While we were watching Republican Representatives, revive Russian talking points, and never once accusing Trump of High Crimes and Misdemeanors, Treason, and Bribery; actually taking to task law professors for the audacity of teaching law, and having the arrogance of citing the Constitution as the ideal of Law and Order in this nation. While, Rudy Giuliani was still at it, bribing his way through eastern Europe and especially Ukraine, committing the same crimes of quid pro quo while offering bribes for foreign agents to invent false propaganda against Trumps perceived political enemies or worse Trump’s potential rivals for the nomination of President in 2020. While we watch the grandstanding of GOP lackey's either Russian Assets themselves, spineless immoral minions fearful to be “Primaried,” or worse, perhaps being visited by an old-fashioned KGB dude with a rope in his hand and the new version of Republican lynching, hanging those for whom Trump has become paranoid. While leaders of NATO, have stood fast and held their ground no longer permitting Trump to lie, or sputter or demonstrate his dangerous mental illness dilemma of dementia, but in fact watching the spoiled brat lean over, hunched and round, so much so that his extra-long tie, almost looked as if a mop was cleaning the floor, having no idea where to place his tiny hands…The US Government, (the same country providing the top1 and 2% with so many tax breaks that some corporations a d families actually pay no income taxes), decided to begin its war against the poor, the minority, the single-parent family, and pretend that food, shelter, and health were way too costly.
Hundreds of thousands of Americans who rely on the federal food stamp program will lose their benefits under a new Trump administration rule that will tighten work requirements for recipients. The move by the administration is the latest in its attempt to scale back the social safety net for low-income Americans. It is the first of three proposed rules targeting the Supplemental Nutrition Program, known as SNAP, to be finalized. The program feeds more than 36 million people. The plan, announced Wednesday, will limit states from exempting work-eligible adults from having to maintain steady employment in order to receive benefits. (AP News) “This administration is out of touch with families who are struggling to make ends meet by working seasonal jobs or part-time jobs with unreliable hours,” said Stabenow, the top Democrat on the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, & Forestry.
I have nothing against any able-bodied man or woman finding employment. But let’s be real America, those of us NOT in the lower brackets of income, unemployment may be low (due to the efforts of the Obama Administration action, inherited by the Trump Administration,), but working two jobs because one does not pay enough, or working for billionaire businesses like Wal-Mart, who actually beg their customers to help place food on their employees tables, does not make ANYONE live like a Middle-Class person (and our Middle Class, is almost an obsolete word). Minimum wage is low, working minimum wage jobs are counted in the employment statistics, and working seasonal jobs does not make a man or woman capable of feeding, housing or paying the medical bills. So while, we wait and wait, watching the Republicans so whirling dervish around a Russian Puppet, and witnessing the Evangelical American Taliban praise the Jesus like qualities of Trump, over 600,00 Americans will be removed from their pursuit of happiness, let alone a healthy life in this nation. The cause of the rise of our DEFICIT is never the fact that the wealthy pay less taxes, that the military-industrial complex budget grows and grows as might a cancer cell, but for the Republicans who only dine on the dollar bill, it is usually the cause, of the poor, the elderly, the disabled, and any minority ho is painted into the economic corner of injustice by a financial system established to hurt and harm them!
