To whom should we turn…seriously exactly who in our government is the source We the People should now rely on to assist us with reclaiming any minutia of democracy? Is it the Electoral College, a group of people most of us do not know, nor even understand why and how they are the electoral college voters? The Supreme Court with its 8 Justices, providing us as partisan a panel of judges as there has ever been? The Republican Leadership, the men (The white men in leadership) the same guys who looked the other way as Vlad and his Russian hackers tore into the DNC and anything Hillary? The men who found it too time consuming and tedious to establish another oversight witch hunt? The leadership of the minority party of Dems, the folks who either are wearing a sign on their back that says kick me, I am with stupid, or as George Bush proudly said you can fool me once but now stated by the every so non proactive Dems ‘Fool me as many times as necessary?’
To whom can we count on as a purveyor of truth…seriously exactly who in the cable news media is the sounding board examining the facts? Is it the networks who worry that too much truth telling will piss off the ever vexed Trump Team, denying them any access to the president of the USA? The cable outlets, the corporations for whom a catchy sound byte is the best headline…where ratings decide the type of commentary…the ones who prefer Jerry Springer moments to motivate their listeners…who use opinion as their guide and object to facts? The minions of talking heads, recycled over and over again, almost making one wish some of those heads would explode?
To whom, to what, to how, to when to why….And yet, even though Trump has done it again and this time he REALLY won’t get away with it, HE DOES IT AGAIN, and AGAIN, and AGAIN…Lots of talk, circling his wagons, violations, lack of’s and as if he truly was like the alien monster GORT, in the movie “The Day The earth Stood Still”, nothing penetrates his lawlessness, treason, divisive mantel. I wish someone would tell us what now, because I am so ready and eager to assist!
