Perhaps had we insisted that it was not the whim of the men or women, running for the highest office in our land, the Presidency, perhaps if we had decided decades ago, that all men and women are to be treated equally in this nation under the same laws, tax returns, business associates, and all of the security background checks the FBI MUST procure for those wanting Executive Branch Security, would have, should have and could have been a part of the law of OUR land, and we might not have the assistance of the Russian government in helping us choose our current Commander-In-Chief. And now it is his toss of the dice as to whether or not someone might be able to screw this nation, just as he has surely done, by deciding who to bless with our secrets and who to permit then nation’s secrets to be shared.
Lets not fool ourselves, many important pieces of nation security have been bought and traded by the Trump/Kushner/McConnell traitors enabled by a bunch of Republicans whose disdain for the democratic way has always been pervasive and poisonous. The question I wonder about is just how do we as nation EVER undo, the damage, caused by the Trump’s and their was at which a foreign nation can blackmail them.
Perhaps had we not considered the Office of President as place ANYONE might aspire to, but instead, realized the President of this nation must earn his or her position and place honest accountability in that procedure we would have never heard of the words collision. And oh, yes, by the way, perhaps anyone running for the Federal Office, should be required to at least pass the same test new citizens are provided, or maybe a ninth grade AP US History test.
