HUH?

Caseload and hospitalization rates in the Ozarks region have reached levels not seen since the winter, officials said. In several counties across Missouri and Arkansas, caseloads have now reached or surpassed their winter peaks. According to the most recent data available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the delta variant accounts for more than 73% of new cases in Missouri, by far the highest percentage of any state. Arkansas has new legislation regarding COVID-19. Act 1030 prohibits state and local authorities from using a vaccine passport or documentation that a person has been vaccinated against COVID-19. This becomes law July 27, and it does not impact businesses that can still make their own decisions on whether to require vaccines. Act 1002 bans local governments from mandating face masks although businesses still can. This also takes effect on July 27. Act 977 prohibits the state from mandating COVID-19 vaccines. It’ll remain in effect two years after FDA approval for the vaccines. Missouri Gov. Mike Parson enacted a new law Tuesday limiting the duration of local public health restrictions and barring governments from requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination to use public facilities and transportation. “Then next time we do get in a crisis, we’re going to have a little bit more safeguards for the general public to make sure they have more transparency and more of a voice in the process,” he said.

If those in the State Governments of both Arkansas and Missouri, DO NOT GIVE ONE SHIT, about the health and welfare of their citizens, and ALMOST call out any CONCERN regarding COVID-19, as some covert Socialist or Communist takeover and denial of some kind of personal choice…then PLEASE explain to ME, a citizen of this nation, why I should CARE? One might wonder, WHY, saving lives or the concern that EACH and EVERY life matters, has become a Conservative and Christian war cry or a curse on this nation, a perceived PROGRESSIVE OR LIBERAL form as in the plot of the book 1984, for some IMAGINARY Big Brother to interlope…intrude…

BUT…It IS okay for the GOVERNMENT to remain a BIG BROTHER/FATHER AND MOTHER in controlling a female’s reproductive system and body… Abortion in Missouri is legal. There is one abortion clinic in Missouri. You can get an abortion up to 22 weeks, and past if the woman's health is in jeopardy. In 1900, Missouri criminalized abortion. Currently, abortion is legal in Arkansas for up to 20 weeks of gestation. On March 3, 2021, the Arkansas General Assembly passed Senate Bill 6, which would make Abortion in Arkansas an unclassified felony unless done to save the life of a pregnant woman in a medical emergency.
