Another day, another fail and another denial that in fact anything is wrong, so there is really nothing to change. Trump and his Klan of misogynists doing their best to berate, women, playing the part of Macho Master, pretending that the 1950s is alive and well and that its time once again for the Scarlet Letter to become fashion. So another Trump not ready for prime time guy bites the dust, for his ignorant and idiotic narcissistic take on how to treat women. The Cable News Talking heads acting as if this is new NEWS, lamenting the fact that how could this happen…why was this even permitted to happen…and still agreeing that no matter what, Trump somehow didn’t know that yet one more Klansman harassed, hurt and humiliated a female.
So now what, and I ask that both rhetorically, and with great earnest of interest, so now what do we do. I heard the President of the National Organization of Women speak, outraged at the behavior or Trump toward women, I heard some Journalists with pristine professional credentials huffing and puffing, and of course the Talking Heads both Republican and Democrat just amazed, just shocked that one more of Trump’s Klansmen physically beat up a woman. So what? This is unreal, yet it is a common occurrence via the Trump Administration. And it’s not just the sexual harassment, or the gender gap discrimination in wages, or job growth…NO, it goes beyond that…it goes as far as the disregard for women to control the freedom over their own bodies, over their own reproductive rights. The GOP may offer thoughts and prayers for the female victims of harassment, but somehow the GOP gives a shit when it comes to wanting women to decide on abortion rights. Freedom for women is not being the gentleman and asking them if they are okay with a sexual advance, freedom for women SHOULD be, its your body, it’s your life its your will, its ALL your choice.
And for me, one of the most unbelievable things is just how many Republican women enable the male abuser to continue treating females as chattel. The women in the White House who say nothing, the women in the Congress who vote against their own rights, the women in the 38% of the Trump base who worships at the heels of a Trojan Horse dripping in gold plated bull shit. Another day, another perplexing, revolting disrespect for anyone woman…and NOTHING, nothing at all seems to stop it from happening again!
