children of immigrants adopted even though their real families are alive, just makes more sense to Jesus Christ, and is an okay thing. Newtie is back and he has provided the US with the newest game of hiding and seek that the GOP will use to support a Russian Asset, and all-around American Ass Wipe, Donald Trump!
