If a person plans an insurrection, a coup, acts in a seditious manner, plans to topple the Constitution, why in the world should that person be eligible to plead the 5th? I ask this rhetorically, with way too much naiveté, sarcasm, and frustration! If one of those people acting in a treasonous manner, happened to be the President why should he or she still be permitted any kind of Executive privilege and why should he or she, not be considered an Enemy of the State and have his or her affairs treated as might a criminal? If any sitting member of Congress or of a state legislature has initiated, promoted, participated in an attempted overthrow of this government, why have they not been at least temporarily dismissed from their political jobs and placed on a non-paid leave of absence?
I BEG the answers to these questions, and am quite DISMAYED and DISTRESSED, that life goes on for these aggressors due process is considered a fact of life, even as all of the above has done everything in their power to DISRUPT our DEMOCRACY! WHY should these TRAITORS be treated as civil and lawful members of our society, when in fact all they intended to do is DESTROY our society!
